A murdered business partner. A hundred million dollars. A client who claims his innocence.
Coop’s client is a renowned scientist in the pharmaceutical industry. The pending charge is the murder of his business partner, and a hundred million dollars provides the motive. As an arrest looms, the desperate client seeks Coop’s help to uncover the real murderer.
All evidence points to the mild-mannered scientist. He asserts his innocence and begs Coop to uncover the clues the police overlooked. Coop and Annabelle, his faithful sidekick, work around the clock to sift through the evidence in search of anything to clear their client. As always, Coop’s loyal golden retriever, Gus, along with the sometimes meddling, but well-meaning Aunt Camille, support the investigative efforts.
Connections are exposed, and suspects interrogated, but all the promising leads evaporate. Their determination wanes when they discover additional persuasive evidence against their client, causing Coop to doubt his instincts. With increased persistence, they unearth a damaging secret. A vital piece of evidence provides the thread that unravels the case, leading Coop to uncover the killer and the motive for murder.

This booking the third one was so fun to read, It had mystery and who done it, also about Fool's Mom being a terrible distraction. I hoping this Author will write more books wit AB and Coop. I was hoping some romance would come of them.
This is the 3rd book in the Cooper Harrington Detective series. I am enjoying this series. I did like the book prior better, but this one is good. I really like Coop and all the T-shirts he wears with funny sayings. It really brings some comic relief. Gus is my favorite, but I am a sucker for a story with a dog.
Coop is contacted by Chandler, a college acquaintance. Chandler's business partner has been killed under mysterious circumstances and he is the prime suspect. He swears he didn't do it and he wants Cooper to prove his innocence and find the really killer. With all the evidence pointing to Chandler, this may be a tough one for Coop. Coop wants to believe his friend but as he keeps investigating even he may doubt his innocence.
Turns out there are quite a few suspects but no proof as to who could have done it. It is looking like Chandler has motive and opportunity which doesn't look good for him. As Coop keeps digging, he undercovers some secrets which leads him in the direction of the killer. This one takes some twists and turns with plenty of surprises to find a killer. Could Coop find out that Chandler really is a killer or does the evidence send him a different direction?
Even though this series could be read out of order, I strongly recommend reading them on order so the reader can really get to know Cooper and the other characters. In each book we are learning more and more about Coop and his family. I really love learning more about the characters and Cooper's relationship with his aunt. I keep thinking the author is going to write a romance with Coop and AB but there is still a part of me that really likes their friendship and could a romance ruin that. I guess time will tell. I am looking forward to the next book.
Crazy Fun! Dead Wrong by Tammy L Grace was a crazy fun read. Coop and AB are private investigators. Coop has a Golden Retriever he takes almost everywhere and his name is Gus. I loved Gus! Well...I love dogs so, if you know me, that is a given!
This book is number three in the Cooper Harrington Detective Series. It did fine as a stand alone but, Tammy says they are more enjoyable read in order. You get more of the characters background stories that way. Each book is a new case for the Harrington and Associates. I will be going back to read Book one and two. The fourth book won't be out for a while so, I'll be ready for it.
If you've read any of Tammy's books, you know her writing style. Her books go down like honey. She always leave you satisfied.
I received a copy of this book from the author for a fair and honest review. Thank you Tammy!
When Coop gets contacted by a college acquaintance whose business partner dies under mysterious circumstances while eating lunch with Chandler, in a closed room, with no other occupants, Coop and AB agree to investigate and prove his innocence.
Chandler is a pharmaceutical scientist in the middle of getting a drug approved that will help Alzheimer's patients and the man killed was his business partner.
As they investigate, Coop's dad falls in Reno and needs surgery on his knee, then physical surgery, Aunt Camille takes the opportunity to send Coop to bring him to Nashville so she can take care of him. She also adopts Chandler and brings him into the family and Sunday dinners.
These books in this series are easy to read, entertaining, and the cases are original. I have read other books by this author and she does not.disappoint.
I mostly enjoyed the first book in this series, but I questioned whether I should continue reading it due mostly to some unnecessary language. However, I enjoyed that book enough to want to try and continue the series. After reading the second book, I was hooked. Now, I can't wait to read the next book in the series. These books have a lot going on in them. Coop's relationship with his mom is more detailed, and his dad is more involved in this book. I like the way his Dad and Aunt Camille interact. There is usually more than one mystery to solve, each with their own twists and turns. I enjoy the characters very much, and of course, I love how Gus is involved in every scene. I am about to start book number 4 in the series and am seriously hoping there will be more to follow!
I have read all three of the Cooper Harrington series and have loved them all. In this book, Coop et al try to find a murderer not their client who is claimed to be a suspect. The books gets drawn out a little too long about finding the killer but too many loose ends. Thus I gave it a 4 star rating. The book picks up by having several side stories which makes the book much more interesting. One of Aunt Camile’s friends ask for help, Coop’s Dad need rehab and comes to TN. There is a #4 and I will be reading it soon.
So glad I found this series! Wonderful characters and great stories. Hope Coop's dad stays around, he and Aunt Camille are fun together. Of course, Gus, the golden retriever, is one of my favorites in these stories, and I hope there's a new book to come soon. We really need to see what happens at the bachelor auction, and find out how much AB has to spend to win Coop! These books are now one of my favorite series and I hope they continue for a long time.
Good balance between the personal relationships, ie Coop, AB, Ben, Camille, etc. and the procedural detective work all woven together to solve the case in the end. Coop is very likeable as is AB and I hope he sees AB as she sees him (more of a life partner instead of just a business partner) soon. Come on, Coop! Would also like to see Ben fleshed out a bit more in future books. Great read. Really enjoy this series.
Love reading the Coop Harrington series. This time, the business partner of a well renowned scientist has died, and it looks like possible homicide. The scientist has hired Coop and AB to find out who would have done this, as he has come under scrutiny by the police for the murder of his partner. At times it seemed like they were running into walls in a maze, with some great ‘red herrings’, but a really important clue will lead Coop to solving this mystery.
Coop and AB are amazing again! This novel was another great story. The twists and turns kept .e in suspense. Again couldn't put it down! Now I have read all the Hometown and Cooler Harrington novels. I'm so sad. Can't wait for the next books. Thanks again Tammy.
I just loved all three books! Can’t wait for more! When is Coop a,nd AJ going to be an item? They would make a great couple and pair of detectives parters. Tammy is a great writer and books are page turners. She keeps me engaged throughout the whole book. Love Camille too. Please continue series.💕
Love this series with wonderful characters! This book involves a murder with an unpredictable solution. I encourage you to read the series in order. Although each book could stand alone and has a conclusion, the characters evolve and you get to know each of them better in each book.
This third book in the series is full of twists and turns, keeping the reader engrossed as new evidence seems to wind up as dead ends. Eventually the truth emerges, but only after frustrating disappointments. I'm looking forward to many more books in the entertaining series.
I always read series starting with book 1, so this is my third Cooper Harrington book. I enjoy the characters so much! Getting to know Cooper's parents has been great. The story is a bit of a head scratcher but then falls into place nicely. If you haven't read the series, do it. Start with the first one so everything comes together as it should.
P.I. Mystery: Fun and Clean This book is the third in a series that should be read in order. Each book is a complete mystery, but the back story gets filled in with each book. These are clean books with no foul language, no gore, little violence and no bedroom scenes. This book has noticeably more humor than the previous books, and is fast paced. I plan on binge-reading this series.
Convoluted plot becomes clear at the end. I am totally enjoying this series of books. The only drawback in the quantity of characters in each book. Sometimes it is hard to keep everyone straight. This particular story line makes it obvious that sometimes everything can look one way, and be entirely different in reality. this is definitely a series you should read, and read in order.
Comfortable is what I feel when I am reading this series. It’s a good read with characters that you can relate too. The story line getting to the end is not something that you want to skip over. There is a reason for the detail. Just like the author I suggest you read from book one. Not necessary but will be more entertaining.
Dead Wrong is the third book in a series by Tammy Grace. As in the other two, this book contains a major story along with a few side stories. The characters are presented as good people and fun to get to know. The bad guys are interesting as well. So far, the books have been enjoyable to read and I look forward to #4
I really liked this series but I need to see what happened at the auction!
Love that the villain wasn’t easy to pick out and can5 wait for the next installment! I have read both series now in the last couple of weeks and don’t know where to go from here! Hurry up hahaha!
I really enjoyed this 3rd book of mystery murders with Coop Harrington, Annabelle, & Gus. Looking forward to the next book and hoping Coop finally "sees" AB and that Gus sniffs out a few clues of the case!
4 stars for Dead Wrong (Cooper Harrington Book 3). As in the others in this series, loved the characters and their relationship to each other and their desire to find the answers. Can't wait to read the next book.
Every book gets even better. There is great character development and Coop, AB, Ben, and others are very honorable people and diligent investigators. Aunt Camille and Coop's dad even run their own investigation. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I like books that are fast paced and this series delivers. The main characters work well together and the premise was interesting and plausible. An enjoyable read and Gus, the dog is a definite character plus!
I’ve enjoyed this series, looking forward to the fourth book, wishing there were more. They are unique and have twists that are unexpected. I recommend if you like a mystery without gore and bad language.
These are fast reads and very enjoyable. The characters make the stories more interesting. This one had a twist I didn't see coming. Great for binge reading, you are at the end before you know it and want to get to the next in the series.
This was a very good book! I have enjoyed this series (Cooper Harrington Detective) very much. The writing keeps you involved with the book. The characters and plots are the best.
