Got to love Paul. Onesimus was a runaway slave who robbed his master, Philemon, and fled to Rome. While in Rome, Onesimus encountered the apostle Paul, who was serving time in prison. Paul converted Onesimus to Christianity. Paul sends Onesimus back with another disciple and two letters, this is his letter to Philemon. It is really good and short letter that encourages Philemon to except Onesimus take back as a brother.
