This book is a treat in so many ways. Kudos to author D Camille for producing captivating new characters who connect so well to tried and true old characters of previous works. They continue to love, edify our people, outsmart the enemy and live life to the fullest. ACT TWO is an incredible story, and I recommend it. It is definitely not a stand-alone, so you need to read WHEN CURTIS MET PEARL, and ACT ONE in that order.

Pretty good
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the book. It was a little predictable but I still enjoyed reading it. Act One is still my favorite, but I still have Act Three to get through before any final decisions are made. I'm actually pretty excited to hear about how to movie finally comes together

Niyah & Rashad story, You knocked the ball out of the ball park on this one. I was slow reading this one cause I was on a family cruise, but wow when I returned and picked this book up. I couldn’t put it down seems to be that way with all of your book Ms. Lady. I love how you keep the characters from your other books alive all the way back to the Black Diamond. That was my first series and I have been hooked every since.
I have finished two of your books in one week, two different series I went from Act II “The Creators”to The Negus Effect with “The Professional” and now on to Act III. Picking up steam now that the holidays are over. Keep the books coming

Book Two
In book two of this three book series. We meet Nyiah Kendall the author and Rashad Miller the best script writer in the industry. Rashad and Nyiah are instantly attracted to one another and don't try to hide it. Nyiah and Rashad are working on turning her famous book " When Curtis met Pearl" into a phenomenal movie, but Rashard has to re write it from book form to movie form and Nyiah is not feeling it and that famous Watson temper surfaces. Rashad past is starting to get the best of him. Will Nyiah and Rashad be able to move forward on their attraction or will Nyiah's temper and Rashad' s past keep them apart.

I was not ready
This author takes great pleasure in keeping the reader off balance. I am intrigued by how easy the characters seem to coexist so readily. I really like how previous characters pay visits. I am captivated
This is such a wonderful spinoff series to an equally wonderful book. I am in awe at how well each book is telling it's own story but still remains connected to the book prior and the original from whence it came. I cannot wait to see it all come together in book 3.

I'm very appreciative of the black history that was shared in this book. Proud to have known the information and to also love our history enough to make sure my three black children know it and understand it. Keep writing D. These couples show love the right way. And I love that justice was done,Chauncey was a creep. Chow!

Very well written story by D. Camille. She does not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, the transition to new characters while still giving glimpses into the lives of the characters we grew to love in the previous novel. The story had the right amount of love story mixed with education and suspense.

Awesome, Awesome and so Awesome. Glad to hear Sage and Jordan are doing well, especially that little Diamond whose a tween now. Love the chemistry between Rashad and Niyah. I love their personalities and what they represented and that's Black Love. Great Read !!☺

Once again excellent
Words can't express how much I enjoy reading this book the story line, the characters just an all-around great story of black love which I'm definitely here for. Rashad and Niyah are such the perfect match it's nice to see couples who meet and know what they want and follow through. On to 📖 three in the series.
