Fallen Angel

Rachel's terrible week is about to get much worse. Romance is the last thing on her mind as she drives home from another desperate day at work, and when a strange man strays in front of her car, she cannot avoid hitting him.

But Thedriel is unusual in more ways than one. Rachel finds herself making decisions no streetwise single girl should ever make. When she feels compelled to invite him back to her place, the evening takes a very strange turn.

Just as she realises that no other man could possibly match Thedriel's unique gifts, he disappears, leaving her bereft. But as she convinces herself that it was all just a dream, he shows up in the least likely place.

Fallen Angel.... This book attracted me with the title... I am a big thing of anything that deals with Angels especially Fallen Angels. Will this be the love story of all times? Will she fall in love with the "Fallen Angel".

This was a delightful romantic short story with a steamy, erotic scene. I really enjoyed reading this story and it had a nice twist at the end!

I so so wanted to give this a great review, especially after reading this blog post on reviewing, which is very well put. But unfortunately I just didn't like Fallen Angel. Let me be clear though - it's not that there was anything particularly wrong with the story. It's a little cliche, but otherwise it's simply that it wasn't to my taste stylistically or, to be honest, sexually - it is not especially explicit but it is mildly erotic and I admit this is where I rolled my eyes a little. I would imagine it might be aimed at a slightly older woman than myself - I hope that isn't too indelicately put! Thanks anyway for the freebie.

What did I just read? Ah my precious 10 minutes were wasted. The whole story was just so absurd.
