Faith has been at the Graces’ stables for as long as Josie can remember, and was even the first horse she ever rode. But Faith is an elderly mare now, and needs rest and a gentle owner. There are a few options for Faith, but Josie is not happy with the choices. She can’t lose Faith. . . .

This book was very short!! I read it on 1 hour. It was a little bit easy for me, but I still liked it. It is a good book for maybe second graders. I wished it ended a different way but all in all it was a good book🐴
I rated this book 4 stars because it was really good, and I really liked it. it was amazing because it really takes you through Josie's Journey of selling her childhood horse. She goes through lots of possibilities and then finally decides on Jill to sell Faith to. My favorite part of this book was when Josie and Jill were in her room talking about faith, and Josie really liked Jill and thought she would be a great home for her, but then she said she wasn't sure because 1. Faith would be lonely and 2. Faith wouldn't get exercise and wouldn't be ridden because of the car accident that Jill got into. but then, when Josie tells her that, Jill exclaims that it is ok because there is another horse there and another rider will be able to exercise faith. I liked it because it was really sweet, and it got you hanging on the edge of your seat. you thought that the book was going to end and Faith wouldn't be sold, but then all of a sudden she can be sold to them and everything's ok. You would like this story if you like stories about horses, horseback riding, or stories about kids.

I love, love, love horses and these books are so incredibly beautifully written. They have such an inspiring storyline with great a great message for the readers. One of my favourite childhood "horsey" series.
I like horseshoe: keeping faith book because I think everyone should no how it feels to loose something very dear to them. But when they gave faith to Jill's field that really hurt Josie and at the end she had to hide them from Mrs.. Grace.
I was hoping this would be a simple but pleasant read - and it was. I enjoy reading well written, simple books like this as a filler while searching for a more mature horse novel or while reading more involved, demanding books. Cute story. I plan on reading the rest of the trilogies.
