I have loved this series so much over recent years that reading the last page of this book was inevitably quite bittersweet. It was wonderful of course, a fitting final book and one I found just as compulsively readable as the other five, but I'm also going to miss Scarlet and Ivy's adventures so much! I know I can (and will) reread them, but that first time journey is done.

It's been a privilege to experience these books - for me the first book was one of those ones that seems to be sparkling (in a metaphorical sense) and jumps out from the sea of others on the shelf. You somehow already know it's a book that is just right for you. After that I eagerly awaited the release of each book, a twenty-something year old rushing to the childrens section to grab my copy (though I'm quite honest about the fact that that area of book stores remains my go to. You are never to old for a well written, magical book) and reading it as soon as I had a spare few hours.

I'm excited to see what Sophie Cleverly does next, as she has become a real favourite of mine. For now though, I'm just grateful that she wrote the six Scarlet and Ivy books that I have enjoyed so much! 💖

THIS WAS THE LAST BOOK😭😭😭😭 WHYYYY???!!!? WHY DO GOOD BOOKS HAVE TO END???? WHY CAN’T THEY GO ON FOREVER????😭

I loved this book from the bottom of my heart!!❤️ IT WAS AS GOOD AS THE REST!!!! And hoooooo there was a big twist in the beginning of the book which SHOOK me!!!💕 I was really suprised!!!❤️ And trust me, you can’t predict this book’s ending🥶 It was really good but creepy!❤️

So this book was about a lot of things, enimies and angels😂 and I really lined the plot!!!💕 I loved the teamwork of the pupils of Rookwood school and that warmed my heart🥰 Even Penny was helpful😂 I think that Rose was bold again and ofcourse, Ariadne helped a lot….there were so many unexpected people’s entries❤️

My favourite characters are: Scarlet , Ivy, Ariadne, Mrs.Finch, Mrs.Knight, the twins’ aunts and ……Mrs.Fox😂

The best book in the whole series was the third book because there was sooo many shocking twists and….no spoilers😶❤️ And technically, the whole series was sort of connected…..and one of my favourite things was the BIGGG twist about the twins’ mom❤️

I love it soooo much!!!❤️ GO FOR IT!💕

This was a perfect end to a brilliant series, and actually one of the stronger books - I think for me it harked back to the first book, with looking for clues around the school and I really enjoyed that.

I also loved that we had some resolution for the twins family. And that the new whispers was the wider group. I especially laughed when poor Ebony was so confused by all the things she’d missed, it’s hard not to feel sorry for someone who is just hearing about all the past adventures while she’s being told them in a blasé manner! 😂

I am sad that the series is coming to a close but happy it managed to be so fun and so hopeful. 4.5 stars, and I will definitely be checking out Sophie Cleverly’s future works!

Reading last books in series is always a thing. In one way it means that I've really managed finishing a series (I'm not always that good at that...), it means I read the complete story of these characters and it also means that it's time to say goodbye. And I'm not that good when it comes to goodbyes, especially not when it's saying goodbye to characters and worlds I really loved. And this series is for sure one of those hard goodbyes.

Mostly because these books have been just so much fun. Each book had its own mystery, puzzles to solve and mean villains to defeat. Although a lot of those cases were quite predictable, this were clearly not whodunnits, it was still a lot of fun watching the characters figuring things out, planning, scheming and breaking rules. This book is not different. We have all that and so much more! It's really the sum of all the previous books.

In an amazingly nice way all the cases they've been solving in the previous books are coming back. All the villains have their part to play in this finale, all the things the girls have learned and discovered are being used here and small details from previous books are now coming in handy, or not. And even though this was maybe not the most spectacular case, it was the most sentimental one. Because just like the girls, I've grown really fond of the school and couldn't imagine it becoming flats!

What I really love about this last book, apart from the sentimental case, is the friendship between the different girls. In the previous books there was some fraction between the girls, naturally, but in this book they have one common goal. They put everything aside and they work together. Each and every character can use her own talents and without them having to be someone they're not they all play their part in solving this case.

I will miss this place. I will miss these characters and I will miss all the puzzles and riddles!

Although I was sad to see these Scarlet and Ivy books come to an end, this book was the perfect ending to their adventures.

I started these books over 4 years ago (when I was 9) and have been hooked ever since. It has been very exciting waiting for the next book to come out and reading the novels, so I hope I find another book series I liked as much as this one.

Hopefully Sophie Cleverly continues to write novels and book series because I would definitely be reading them. 💗

This book made me think about faith when in the book Scarlet and Ivy's fathers says "I am so sorry. I've let you both down."
The author is teaching us about faith because in this book Scarlet and Ivy have faith when their father says that he can help them even tough he has pretty much ignored them for most of their life, they do believe in him and he ends up helping them save their school.
My opinion about faith is that is is very important to have because if you don't trust anyone/have faith in them then they will not trust you back. I think that you need trust in everyday life e.g school, work.

I LOVE this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I could go on forever with exclamation marks!) It is amazing and it is like a mix between all of the other books in the series! It is so excited and when I started I was a bit like, I don't know if I am going to keep reading, but when I was about 2/3 of the way through the book and I was reading in the morning before getting up (I get up at 7.00 normally) and I was like, I just need to finish this book it is sooooooo good, and I was still reading at about 7.20!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is one of my favourite books EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brilliant book!

Loved it!
Unfortunately, this is the last book :( No more trouble. No more secrets.
No more evil teachers. The last secret was suspenseful (just like the others) and was wrapped up beautifully.
Thanks Sophie for these wonderful adventures ☺

A wonderful end to the story. It was good to have a resolution to the story of Scarlet and Ivy's home life as well. I'm a little sad to be leaving Rockwood School behind but can't wait to see what Sophie Cleverly does next.

The last book in the series, Scarlet and Ivy have one last mystery to solve. To save the school from being taken by Mr. Bartholomew’s son. With help of friends and unlikely allies they piece together who really owns the school and how they can save it.

This was literally my favourite I honestly was gripped entirely and I was captivated the whole time. I wanted so desperately to figure out how exactly the girls were going to solve it all and to save the school. It seemed impossible but they ensured that it actually wasn’t, anything is possible and they proved it.

I really enjoyed the girl all coming together creating a new Whisper in the Walls group so they could pull off the ultimate scheme. I really enjoyed it having the former enemies now becoming friends, a deeper friendship, a group that was needed, an old issue put in the back to solve a greater need.

The evil Bartholomew my goodness he was such a slime ball and I hated him the second we saw him enter the story. The girls didn’t hesitate to know something was up instantly and so thus began the biggest quest they set on and boy was it actually a challenge for them.

I was also so happy for the outcome for the girls in this book, it honestly had me emotional and a bit teary reading the ends of this book. Everything worked out, things they couldn’t ever have dreamt of came true, and my goodness was it beautiful.

This series has been incredible, each story really grips you in, though a couple of the books had an easier mystery to solve, well for me at least, though I have still enjoyed them throughly and grown to really love the girls so much. What a wonderfully created series, I hope others find these books and enjoy delving into the mysteries at Rookwood school.

THIS COULD POSSIBLY BE THE BEST (and the last D:) book of the Scarlet and Ivy series :((
Whyyyyy does it have to end?! There'll always be a mystery awaiting for the twins and the newly-found Whispers Society, and I wanna be there with them, to read along with them :(

In this book, the twins are faced with a problem far worst then before; the fact that the school might be closing... FOREVER. This announcement was made by Henry.. who turned out to be Mr. Barthelmow 's son. Will the newly-found Whisper Society find out a way to save the beloved (and old!) Rookwood, or will they find themselves devastated in once the school is turned to rubble?

I loved it as at the begining Ivy and Scaret would have done anything for that to happen but now they have made Rookwood school into a friendlier school and have made it home. As there school is in danger Mr Bartholomew son is here to get revenge for what Scaret and Ivy have done to his father
. As he plans to destroy the school Scaret and Ivy catch him at the last second as theyl have found the proof they needed to stop Rookwood School from bieng destroyed.

I am soo sad this is the last book but it was amazing!! I loved how they solved the problem of Edith and how their father was always trying to make up for lost time. Just reading the chapter where he stood up and shouted at her put a giant smile on my face. Really recommend this series for all ages, young or old. It will change your life!

This book was totally my favorite out of the series! Full of twists and turns, it definitely wraps up the series and makes you never want to put it down! It makes me wish there was another one after, but I also am SO satisfied with the ending! Shout out to Sophie Cleverly for writing the ENTIRE series!

I adore this series.
It's a great adventure. Starting from a mysterious school. Ending there too. There is nothing called magic here. So, the fact that I did read all the six books was a bit unexpected.
There is something special about the whole plot.
The reason why I don't give it five stars is that I didn't enjoy The Last Secret nearly as much as the other episodes.
The usual excitement was somehow missing in this one. Like, everything seemed predictable and Henry didn't have much of a character whatsoever. And I HATE that kind of villains. So ordinary. So boring. Apart from that, it was a goodread I suppose.

This book is the last of the scarlet and ivy book series, so i felt the need to write a review for this one.
So, this book was about the start of a new term in the school, but a new villain arrives: Henry Bartholomew. The son of the former headmaster. He wants to shut down the school, since he claims that he is the true owner of the state.
So, the twins should stop him, and they embark on their last adventure.
So, they with the help of their friends form a group(like their mother in the past) called whispers.
I adored this book so much, and i believe it was a great conclusion to a fantastic book series.
Though, i am very sad to let go of these books, but i know it’s a thing i have to do with every book i read.
They really have a special place in my heart.
I truly recommend this book series to you. It was such a fun and amazing ride.
