Definitely not my favorite AR.
I know I read these for the quick moving/guilty pleasure aspect...but this one was really quick moving and the insta-love was...well, kind of disappointing in the sense that
I felt kind of...robbed of all the AR goodness, sadly.
I would have been pissed if I had paid the $0.99 for it actually, but luckily I have KU.

Thankful For Her is by Alexa Riley. The blurb describes it as more of a Thanksgiving book but truly it takes place during both Thanksgiving and Christmas so this is perfect for both holidays. Truthfully, I loved this one. It’s probably the MOST insta-love of any of her books I’ve read. Still, if you believe or want to believe in love at first sight, whether in person or from a photo, than you’ll enjoy this!
Autumn is eighteen years old. Her mother has a habit of marrying for money, over and over again. The last husband, Neil, she married two years ago. Autumn really likes this one. He really seems to care about her. The first time Autumn saw Neil’s son’s picture, she fell in love with him. She just knew that he was meant for her. Only they haven’t met yet. But this Thanksgiving, Neil wants Autumn to come home for the holiday and finally meet his son.
Hunter Danvers can’t believe his father remarried so quickly after losing his mother and brother. His new wife is a gold digger and he can’t stand her. He certainly doesn’t want to meet her daughter. He’s sure she’s as much a gold digger as her mother. His father wants him home for Thanksgiving but it’s the last place he wants to be. So, he has a few drinks, maybe more than a few. What happened after that seemed like a dream. An angel came into his room and he fell in love with her. Only when he woke, she was gone. He has no idea who his angel was or how he can ever find her again.
This is insta-love on steroids with a touch of Thanksgiving and Christmas magic. But more importantly, it has a freaking cliff hanger! I don’t think I’ve ever read one of AR’s books that ended with a cliffy. But, she promises it will be continued for Christmas. It’s going to kill me to have to wait to see what in the world is going on. I tell you, when AR does a cliffy, she does it big! The sooner the next book comes out, the better. This one was short, sweet and I couldn’t help but to love it!

Another Alexa Riley book I enjoyed smutty sexy with a fairy tale feel to it and as its with this author usual style a quickie insta love, OTT everything but dam it if I didn't like it. I have to say the ending took me by surprise I'm curious to see what's gonna happen and where did those two characters come from and I'm positive it's gonna be something good. ❤️

I adored this short and sweet holiday tale. If you are an Alexa Riley fan, this is a must read. Packed full of cheese and smutty goodness, with a healthy dose of sweet.

Here's what you get folks: Short, sweet, babymaking fun with a side of family drama. That's Thanksgiving for you, right? We've all been there. One too many drinks with the family and ended up in bed with an angel from our dreams? Nope? LOL
The story is interesting, but a bit of a stretch. If you're an AR fan, you already know that. The epilogues are fantastic, but the ending is different and caught me completely off guard. I can't wait to see what these two come up with next!

I thought I would take a chance on AR again since I had to sit and wait for my darling children to finish up their afterschool activities. I didn't HATE it. But I had a HUGE issue with their first (and only) sex scene. The hero was drunk. He thinks it is a dream. He has NO clue who he is having unprotected sex with. <--- doesn't that just scream ROMANCE to you?
In fact, it takes him at the very least a month to figure out who she is and only because he sees a photo of her. Then she walks in the door (first time he is seeing her sober), and he falls to his knees and asks her to marry him?? They hadn't even had a single conversation at that point. The rolling my eyes was strong in this one.

Thankful for Her is pure fantasy and nothing more. It's the tale of an emotionally abused girl, who gets everything her heart desires at 18 years old, between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
It's best to read it with a mug of hot, spiced red wine, and just let your imagination run wild. There's nothing logical about Autumn's story. And the best part is I don't need logical. I just enjoyed the fantasy.

It's a cute holiday story and I was excited to read this one but since I found out it has a little cliffy at the end, I decided to wait for the next book.
The story is about Hunter and Autumn.
Hunter and his father, Neil had lost so much and were still hurting after what happened. Neil married Autumn's mom to protect her and take care of her knowing she's the one for his son. He also knew Autumn's mom is selfish and gold-digger.
I enjoyed it but I'd like it better if they had more time together in the story.
It has nice epilogues but with a little cliffy.

2.5 Stars This is the strangest AR read. I have enjoyed many of their books in the past but this one was just weird. It didn’t even seem like the same writers. That ending? Well I’ll definitely read the next because I need to know.

"Thankful For Her" is the story of Autumn and Hunter.
This insta-drunk-sex-love novel is a very Cinderella-esque Thanksgiving story with an innocent heroine, an angry hero, an evil mother, a kind father, some step-siblings taboo, angst, running away and HEA.
I adored the drama in the 1st half (which is so unlike AR books) but Id have liked to read more about the h and H when he finally meets her numero due and not just the "OMG I love you even though I only remember banging ya" which we got- we got bare minimal interaction between the two barring the epilogue.
Still a good read but I just wanted more..
The ending though...NEED MORE!

Apparently, he's her stepbrother and she's already waiting for him except he didn't know her. And suddenly he wants to claim her after they have sex. Huh... Beyond weirddd. Especially the surprise ending.

It was ok. Hero and heroine had one scene together and that's it. They sleep together while hero is drunk and next time they meet he proposes. That's far fetched even for AR. Epilogue was cute they have 2 kids and there is a cliffhanger.

Hace mucho que no disfrutaba tanto un libro de Alexa Riley.
Curiosamente no es un libro con tanto sexo como todas sus otras historias.
Simplemente se me hizo divertido, a pesar de ser tan ridículo, porque bueno en vez de ser amor a primera vista, aquí la prota se enamora del galán con solo ver su foto. Y cuando el la ve a ella por primera vez, estando borracho piensa que ella es un ángel.
Creo que es la primera vez que leo un libro de esta autora que termina en cliffhanger, no que me haya afectado o me tengo con ansias de saber más, pero igual no me lo esperaba.

Oh, I've missed stepbrother theme stories... and well AR reminded me how much I like them! Of course, once again they nailed the plot with a mouth-dropping end...
Hunter is the classic possessive, caveman we've used to read in AR stories and Autumn the sweet, introvert virgin heroine. I loved their chemistry and all the insta-love/lust that comes with it, plus the secrets and the finale discovery was blow-minding. The only thing that I'd love to see more in the plot was more steamy scenes, besides that, everything else was perfect!!
It's quick and very sugary just how I like it, so I definitely recommend it and I'm looking forward to reading the next story the authors are going to create!

This got almost soap-opera alike near the end which i haven`t encountered before in any of Alexa Riley Romances. I loved the hero Hunter Danvers,he was so bitter all the time but becomes furious after that night with his Autumn,thinking her a Dream and gets frustrated to Death about it,lol.
I will be reading the sequel,which follows the story of Hunter`s twin-brother Vance Danvers.

There’s instalove and then there’s INSTALOVE. Normally I’m a little weary of the latter. This book did it right for me. Did he propose to her after having a drunken one night hookup that he wasn’t convinced was real without even having a conversation? Yes. And somehow Alexa Riley made me okay with that. I love love loved her stepdad Neil and judging but the epilogue I think he’s about to get his happy ending.
The epilogue has me so twisted up I’m going to go buy the second book right now!
This was the last book in the Fall Into Love series by Alexa Riley and I’m sad it’s over. However, it totally did it’s job and I want to read the second book for every single one of those stories. Well done!

This was the last book in the Fall Into Love series by Alexa Riley and I’m sad it’s over. However, it totally did it’s job and I want to read the second book for every single one of those stories. Well done!

Over the top insta love, and I would have done only 3.5 stars but I kind of love the ending of a cliffhanger and mystery!!!
Hunter doesn't even know her, at all but yet is in love. I would have believed it if they had MET! But one night of drunken passion and he can't live without her. It was silly and the usual AR over the top.
Curious where the story goes with his family.

Thankful For Her is a quick, over the top insta-love story that will tug on your heart and make your thighs clench. Yet again, AR delivers us exactly what we are looking for. This time we get a quick escape with an alpha, secret baby and a lot of family love.
I know I should probably focus more on Autumn and Hunter but I just absolutely love Neil. He has such a huge heart and the things he did and the reasoning behind it had me absolutely swooning for him just as much as Hunter. The surprise that we get at the end has me dying to get my hands on the rest so I can find out what happens.
While Thankful For Her is that quick, dirty read that we are used to, I felt like there was a bit more of a story and background here and I loved it. We get the drama and we get the element of surprise.
If you are looking for a Holiday escape with delicious steaminess then this is the book for you. As always, you can't go wrong with an AR book!

They literally had one scene together. That's it. I'm not even kidding. He thought it was a dream and then weeks later finds out it wasn't and she's it for him and in the next scene they're in together (towards the end of the book) he tells her she's the one for him and he wants her to marry him. I get the insta-love fascination but can we have more of a story to go along with it? I liked the ending way more than the story itself.
