Awesome

Great characters, a page turner, and, did I mention the steam wafting from the pages? Yowza!

I really enjoyed this book, and I highly recommend grabbing a copy! If you like good writing, spunky dialogue, and a sexy, intriguing plot with a cool-seductive heroine, you'll devour this novel like I did!! I look forward to the release of book two! Yippee!

I liked the story but I couldn't quite get into it. This was a shorter story but I think it might have been to short. The writing felt tight, like the writer was trying to put as much as possible into it. It's a very fast paced story with quite a few characters. I was actually thinking there was a former story that explained more into the story, but I couldn't find anything, so I just assume because it was a short story it is what it is.
Like I said, the story is good, but it's one of those that you keep asking yourself, what can happen next.

Succubus, muses, and incubus take stage in this story where one can be born into these powers without a choice. A succubus and incubus have to take a life in order to keep living. Sonya’s wit and her struggle feel real.

I received a copy of this book from the author and I gladly leave my review.
This is the 1st book I’ve read of J.R. Thorn’s and I must say there were some pretty hot scenes. Sonya is a succubus do I need to say more. I really enjoyed this book, I loved the characters and the storyline and I recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

Sonya, a succubus, struggles with her affliction. She can have any man she wants, until she screws them to death. That's why she's tried a girlfriend on for size, but a girl's still got to eat. Being a lesbian would be great if only Sonya were human. Unfortunately, she's not, and she needs to feed to survive.

The trail of bodies has led Detective Anderson to Seattle. He's determined to find hard evidence and put Sonya away for good. Normally a man would be no match for a succubus, yet Sonya's powers seem to have no effect on the determined detective.

Dubbed the "Black Widow," Sonya must evade the law until she can find a way to overcome her curse, which means finding the Blood Stone, the relic that killed her mother.

My friends call me Sonya ~ Mr. Anderson calls me the Black Widow ~ You can call me "Succubus"

I love fantasy. And romance. So when they're meshed together, I'm the happiest person on the planet. Now, add in a succubus and this story gets a little heated. I haven't read much books about succubus' (succubi?), so my knowledge is pretty low. I went into this hopeful and ended it with a good note.

Sonya is an awesome character. She's a succubus, which means she kills when she loves someone. She's kick ass with a fiery attitude. But because of what she is, she leaves a string of bodies behind her. And she's pretty funny with a side of sarcastic as well. A female...

This was such a wonderfully fun and thoroughly entertaining short story that sparked my interest and captured my heart. I can't wait to hear more from this exciting series! The storyline is a fun, original idea that fully engaged my head and heart in no time.

The characters were very interesting and promised to touch my heart deeply. I loved the twists and turns along the way. Finding an unwanted surprise can make a story that much deeper and more satisfying in the end. The highly unique characters proved to push past my boundaries and open myself to a world of promise and fantasy that thoroughly loved.

I enjoyed the narration of this story and how it gave such depth and heart to it. The quiet yet powerful way that words reverberated off my heart had me listening with bated breath to see what happened next. This series sounds like a fantastic original hit!

One of the strangest books I have read. The story was meandering and unfocused. In fairness to the author, I don’t usually read a book like this so when it was offered for free and I was looking for something different I decided to try it.
