Bad Boy Santa

Rate this book
When she finds out who’s in the bright red suit, will she forgive me?

Liv Sanders is everything I'm not. Sweet. Kind. Beautiful inside and out. After six years photographing war zones, I'm empty inside. And now they want to put me in a red suit and a white beard???

I'm the world's worst department store Santa, but I stick with it because of her. As my chief elf, Liv is amazing, dealing with crying children and stressed-out parents while still managing to look hot as hell in her green tunic and red tights.

We work well together, but she doesn't know I'm the man who broke her heart all those years ago. Winning her back would take a true Christmas miracle.

Luckily, this Santa's known for being naughty, not nice. I've still got a few tricks up my big, red sleeves.

**Bad Boy Santa is a steamy romance short story with no cheating and a very happy ending.**

This is a good second-chance story. Liv and Jackson have a history, from childhood that did not end well. So when Jackson comes back into town and becomes the mall Santa while Liv plays the Elf. Little does Jackson know how much he hurt Liv back in the day. This a good, quick read with the Christmas theme. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

Jackson is home from the Middle East, struggling with the things he saw as a military photographer, which leads him to drink way more than he should. Olivia is a second grade teacher, struggling to pay bills & care for her ailing mother.
Jackson & Liv were best friends in high school, until prom night when he ruined everything, & she hopes to never see him again! Six yrs later, they find themselves together again, but Liv doesn't realize who he is, as he is dressed as Santa. They are working at the local department store during the holidays. This is his chance to clear the air with her, as he has never stopped loving her.
I loved Jackson & Liv together, they had great conversations, banter & she told the best stories to the kids, mesmerizing both the children & him. It was nice to watch things unfold as she found out who he really was. She was hurt, angry & frustrated with him, but open to his help & suggestions with her life. This was a sexy, steamy sweet short Christmas story, about finding lost Love & hoping to rekindle it. Enjoy

A short sweet romance of second chances. Olivia/Liv and Jackson: Liv is an independent woman taking care of her seriously ailing mother when she runs into Jackson after six years. Jackson a war photographer has traveled all over the world and has won awards for his work. Now they are working together at a store as Santa and Elf for the children. I admire Olivia for her strength for teaching elementary full time and caring for her mother full time. In high school Olivia and Jackson were inseparable until Jackson committed the unpardonable sin and then left without a word to Olivia. Jackson is to be admired that regardless of Liv's rebuff of him he never gave up on her. He eventually helped her make her dream come true and then hurt her again. A short read worth the time for second chances and for dreams to come true.

This story is short, Christmassy and a second chance romance. I have to admit, I found this story long winded in parts. This story is also a second chance romance. I wasn’t a fan of Jackson. He didn’t seem to care that he had hurt Liv. He was also a borderline alcoholic. I wanted him to stop drinking and act more mature. He was a grown man acting like a frat boy. I liked Liv. I liked he attitude and her story telling. She was really good with kids. My heart ached for her because of the stress she was under from having a sick mother. I did see some chemistry between Jackson and Liv but not much. I started to like Liv and Jackson as a couple towards the end of the story. When Jackson wasn’t drinking and he got his woman, I liked him. I liked that Jackson helped Liv with her dream of publishing her children’s book.

Santa and his Elf...4.5 stars!

What happens when Santa is on the naughty list? Well, this short story sure packs a punch. I loved Jackson and Olivia’s second chance at love.

Back in high school, Jackson broke Olivia’s heart with his betrayal. He never forgot about Olivia, and the awful thing he never got around to clearing up. But now years later, a little weathered and a bit jaded, Jackson is not about to lose Olivia again. Back in his small hometown, the award-winning photographer uses his savvy to help Olivia realize her dream of publishing her own book of Christmas Elf stories.

Bad Boy Santa is about redemption and a second chance at romance. A delightful holiday story you will sure to enjoy. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Great Christmas story!

I really liked reading this short Christmas story about forgiveness and redemption.
Johnson and Liv were best friends until something happened right before graduation.
Johnson is a world renowned photographer that has spent the last six years photographing war torn places. He drinks excessively in order to forget what he has seen.
Liv is a second grade teacher who loves life but will never forgive him for his actions six years ago.
When a friend asks him to play Santa at a department store, he agrees. Soon he finds out that Liv is the elf that helps Santa with the children. He doesn't let her know that it is him under the Santa beard. What happens when she finds out the truth?

Very Good Book

Liv is a second grade teacher who moonlights as Santa's elf. Jackson is a photographer who's working as Santa to forget the horrors of war he's seen and taken pictures of. He used to be Liv's best friend but he did something really stupid and screwed that up. She wants to write a book filed with her 'elf' stories but can't afford to hire an illustrator for it, so Jackson takes all different shots of Santa's workshop to help her out. One thing leads to another and he finally apologizes for hurting her so long ago. She accepts and they get their HEA.

The only thing I didn't like about this book was the length. It's totally way too short.

Olivia, Liv, is a second grade school teacher. For winter break she works at Reynolds’ Department store as Santa’s Elf.

Jackson is an award-winning photographer who is struggling to get it together after being overseas. His friend, Chris, offers him a job at the department store as Santa.

If you’re looking for cute, this is a cute short read. There is a lot of drama in such a short story. I think if you’re a young adult, you could relate better. For me, the maturity level is rather annoying.

Wonderful Story

Luv (Olivia) and Jackson's story was so good. You can't help from laughing as he tries to be so good and keep her from finding out who he really is. Till a kiss knocks away his beard and she discovers the truth. Which only ups the enjoyment of the story. Does he get girl? Can she ever believe him? Will love win or lose? High school friends to adult love after six years apart, hurt feelings that could have been cleared up by talking to each other, new trust again destroyed by the same person. But this time they will talk.

It Pays To Communicate:
By Korkoi -
This is a wonderful story about forgiveness and happiness. Jackson and Olivia were best friends in high school and were ready to take their relationship to the next step, but a misunderstanding caused them to breakup and lose touch for years. Unfortunately, when they meet for the first time after soma year, drama ensues and derails their friendship and budding romance. Fortunately, Jackson decides to take the bull by the horn and set the record straight, so they could get their happy ending. This book is worth an hour of your time.

Cute story, quick read

This was a cute story, lots of humor in it. I didn’t realize it was such a short read, but that just allowed me to finish it in a couple of days. They were best friends in high school until one monumentally stupid action happened after the prom. Six years later, he’s back in their hometown working as Santa and she’s his elf assistant. Will they be able to rekindle what was growing between them back in high school? I like the alternating first-person narrative.

A very special Christmas story

This is a really good second chance Christmas story that I highly recommend reading. Jackson and Liv are a great team as Santa and Elf but, without the costumes and stories they are trying to forget the pain and hurt of the past. It is an emotional Christmas when truths are revealed and Jackson and Liv's labor of love exceeds their wildest expectations.

Now Jackson just wants to recover from being in war zones and r exclaim the life of a small town resident and see if he can re-establish he connection with Liv.

Olivia & her former best friend meet again in the unlikeliest of ways: he's the new department store Santa & she's his elf! But can she find it in her heart to forgive him for the way he hurt her in the past? Will a team effort help her see him in a new light?

This was a quick, but cute second chance romance. Jackson was a hard to like hero at first, but as the story wove on and he and Liv got closer, I began to see how they fit together.

Loved the Christmas vibe. I recommend it.

Such a cute and romantic story! These two deserve a second chance, but he deserved the time they were separated for what he did to her. The way they worked together was so beautiful and sweet, their book is one I'd love to see myself. Can't wait for more from this author. This was pretty much as expected. A kinda sweet romance with a little bit of heat, sprinkled with a couple of laughs. It's very light, very fast reading. Took me about an hour to read it. That made for an hour's worth of mindless entertainment. Kinda like TV... but without any stupid commercials. :)
