Mark Baines has spent the last year hiding from the group who framed him for murder. But when his routine flight crash-lands in Southampton, he suddenly finds himself on the run again. Nobody could have known he was on board, unless he has been betrayed by someone close to him.

When an office worker opens fire on his colleagues, and a student tries to detonate a suicide vest in a busy shopping centre, Mark suspects the mystery group are trying to execute key witnesses in a high-profile trial?

Forming an uneasy alliance with nemesis DI Jack Vincent, Baines is in a race against time to finally shine a light on the men lurking in the shadows.

Murder, espionage, terrorism and suspense: SHADOW LINE is the explosive follow-up to REDEMPTION.

This is the third Mark Baines book following on from Integration and then Redemption. I loved the description of this book describing the events starting with a plane crash, a mass shooting, a bomb and then the fact that D.I Jack Vincent has to contend with the Secret Services....

This was another book that had me screaming at my kindle as so much more was revealed. I had not even realised at first that it was another Mark Baines book...I think I have a secret crush on this character as once I realised it was the third book I was smiling even more. Although I did not love it as much as the first two, hence only 4*, it was still a great read. There was so much going on in this book I did find it hard to put down and definitely recommend reading it, especially if you enjoyed Integration and Redemption. Stephen is very good at getting his characters just right. I am truly hoping I get to read another book with Mark Baines...if only he were real *sigh*. LOL

Hmmmm not sure about this book. it is great that so many characters are carried over from previous books but this time the various story lines were 'too much'. Persevere though as the ending is good.
