This book was really cute and also very sad being I have a heart for any animal. I really cried when Timmy the dog was lost in a snow storm, but soon found a warm and caring kind family that gave him everything he needed to be happy again. That part I really smiled because that was the happy part of the story. Overall I loved reading this book and I would maybe read this again one more time.

Another good cute animal story from Holly Webb.

Suitable for younger readers or to be read by their guardians. Some slight peril but a happy ending that the book needed.

I find that I can be close to tears with this author. Some sad and some happy. That is why I enjoy reading her words.

Timmy In Trouble was so cool. In the first place, the cat, Misty, and the puppy, Timmy, weren't friends. And then, at the end of the book, they both slept together on a pink fleece blanket. And Timmy was a cocker spaniel, like Bo!

I thought that this book was magnificent. I understand how Jess felt about Misty but seriously Timmy was only trying to be her friend. Jess must have been so heart-broken though when Misty ran away from home. I guess she did have a point to be mad at Katie because Jess obviously loved Misty very, very, very much. My favorite charcter is Timmy because he was so heroic to save Misty. Even Misty knows that he did something special by saving her and let him cuddle up with her. Now they're good friends instead of the worst enemies. I reccomend this book to everyone as it is awesome and amazing!

If you need more easy chapter book series featuring cute animals this will definitely fit the bill. I took a star away because the family gets their new puppy from a breeder. I would rather have the family have rescued their new puppy, especially since there are so many breed specific rescues out there.

Interesting, the copy I have with the identical cover is "Teddy in Trouble" and the cat's name is Misty, not Moggy. Very strange. Good series; I'm pouring through them all trying to find a unique angle for a middle-grade dog story I hope to write.

A cute emerging reader novel about a Christmas time puppy. I nice story for kids who have pets or are going to get pets to read about how kids can form strong relationships with pets, but not without a fair share of obstacles to overcome.
