Makayla's Journey continues with her, Clara and Gage on the road again. This time they are searching for answers, more survivors, and, most importantly, Logan.

Finding more survivors than any of them are prepared for, they are surprised to find two policemen willing to pitch in and help with everything.

But, there is one thing none of them could anticipate, the Freshies are getting intelligent. They have begun talking to their intended meal; which is frightening to say the least.

After finding Logan, Makayla isn't willing to let him go again, but is faced, yet again, with the differences between the two. How can a human and a hybrid make it together?

Can Makayla be the key to solve the mysteries of the zombie virus or will everything she has been fighting for blow up in her face

Cora A Murray is a pen name I devised from the love of two great women, my mother and my oldest sister, who may no longer be with us, but will reside in my heart forever.
I'm a mother of two adult sons, my oldest passed away in March (Jonathan July 17, 1983- March 8, 2020) and the grandmother of a handsome grandson and two beautiful granddaughters. I have been married for the past thirty-eight years to the same wonderful man. I've always been an avid reader and with a push from my best friend I decided to start writing. First came shifters, then zombies, and now I'm on to many different topics. Who knows what's next, I have so many worlds left to conquer.

This book was Action Packed! From word Go it was full on with Mak and the gang in desperate search of finding shelter away from the Zombies and freshies and finding what little survivors along the way.
This book picks up where book 1 finishes and I loved the fast pace of this read. Mak showed such strength and courage to everyone but at the same time she crumbled with heartache and dispair only to pick herself back up remembering words her father has spoken to her in earlier times.
Mak is adamant she is the cure to anyone infected by the zombies having been bitten and scratched but not infected by it. Hell bent on making the crazy Doctor help her get an anti venom “so to speak” drives her to keep going and having the strength of Logan by her side once more.
This book ended on a MASSIVE CLIFFY.... but lucky for me I love cliffys!
I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Makayla and her friends are moving on looking for survivors and Logan. They hit a multitude of zombies on the way. They’re getting stronger, smarter, and even more terrifying. They’re almost human in some ways. I love the evolution of the zombies in this story and the strength and brains of the group; especially Makayla. Aside from the we meet new people and find out some interesting information for the these survivors and the future of mankind. Throughout the story there is loss, action, gore, and hope. The Author leaves hanging with intense suspense about what’s to come. I can’t wait to read more.

Oh oh oh. I am going to say that this is my favourite read for a while. Cora has really got a hit
Makayla continues on her journey looking for survivors. She finds some new comrades along the way. We also catch up with the old gang.
Can Makayla help rid the world of freshies?. Is she the secret? Can she find her true love and save him?
This book has it all. Love. Gore. Action. Edge of your seat moments and oh so many emotions used during my read.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I couldn’t put this book down. Absolutely love it. Can’t wait for bk 3.

Love Love Love this book!

I almost want to say it was better than the first book but then I think no it was definitely just as good and want to get on to the final book and see if it is just as good as the first and second ones. I'm glad I waited until the final book came out to read this series or I would go crazy with wap. Cora definitely knows how to write such an amazing zombie apocalypse. I am drawn in from beginning to end. It has everything you could want in it. I even cried. Well on to the final chapter of Mak's story.

I loved book 2! Couldn't put it down! The twistiness, the scary zombies, and...boom! Logan is back! Yeah my main man is back in action. He shows up and I am in shock. Some of the stuff that happens to him is just absolutely crazy and the zombies are getting smarter, which just makes it scarier. Either way, this is a great follow up to the first book and the end is a total cliffhanger. I really can't believe how it ends and am hoping for the best for the characters.

I read the first one and really enjoyed it. Continuing the journey was not a hard ship. With tons of action, some romance and a group of characters that are doing the best they can to survive a world that has fallen. I think the author is awesome when it comes to giving these characters the justice they deserve. They are likable and you can’t help but be hooked to the plot line. That ending...... let’s just say, I need more, like yesterday. 4 Stars #2OCCJD

Smart zombies. What!! It’s true! The zombies are somehow evolving and wow does it lead to a ton of head splitting, entrail spewing, foul smelling, action-packed adventure. Makayla is a superb fighter with great instincts that follow her into this book, which picks up where book one left off. And Logan *sigh* so glad to read him in this story. He’s so stubborn and I just love him. 🖤🖤 I cant wait to read the next installment in the series.

Makayla's story continues. She has left the security of her home to search for Lucas and any others survivors that may be out in the world with the zombies. There are also the freshies, who are becoming more and more advanced as they are turned. As the story develops, there may be a cure available, but what will need to happen to manufacture it. This was a good read. I enjoyed it. I look forward to reading the next one.

Decent but could have been better. The writing was slightly disjointed with misspellings peppered here and there. The main character could have been fleshed out better. I rate a book as if I wanted to see it made into a movie. Not for this one. Action is plentiful. There's a whiney kid who should not be that way after two years living in the apocalypse. She grates my nerves with her clinginess. The ending seemed a bit abrupt. I'm hoping the next volume will be better.

Loving this series

Mak's journey continues in the second book , non stop kick azz killing zombies. Awesome read the characters and storyline are so well-written that I'm looking out for freshies. I'm so hooked on Cora's books she is an amazing author. Highly recommend this series!!! Can't wait for the next installment.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series, so I was very happy to start this one.
It's just as good as the first book and continues Mak's quest.
The group has grown and the zombies have developed intelligence, so surviving is continuing to be a challenge. A challenge that Mak and co., are determined to win!
Roll on Book 3, I can't wait!!!

I have to be honest. This books does not hold my interest. I am not a zombie reader, With that being said.... This book is written great. The story line stay true and There really is nothing bad with this book. I however, do not like zombies. This author does great work and I would definitely recommend anyone who does love zombie books.

This is part 2 of the story. You need to read part 1 or you are gonna be confused. Mak has made it this far and she knows how to survive. But things start to go wrong. Then she is bit. Normally a death sentence, but she doesn’t change. Now she and the survivors she’s picked up try to make it back to the original group in hopes Mak maybe the cure to all this.

I loved the first book in the series and was so excited to read this one. I loved this book just as much as the first. Makayla continues her journey and now there are smart zombies. Say What!! There could be a possible cure. (No spoilers!) This is another seat of your pants thrill ride from the first page until the last and I loved every single page of it.

Great 2nd book in series!!

I loved this book. A wonderful change from most of the zombie genre. Focus is more on the survivors. I'm glad this isn't real as her zombies are so freaking scary!! I am anxiously awaiting the next book.

Surviving Earth is a genre that I don;t usually read, but I find the way that the author writes this story to be really interesting and has me hooked by the storyline. I enjoyed the way thats this story continued on from the last book.

The pace picks up in this book. A couple of confusing POV changes threw me out of the story for a bit but the general chaos was irresistible and drew me back in.

This is the second book in this series, and i thoroughly enjoyed it, more than the first! More characters are introduced, more hair raising situations occur and Makayla finds herself making super hard decisions to ensure the survival of her ragtag band. The zombies are evolving in ways no one thought possible, and when Makayla and her family are threatened, who will make it and who will become a freshie??
This does have a cliffhanger, so I am hoping there isn't a long wait for the next book.

An insanely gripping fast paced read! I want more! As Makayla’s Journey continues more friends are made and lost. With the newly evolved freshies looking more human and able to communicate; the danger is even greater! Heading back to base is the next logical step. Testing needs done to see if Mak has the cure to “save what remains of the human race.” With the enemy knocking down their front door, Mak will not be detoured in seeking answers and protecting her loved ones. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
