Bo Alexander has his hands full as temporary alpha of his little clan in Bear Paw River.
But then she shows up.

A gorgeous, curvy—human—single mother with a shifter son in tow. Between the kid’s bodily function jokes and the mating heat sizzling from Jane, Bo doesn’t know which way is up. But he knows she’s hiding something. And he’s just the man to help her.

Jane has been running with Liam for too long now. She’s exhausted, scared, waiting for the day Seth finds her and drags them back to his pack. But Bear Paw River promises sanctuary…and love? No, she doesn’t have the freedom to open her heart. Besides, love is deadly.

It’s time for Bo to bear-up and save this woman and cub. But can he let her go when the danger has passed? Humans and grizzly shifters aren’t meant to be. Right?

Then again, crazier things have happened. Look at his sister. She married a wolf.

l have read both books in the series, and it just keeps getting better. The characters are lovable and most importantly real (I’m willing to suspend reality and accept that shifters exist.), and the plot keeps you anxiously turning the pages as the action unfolds and secrets are revealed. This was the perfect book for the holiday - sweet, intense, and romantic. Can’t wait to read more by this author! l voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I was privileged enough to receive an advanced reader copy of this book from the author for a voluntary and honest review.

Such a good read. It was fantastically well written. It was nicely paced. Had an interesting plot. As soon as I started it I couldn't put it down. Can't wait for the next story.

I loved book one but I think book two is even better. The story is well written and sweet with just the right amount of passion and action. Jane is lost and broken and Bo is the big bear she needs to find her power and her HEA

ANALYZE A SITUATION AND THEN CALMLY PROCEED

I am already a huge fan of this author under a different pen name, and as Everleigh Clark, she did not disappoint. Things I come to expect in her stories include some mystery, suspense, angst, playfulness and that wonderful quirkiness in her characters. She definitely included those traits in her new paranormal shifter series, along with acceptance of who her character is, and embracing that part of herself. As a series junkie, I am especially happy to see that this is part of a series but will read as a stand-alone. While the story ends nicely, it is also an intro to the next story in the series.

The plot will have Bo becoming protective of newcomers to Bear Paw Mountain, Jane, and her six-year-old son, Liam. Bo can sense that Liam is a shifter, and he loves the boy's exuberant personality. Jane is reserved, and he senses her fear and that she could bolt at any time. Bo’s grizzly bear wants her and calls her his mate, but Bo is afraid of hurting this fragile human.

Jane and her son, Liam, have been on the run from the Seth, a lion shifter, who fathered Liam. He
is a cruel and dangerous shifter, and he has already killed people she was close to. She knows he is searching for them and must protect Liam at all cost. Keeping him on medication to prevent him from shifting so Seth can’t scent him is becoming more difficult. She has moved from town to town, and her instincts are telling her she needs to leave again, sensing someone watching her and taking pictures.

Learning that people she likes and trust are also shifters will come as a shock, but also helps her see that not all shifters are bad. “Shifters weren’t bad. Alphas weren’t evil.” When she opens up to Bo, Ida, and Sam, she will learn she has allies in her corner, and they will protect her and Liam at all cost. Attending a picnic with shifters from Bear Paw River will help her see that these shifters are good people.

“He was Bo Alexander, Alpha of Bear Paw River, graced by the power of the goddess. This was his turf, his pack, his family.”

The story will have people from the first book, Bearly Shifted, and we will learn more about Zack and Nissa as they go visit his family. He is still working on leads to track his missing sister, Lizzy, and also a missing wolf from a Florida pack.

There will be some unexpected surprises that will come about in this book, and you will just have to read it and find out yourself. Also, the epilogue will be a lead in, into the next book in the series, Bearly Rescued.

The story is a roller-coaster ride with many twists and turns, solving one mystery and lead into another. It has a great cast of characters, plenty of intense moments, learning experiences, accepting responsibilities, new beginnings, and new relationships. Several intimate scenes are somewhat explicit.

On the run is no way for a single mother with a six-year-old son to live. But that's Jane's life. She's scared, tired, and so worn out. When she reaches Bear Paw River, she may have finally found some peace. The small town looks like paradise. That is, until Bo Alexander wanders into her life. Temporary, and reluctant, alpha to his clan, Bo's enchanted by Jane. Who wouldn't be? Gorgeous, curvy, she's everything he's ever wanted. And he's a natural with Liam. There's just one problem. Jane's human. Bo isn't. Even though his bear tells him Jane's their mate, there are so many reasons why she can't be. And Liam? There's something very special about him too, besides the fact that he loves fart jokes! But mating fever's in the air, and both Bo and Jane feel it. Jane's terrified. She can't let herself love. She certainly can't tell anyone why. But Bo's pulled in despite his reservations. He cares, maybe too much. And Jane feels the attraction too. When her past returns to haunt her, it's not just Jane who's threatened. Things come to light that no one could ever have seen coming. Can Jane survive the evil that's finally tracked her and Liam down? With so many secrets and the darkness surrounding them, are Jane and Liam going to have to run yet again? Can anyone help them? Will Bo lose his chance at his fated mate? One thing is clear. It will take a miracle of monumental proportions for anyone to survive!

Everleigh Clark has done it again! The second book in this series is every bit as delightful and charming as the first. Bo and Jane's relationship, the highs, lows, uncertainty, mysteries, and secrets, are the very heart of this story. But the supporting characters add so much personality, zing, and absolute fun. The story just wouldn't be the same without Rory, Amy, Sam, Nissa, Zach, and the other denizens of Bear Paw River. There are mysteries within mysteries that hold your interest from beginning to end. There's nothing about this story I didn't love. Everleigh Clark has done a superb job of creating a another story where anything and everything is possible. Congratulations Ms. Clark, on another amazing installment in this fascinating series!

One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, think hard before buying any book you know you won't enjoy. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the author. She works extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

If you like a good Shifter Romance, then Bear with Me is going to be right up your alley. The author has written a great storyline that will have you laughing, sighing and at times wanting to just scream. As for the characters, they couldn’t be more delightful and that includes both the main characters as well as the supporting cast.

As for the main characters, I’ll start with Jane. She is a human on the run from her ex with her son in tow. She is a strong woman, much stronger than she gives herself credit for. Jane doesn’t trust anyone and sadly lives her life in a state of turmoil and fear, her only priority is her son and keeping him safe from the monsters that are his father and his people. As for Liam, Jane’s small son, he is a hoot, keeping his mom and those around them in stitches with his jokes and zest for life. Last but not least we have Bo. He is a bear shifter that is the alpha over the Bear Paw River clan. Bo is what you would call a gentle giant. He’s a big man that wouldn’t hurt a fly, unless provoked.

When Bo first sees Jane his bear senses her as his mate, however he is a big bear and fears he would hurt her if he tried to mate with her, not to mention he senses her fears. Bo attempts to stay in the shadows, but that doesn’t last long when his bear senses Liam and Jane need him. Can he earn Jane’s trust? Can he convince her to let him in so he can protect her and Liam? The banter between Jane and Bo and Bo and Liam will keep keep you smiling and laughing as you turn page after page. This is a wonderful 5 star shifter read that I can’t recommend enough. Kudos to Ms. Clark for an excellent book and series and this read is anxiously awaiting the next book from the Mates of Bear Paw River series. 2 Thumbs up for a book and series I suggest one-clicking asap. You won’t be disappointed.

Bear With Me is action packed, emotional, sexy and, at times, very funny. The second book in the Mates of Bear Paw River proved just as good as the first one, and brings the threads in this series a bit further along – giving more information on one thread, and giving us another one to follow as well.

Bo and Jane make an interesting couple. One sure of himself, even if he doesn’t really think he should be more than a temporary alpha for his pack.. the other afraid, on the run and finding trust to be an elusive thing. Liam will steal scenes and hearts along the way as well. There are many twists and turns in this story. Some you may see coming, but not all of them. One very nasty villain, a man and woman perfect for each other and a little boy who deserves to just be himself and not his mom’s protector. We’ll also get chapters on Nissa and Zach from Bearly Shifted, as their story continues and those threads weave them into this situation as well Fast paced, full of action, sizzling sexy times and secondary characters you’ll enjoy getting to know. I enjoyed myself in this world once again and would recommend Bear with Me and the series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader.

I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

Filled with action and love.

Bo is the bear shifter brother of Nissa from the last book. He is the youngest and acting alpha of the clan. He wants to wait for his older brother to come back so he doesn't have to become alpha.
Jane and her six year old son Liam have been on the run for seven years from her ex boyfriend. She does everything she can to keep Liam from shifting so that his lion father can't find them. She moves every few months. She is now waitressing in Bear Paw.
Bo's cousin Sam works with Jane. When he sees Liam at the restaurant, he knows that he is a shifter but not what kind. He also senses that Jane smells human. And that she is afraid of something. His bear is reacting to her but he wants to ignore his bear because if he mates then he will become the full-time alpha.
Jane has people stalking her so Bo takes up watching over her and Liam. Liam is a cute, protective, and funny little boy.
There is plenty of action going on in this story as well as leading into the next one. Zach and Nissa also have a few chapters in this book, so their story continues.
Love the direction we are heading in this series. I also enjoy the drama and adventures that take place. Looking forward to Izzy's story next.

Holly Gods what a book! This was an amazingly well-written
tale. It flowed so well, I just could not put it down.

This is Bo and Jane's story, well that’s not true it is Liam’s
story too. And man I fell so in love with Liam he is such a
sweet and fierce little cub. I think my favorite part was he
when he wanted permission to say the F word. Parents
being parent’s jumps to conclusions sometimes it's not what
you think it is. Oh how I love all the little jokes Liam tells.
And Liam has a secret; he keeps telling everyone he does.
But Jane has a secret to and it's a really good Secret she
doesn't even know what it is. So when he needs Jane she
is his mate but he also is aware she's been hurt. So he does
not want to push her. But when someone takes her son he
will move Heaven and Earth to protect her and her child. Oh
boy is this monster in for surprise from Jane. Now I'm not
going to tell you these little secret you'll have to read the
book to find out.

Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you
enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book,
please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it
when you do; they value your opinions too

Jane is on the run with her six year old son and is trying to stay hidden from the boy's father. He was a lion shifter who was emotionally and physically abusive. Now she's working at a small diner in Bear Paw Ridge and waiting for the moment she and her son might need to run again. Except Bo, the alpha in Bear Paw Ridge figured out nearly immediately Jane is his mate. But as Bo tries to befriend and court her, he also can sense something looming from her past. And quickly that past comes calling and Bo fears that Jane and her son Liam may run again he will have lost them.

This book was such a fun read! Bo was one of the sweetest alphas I've ever read. The connection he had with Jane was evident, but what really made me fall in love with him was how much he cared about Liam. Freaking adorable and he had me swooning all over the place. There was a bit of steam between Jane and Bo and of course plenty of drama with the storyline, but overall this was just a good, sweet story that will leave you feeling warm and furry... I mean, fuzzy.

Just so you know, I have a slight addiction to shifter books and am very picky about authors!
The first book in this series was really good so I was excited to read book two! And my oh my, this one was even better!
Jane is a single mother with a slight problem, her son is not quite what you'd expect from a six year old! Guess that's what you get when he's a shifter!
Bo, oh yeah Bo! Where do I even start? He already had my attention from book one and the way this one started I was a big puddle of goo just reading about him! Is he going to be able to resist Jane? And his bear, can he keep him under control or is the allure of Jane too strong?
The whole story grabbed me and kept me completely involved from beginning to end! I just couldn't put it down and I would LOVE to have more from this world in the future! Just saying, if you like a story that will keep you involved from beginning to end, this is the one for you!

Let's start off with this is book two of the series, and book one should really be read before this. I didn't which left me feeling like I was missing something, since the previous couple had whole chapters to themselves.

Jane is on the run with her six year old son, Liam. Running from Liam's father, a lion shifter that left not just emotional scars but physical ones as well. Now she is in Bear Paw River working at a diner, and barely getting by, scared and just waiting for the next moment when they have to run again. Bo is the alpha of Bear Paw River and knows from the moment he talks to Jane that she is his mate, but he knows there is something more going on and has to take his time. While he tries to start a courtship of sorts with Jane, her past comes back to attack, can Bo keep her safe or will she run again?

This has a bit of drama, a sexy time scene, and some cute big bear and little boy moments. I give this 4 stars.

I loved reading this book, absolutely adorable to read. This is book 2 in the paw river series and if any thing better than the first.

Jane and her son Liam are on the run from her ex, he is a shifter lion, son of an alpha and what he wants he gets.
Bo is Alpha of the Paw River shifters, and has noticed Jane, and has acknowledged that she is his mate, but he has to go very carefully she is very afraid, but of what he has yet to find out. Her son Liam he noted is also a shifter but what he is he dosnt know.
Jane has Liam on medication so he cant shift, she dosnt want everyone to know what he is she thinks everyone in Paw River are just normal people.
Soon Bo finds out what Janes secret is and he is not a happy camper. He will protect, she is his and nobody hurts his mate.

This story is funny in parts, and it was also great to keep on reading about Nissa and Zac who are still looking for his sister
A must read for all.

Action, romance, passion, and a wonderful little mystery. These are some of the elements that have gone into this compelling story. I’d started falling in love with Bo in the first book, with the way he looked out for his sister and all of their family. I was pretty sure Jane was going to be special, too. She had that fierce, mother-protecting-her-young responsibility surrounding her. But Liam, he stole the show. This spunky, too-wise-for-his-years kid was probably my favorite character in the whole book, possibly even the whole series (so far). I loved that we get to check in on Zach and Nissa occasionally throughout the book. And the set up for the next one means I can’t wait to get my hands on it. This wasn’t a long read, but I enjoyed every moment this book held me in its thrall.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.

Bear With Me is the perfect sweet shifter romance. It’s the kind of book you pick up and are immediately lost in a world of sweet and sexy shifters who would do anything for their mates. Top that off with one of my absolute favorite things to read, single parents, and you’ve got a book so sweet you can’t help but smile through every bit of it.

Between the sweet romance of Jane and Bo and the absolutely adorable bond with Jane’s son and Bo there was no way to not fall head over heels for the man. Bo was completely perfect! Kind, sexy, and protective he was everything Jane and her son needed in their lives. His patient and calm way of wooing Jane was just so perfect. After all she had been through Bo was the perfect mate for her! I had so much fun reading this and I cannot wait for the next in the series.

Grizzly-shifter Bo comes to the Rescue!!

Grizzly-shifter Bo Alexander is temporary alpha of the clan in Bear Paw River. When a gorgeous mother with a shifter son comes to town, he can see she is in trouble and she is his mate… but if he takes a mate he must accept the full power and responsibility of being the alpha of Bear Paw.

Jane has been on the run for too long. Nightmares and danger at her heels has taken its toll. She must prevent her son Liam from shifting because then his father Seth could easily find them and they would lose their freedom.

Sweet romance, great clan dynamics, and an alpha that is willing to give his all. Excellent read!!

I enjoyed this series. Jane moved to Bear Paw to get away from her evil ex. He was abusive and a lion shifter. She just wanted to protect her son and keep him safe. Liam was so close to shifting that she had to keep giving him something to suppress it. But she has made friend's with Sam. A no nonsense tough woman, a bit goth, and all heart. But it's Sam's cousin Bo that she has eyes for. Bo is the alpha here and Jane is his mate. He keeps thinking that he would hurt Jane because he is a shifter and she is human. Thing's take a big turn.

I have to say I wasn't surprised at the outcome. I was glad. And the fact that we got to still have Nissa and Zach still in the story is great. I love how the story keeps tying up loose ends. I cant wait to read about Sam.

This book was an absolute pleasure to read. It contained all you could want in a paranormal romance. There is an alpha bear shifter that does not want to be the Alpha of his den, a human female that is scared of shifters and a mischievous, adorable little boy that just wants to run and play with friends. Bo, Jane and Liam face many obstacles before they can learn to accept the emotions they feel for each other. This story contains laugh out loud humor, tense suspense, shifter fights, and surprising revelations. It was a cannot turn the pages fast enough story. I thoroughly enjoyed Everleigh's book, and I highly recommend this very entertaining read.

Bo isn't looking for a mate but when he see Jane, he KNOWS this is his mate. Jane is on the run with her son, from her crazy ex!! The story is exciting and filled with twists and turns that kept me reading until the wee hours of the morning. In fact, while I loved the first book in this series, I loved this book even more. I want to find a "Bo" for myself. And the little surprise towards the end took me completely by surprise. Loved it!!!!! Now I want the sister's story and I can't wait to read it!

Jane is tired of running. She has tried for months to stay hidden and keep her son safe. When she meets Bo, she thinks maybe her running is over. Bo knows this woman is his mate but she is scared and he doesn’t want to push her. They spend time together and get to know one another. When danger comes for her, Bo will do everything is his power to keep her safe. This book was a grey read. It has some really amazing twist that you won’t see until the end. Excellent writing.

This book is short, fast paced and action packed. I have wanted to read this book since finishing the first book of the series. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I liked Jane and Bo. I liked them together and was rooting for Bo to give in and claim his mate. I liked the angst and danger in this story. I will admit that I did predict what/whom Jane was. That didn’t take any of my enjoyment, I loved this story. I loved how protective Liam was of his mama.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I need book three, bearly rescued, now!

This story is even better than the first one. I enjoyed getting to know Bo, Jane and Liam. Their story is so hot yet sweet. Liam is such a character. The story will make you smile, groan and even laugh out loud. I love getting a peek into previous characters too. This story is a well written, creative paranormal story. Good paranormal series

I don't read a lot of paranormal--and I don't always like it when I do, but this is good series so far. The books could be read as stand alones, but go better together and should be read in order. I enjoyed this installment and look forward to more.

Slow development. Jane and her 6 y/o son were hiding from her obsessive lion ex. Bo took notice of them and spend time with them. Apparently she and his son were wolf shifter and together they fought Seth the lion. Then the bear and wolf mate. Huh
