The Love Child

Rate this book
Hawk fell deeply in lust for Jade, his stepsister. Unfortunately, she was just sixteen at the time. And she was looking up to him as her big brother.

He went abroad and just came back for her debut. After the party, he planned to go back to work. But he saw a scene that made him mad with jealousy, Jade had a boyfriend.

Hawk got drunk and invaded her room. The room was in darkness. Jade responded with an answering lust. He took what was offered but with a heavy heart. Her lust was for the boyfriend, not him.

After that fateful night, he never came home again. Until the news of Jade being a single mom...

When he saw the precious little baby boy, he knew that sinful night had bore fruit. But how could Hawk own his son?

I got to 20% and had to stop 😖 this is some of the worse writing I’ve ever read. Perhaps it’s a very poorly translated book or English is not the author first language. The female lead seems very child like despite being 16 at the start of the book. Definitely won’t finish this book.
And I just found out that almost all of the 5 star reviews are made by the author herself. 😡 That’s just not right

I love how the author describes and writes the steamy scenes. I only wanted a quick dirty read, this book was able to "give it" if you know what I mean.

DNF

This was just awful. The writing was bad, the story was all over the show. I couldn't work out what the fuck was real and what was a dream half the time. Nor did I care to find out.

Just... no.

Okay read

The story is about a step sibling romance. The 16 year old girl seemed way to innocent and the brother was an a** like usual. I couldn’t really get to much into the story due to not really understanding their background. I did enjoy the acceptance that the mama gave and the sense of family. I really wouldn’t consider this book to be “erotic” either. The story line was okay and it kept me til the end.
I believe the book was originally written in a Spanish language due to the rough translation. But thankfully I work with Hispanic people so it’s easier for me to understand. Reguardless it’s a well written story.

This is a new to me author. The books had many grammatical errors throughout. This is one reason I gave it 3 stars. If the author had Beta readers, it would assist in catching them. The author's job is to focus on writing.
The content within the story was great. The characters were developed well. The story did flow through a steady timeline. I would read the author again. I can read past the minor issues to get to the story only if it was written well.

This was just so wrong on so many levels I don't even know where to begin.

First chapter was rushed. So many stylistic mistakes. And so naive! Primitive plot... If I were horny 14 y.o., then maybe. But at the age of 25 I expect more. And this one was just not it.

I really couldn't read the whole thing. I flew over dialouges. And well, disliking just grew... Trashy little thing. Sorry, it was really bad.

I really wanted to like this story. But I'm fairly sure that it is originally written in Spanish or another language besides English because it comes off poorly translated. I had to DNF, I couldn't handle the seemingly uneducated linguistics. When your characters sound like toddlers it's a problem. Toddlers talking about sexual relationships is an even bigger problem. I need someone to re-translate this story inorder to enjoy it.

The love child

When I start to read a book I like to finish it....so I persevered with it.
The story line was good but I disliked the gramma. It was as if it had been translated from another language and at times it didn’t make sense.
Maybe if it was edited correctly I may have enjoyed it more.

Do not waste your time and money...

It was hard to read. The spelling, the grammar and the story itself was horrible. I thought it would get better but it got worse. Hard to follow the story timeline because it was all jumbled..

The synopsis was good and I really wanted to like this book but I could not get further than location 64, it was painful. There was too much wrong to ignore and read through, it needs a good amount of editing and reviewing. I'm hopeful this is fixed because this book has potential.

?

The story was all over the place, the wording was terrible and it made not much sense. I had hoped for it to be better and I have it that chance by reading it to the end, but it was just bad.

Love thats Taboo

2 stars. The book needs a lot of editing and rewrites to better translate the language barrier. With that said and a few beta readers this book has potential

Enjoyed

Needs some editing, but I liked the characters. Nice short story about two people who think they can't be together, but are meant for each other

Happy Ending! Love the heroine and the hero. Although!!! I would add some more chapters if I could insert a few problems. I think it's too calming. (I love how it is.)

*spoiler*

Hero had a boner when he first met the heroine. Jade is childish, she liked him. Hawk left and when he came back, he's cold with other women. He'd do it with anyone who is willing and he has no feelings. They are totally not for each other but it was a happy ending.

Young heroine and old hero (not too old) - good story flow. 4/5 stars for me.

Very good for me. I took 1 star out of five because of the style. I'm just very particular with the writing style. Definitely 5 stars for every love scene though.
