Always stand by your family and be a man of your word are the morals Kordell and Javoni Hughes were raised on. Those same words of wisdom was how Kordell ended up married to Nadia. When he meets Royce he gains a new outlook on love.
Learning from the mistakes of his brother Javoni chose a different route staying far away from love and anything that looked like it. Keeping a few woman in the pocket to satisfy his needs is his motto and he doesn't have a care in the world. That is until Christian storms into his world turning it completely upside down making him feel things he’s not used too.
Failed relationship after failed relationship Royce cant seem to understand why she attracts all the wrong men. She decides to fall back from the dating scene but when Kordell refuses to take no for an answer she doesn’t regret giving him a chance. That is until she learns she isn’t the only woman in his life.
Leaving her drowning relationship with her college sweetheart Christian moves back home to reunite with her family and best friend- Royce. She has plans on staying far away from love and enjoying her hometown but Cupid had plans of his own.

Wow
Nadia just irks my last nerve. Why would you wanna be with somebody who don't want you. Poor Royce this was just like basically another heartbreak for her. I feel like her and kordell are good for but they just got to get rid of nadia. Kordell parents are just dumb and I don't like. Javoni is so rude but he so bae. I swear javoni and Christian are so perfect for each other. I can't wait to read book 2

Ish got real
If you're not happy in your marriage let it go there is no reason to be miserable to please your parents or make the kids happy Kordell needs to live his life for himself. Nadia just needs to give it up and I love Javonni and Christian I hope they get it together and I hope Royce at least hears Kordell side of things even if it is too late for them maybe he can learn from this

Good
Interesting story... Kordell was just out cold for leading Royce on. He could have at least told her the real smh... Christian and Javoni are totally cute together! I love it.... The 3 stars are because it was hard to read with all the errors. Misspelled/misused words, missing words, punctuation... Yeah, granted, I did finish the story, it just seemed like I was reading a rough draft. I will keep reading since the story is enticing though. Hopefully, the books get better.

Loved this book and it was so good. Enjoyed the storyline and it flowed really well. Loved the characters and they were well developed. That ending is exactly what i was waiting for and then some. Very well written book that was so entertaining and interesting. On to the next installment. Amazing job Kaylyn Kiara.

Something New
This was definitely in my Kindle library for the longest and I had been looking forward to reading it. This book brought out the theme entanglement before entanglement actually became the hot topic of 2020. I really couldn't connect with the characters, but I do hope I can read the rest of the series.

This is a good one
Kordell is wrong and he knows it. Just divorce her so you and Royce can see where things go. I find it amazing yet weird that the whole family lives in one big house together. Javoni needs to own up to his feelings before he loses his girl.

Good read
This was a good book. Jovani and Christian are fools. I can’t wait to see what happens next with them. Kordell was wrong for withholding the truth from Royce but hopefully she can look past that. Can’t wait for 2.
