Yasmin Weizmann, a bestselling author and recently divorced mother, is all packed and ready to leave to Greece seeking inspiration for her next book. Inspired by the rich history of Greece, Yasmin wastes no time in coming up with possible plots for her new book. On her tour bus, she begins to notice her “young and handsome” guide- Agelus Dionisio. Agelus and Yasmin hit it off as they share a common interest in art. Still reeling from her divorce and bearing in mind her son, Yasmin, pushes Agelus away.

Fairly early on in the book, Yasmin figures out the plot for her next book. Her new book is a love story situated in the midst of the Israeli war. One night, in a hotel, Yasmin finds an extremely attractive stranger- Nikos Vallanis who literally takes her breath away. The plot becomes quite unsurprising from this point on, but not in a mundane way, of course. Yasmin works diligently on her book while continuing her romance with Nikos who, she later finds out is a rich business man. Eventually, Yasmin is torn between her love for Nikos and returning to her life in Israel.

The book is written entirely from Yasmin’s point of view. The plot, although utterly predictable, is passionate and dramatic. “Between the Words”, written by Linda Maze, is an adult romance that I would recommend to anybody who appreciates a good chick flick with a twist. At certain points, I caught myself wishing that the author would tell us more about Yasmin and how she dealt with her divorce rather than just focusing on Yasmin’s love story with Nikos. This book may not have a page turning plot but it is guaranteed to keep you entertained.

Great book, great romance.
Totally loved it❤️
The main character, Yasmin, is a bestselling author who ran out of muse and needs some vacation time in order to get it back. Her publisher is pressing for a deadline and sends Yasmin to a much needed vacation in Greece. Yasmin is writing her book and meeting a gorgeous man, nikkos, and his son, Marcus, and uses some of her new experiences in writing her book. But what happens when fiction imitates life?

The story is seasoned with great love scenes, wonderful humor. I fell in love with both father and son and waiting for linda to write a book about Markus ❤️
This book in funny, makes you laugh, makes you think about life, makes you want to go to Greece 🇬🇷
Basically it makes you want to fall in love all over again.
A must reed.

*I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

First off, I must say I am a sucker for any romance novel that features an author as the protagonist, being a creative sort myself who has also published books. So it definitely wasn't hard for the storyline to draw me in, and I found myself relating to Yasmin right away. I can also relate to writer's block and how a change of scenery and vacation adventures can help overcome stagnant writing. I was a bit jealous while reading the book though, because I would love to be able to head to Greece whenever I need some inspiration! This is definitely a simple pleasures kind of book for me, but often I find those are the best for a mental getaway from real life! After all, if we can't always live the exciting, sensuous life we would like to enjoy, at least we can enjoy it vicariously through reading!

Yasmin Weizmann is a best selling author whose on a deadline for a new book, but has nothing. She needs some help with her writing mojo, so her publisher sends her for some vacation time in Greece to find it again. Luckily, it doesn't take long for her to meet a man who she feels an attraction to, Nikos, and starts a new book. It's a sweet story with a side heat from here on out. The sexy times were hot, while their interactions were full of humor to keep me laughing. There was a few twists to keep me on my toes, and it's fun to read about the writing process in my stories. The talented Linda Maze descriptive powers had me feeling like I was there in Greece as well. I really enjoyed this story, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
