For Eva's first solo book it is pretty good. It is a don't touch my daughter, don't touch my sister kind of book. But of course the two main characters don't listen to anyone but themselves. This is a good story, but don't expected any surprises. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

Okay, this book wasn’t terrible, but there were some minor grammatical errors (one time, the author changed the male protagonist’s name from Adam to Aaron...) but they didn’t distract from the story. Would’ve like some more back story surrounding their childhood and history.

I was sent this yesterday afternoon and I finished it this afternoon. Eva Luxe knows how to write a story that grabs your attention at page one and maintains it till the very last page. Adam and Chrissy have so much chemistry between them and they are so so very good for each other. her Mum doesn't appear much in the story and I feel so sorry for her. I didn't like Gary at all as he just seemed to be awful to people because he could. As for Bianca, that poisonous excuse for a woman grrr I didn't like her at all as she was a dangerous user and manipulative for her own self promotion. Adam had obviously had a sad time in his teenage years and had a mum that he loved very much. he was a determined young man who always tried to do his best and to have time for fun and when he fell for Chrissy, he gave their relationship his all as she meant the world to him and he couldn't envisage his world without her. he knew that he was taking a professional risk by dating her but he was honest and in lust then love. Chrissy similarly was a young woman who knew what she wanted and went after him without hurting anyone, she was passionate about Adam but didn't neglect her best friend and other friends. A great story with realistic characters and lots of passion and full of emotions. I look forward to her next book :) I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. What a fantastic book! I absolutely loved Crissy and Adam's story. I have read the books Eva Luxe has co-written. This is the first solo book by her that I have read and I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. . The characters were well written and the story line was so good. It had just the right amount of hot and steamy scenes as well as drama and suspense. The chemistry between Crissy and Adam was amazing. I loved the drama centered around what was going on in the work place. I also enjoyed that Crissy's brother Jack was okay with the two of them being together. It was refreshing to see that even though Jack was somewhat protective of his sister, he wasn't like other brothers you read about that put up a fight about someone dating their sister. I loved how Adam and Crissy were to open with one another and were able to build a bond that others could not separate. Loved the HEA and look forward to reading more of Ms Luxe's books. Solo or co-written.

Good story 1 day read

This was a good read and had a good story line. I do wish it was longer only took me about 4 hrs to read it. This book had bonus stories but not part of the review. I have read other book by this author and liked them.
Overview. Adam was attending his best friend Jack's going away party. They have been friends since he was 6 and living across the street but his family had to move since his dad was dying. But once Adam seen Chrissy (jacks sister) standing next to the food table he was lost. She was beautiful. Chrissy took in her view of Adam and was shocked at how handsome he was. Adam was a new employee for her dads company too, so they had to be careful. But Adam and Chrissy's bond was strong since both of them had previously had crushes on each other. Will they find a way to be together or will Jack and his Father but a halt to their love and career.

Very well written book with great storyline and plot. A sweet romance book.

I love the couples journey towards their HEA. There is fear, drama, passion, emotions, hot scenes, twists and lots of chemistry in this amazing story. Instant attraction. It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. Love that it has an epilogue.
A story about overcoming fear and letting go. No spoiler here!

Lots of chemistry and hot scenes. I like the main characters and how they develop. The story flows nicely and it is very captivating from first to last chapter. The author has delivered a story that is worth the read!

Brothers best friend is off limits.. or is it?! Chrissy has been crushing on her brothers best friend Adam since she was 5.. but he moves away so has her crush until he moves back into town and is going to work for her father!!

Does Adam make his move on his best friends younger sister? or does he go by the bro code and not do anything.. but he shouldn't be scared of his best friend no he should be scared of his boss/ Chrissy dad!! do these old feelings surface? or was it just a crush?

my only omg moment was, did I read she fucked herself with a drumstick?

What can I say

Eva luve use books are awesome one brother is like playing hard to get but I understand because of what their dad went through and then the other brother he suffered his accident in the military but he thought had a friend in a doctor but he was just using him for his personal gain but he fell in love like his brother but he was he was being careful about it and the third brother fell in love as well but the thing with him he wanted to be in the in the military but he had PTSD he was afraid for the military finding out because then they were going to throw him out I loved this book I also loved extra story about willow and Darian and the crazy ex wife omg what some ex' s will do just to keep getting the money

This is Eva Luxe's first book written on her own and she did phenomenally. I think she created great characters and developed them well so the emotion and chemistry could be felt throughout the book. It is definitley an instalove story with a little second chance romance vibe. Add in a little mystery and this is a hot read. Very much enjoyed this one. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I have read a couple stories by this author when so collaborated with another author. However, this is the first solo written story of her I've read. I really enjoyed the relationship between Chrissy and Adam. They were great together in this second chance romance. There are people along the way that try to keep them apart. Will those people succeed or will love prevail? I recommend reading this one to see.

This is pretty good. Adam and Chrissy seemed to be well matched. Her sexual preferences were very kinky though for someone her age which made me question her experience. The story has a plot within the main plot which I think takes away the romance time for this couple. Adam is very straight forward about what he wants and fell for her very quickly considering the drama he had going on with his ex-fiancee' which was kind of weird yet the way that played out did add shock factor.

I enjoyed this book. Adam & chrissy have known each other for years as Adam is Jack's (Chrissy Brother) best friend. Chrissy has been in love with Adam since she was about 12. When his family suddenly moved away, she was heartbroken. But when he returned she couldn't believe have great he was! Adam also couldn't believe that Chrissy had grown to be such a beautful young woman. Things develope quickly between them and they struggle to keep their hands off each other. They share a hot, sexy but loving chemistry.

I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. This book rated about 3.5 for me. Somehow Adam did not come across as someone who had his masters, he seemed more like a frat boy which made it easier to accept his relationship with Chrissy. The drama around their story was good but probably could have been developed a bit more. Overall a decent book but not my favorite.

This book was sweet and so so very sexy. I haven’t read very many of Eva’s books so I’m not sure how she writes story lines, but...I think there might be a story with jack and Raina...hint hint. But anyways, Adam and Chrissy Were great together. Sometimes I felt like the story rushed or too many things were cut out. Though overall, I enjoyed the book. I would recommend. Happy reading!

This was a cute and short love story. Girl falls in love with her best friends brother, he leaves for years, returns to work for her father and falls for the sexy coed virgin. I was a little surprised that her brother was totally cool with them dating, then again it wasn't the same as the others where best friends fight. Chrissy & Adam had crazy chemistry and it was well written.

Not the typical brother's BF tale.
This book has a different twist on an old story. Adam and Chrissy's main opstical isn't her brother. There's so many other things and people in the way. Add a few suprises and things could go terribly wrong. (no spoilers)
The dialogh was a little rushed and a little to much "intamacy" for my taste, some what distracting, but, still a good read.
I would recommend this book if you like a sexy read.

I do not tend to rate/leave reviews on books I do not finish, but this one I couldn't get through for the life of me. I don't know if it's because I have been stressing lately with school and have put this book in the back burner or if it's because I did not like how it was written in my opinion. I really did try to finish this book, but the characters just got so annoying at times. Granted, I only got through 26% of the book, so I really didn't get that far into it.

They have a very hot chemistry and their scenes together really sizzle. A good plot and some twists grab and keep your interest. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

I was so happy for Chrissy when Adam finally noticed her and reciprocated her feelings after all those years. Jack was amazingly supportive of his sister's relationship with Adam. Bianca and Gary were literally criminal when it came to Adam.

This is a great short read. Eve Luxe found the perfect balance between characters and storyline and gave us one very interesting, hot, sexy read. I will have to keep my eyes out for future releases.
