Pokémon is one of the most popular and successful entertainment franchises in the world, encompassing video games, the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), mobile games and apps, animation and movies, Play! Pokémon competitive events, and licensed products. It was first established in Japan in 1996 with the launch of the Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green video games for the Game Boy™ system. The video games were released internationally in 1998 as Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue. More than 20 years later, Pokémon continues to be a global entertainment mainstay and pop culture icon.
I have to admit, I enjoyed this story a lot more than the previous one. While it is also an original story, it wasn’t as boring as the previous Balloon Race story.
But as with the Balloon Race I have to ask, as there are so many filler stories you could have used to adapt for a book, why make an original story. At least this wine was entertaining.
was this based on any episodes? seeing Gary with all 3 starters and pidgeot with ash, even though he was abandoned at the end of the orange islands saga certainly doesn't fit with what we've seen, plus where are the gen 2 pokemon?

One of the more enjoyable stories. Team Rocket are great. Gary is a great rival. Ash is actually pretty competent and makes good choices. I do love the fact that my copy has 3 different chapter 10s.
