Rotten: Spoiled Plans Were Not An Option.

Spoiled plans were simply not an option for Jonah Dunn.
It didn’t matter that Emery Swinn, his She Devil boss, thought she could have anything she wanted by simply batting her eyes and making others do her dirty work.
Jonah, who had lived enough for three lives, knew exactly what he wanted and wasn’t going to let Her Highness stop him.
With eyes set on rookie intern Danielle Mosley, Jonah had every intention of doing whatever it took to win her affection. But with Emery in his way and Danielle fixated on plans of her own, it wouldn’t be easy.
Sometimes, love and lust go bad. Greed gets in the way.
With the help of Dawn Youngwood and a couple of hidden aces, he might just teach his spoiled boss and the woman he loves that making deals with the devil can only lead to one thing.
It won’t be pretty. It might even get ugly.
But Jonah had never put much stock in appearances. He’d learned, a long time ago, that shallow women were simply rotten.
He’d never make such a mistake again. This time, he would be in charge and he’d be the one teaching the final lesson.

She Devil Emery runs the office with an iron hand and a well manicured body. Jonah's in her sights, and what she sets her mind on, she normally gets. But he has other plans. Danielle, the intern, with clumsy ways and a sweet heart is more Jonah's idea of a hot chick. Will Jonah get what he wants? Will Emery? Who will pay the price for the evil in that office? Watch Emery snap her fingers and get what she wants, while Jonah snaps back. This is a fascinating read about power, need, lust, and love.

Give it a read; it will spoil you.

So Rotten is the story of 3 very different characters working in Swinn Incorporated. You Jonah an executive in the company almost at the top, he has some flaws but is genuinely a caring good guy. You have Dannielle a single mum an intern at the company struggling to make ends meet and get off her mum and dads couch and into a house where her and her daughter can make a comfortable life, Dannielle wants to make it to the top but without getting to dirty on the way. Then there is the co owner Emery a SUPER BITCH a mean deplorable person. Who uses and abuses ppl for fun. She is a sociopath at the least. Now there is a love triangle kind of. Emery wants Jonah jonah wants nothing to do with Emery he despises her, Jonah wants Dannielle and Dannielle wants Jonah pretty easy to sort out. Nope because of a slip of the tongue and a white lie to Dawn, Emery's s two face PA, Dannielle is now on Emery's radar and this will not go well. Lines are drawn, people are hurt and you have to read this gem to see who comes out on top. The story is short and fast paced. The chara ters are well fleshed but you are left to guess whats going on in certain parts this is done deliberately as it shows you cant always know what ppl are thinking. But dont worry the ending brings it all together. I loved the ending. This a story is about doing what is right and how some pplare just Rotten to the core. Give this read add it to your tbr you wont regret it

This was an interesting read, I was, to be honest, not sure what to expect. I bought it because it was an Erin Lee book and she is one of my automatic buy authors. All her books are amazing, and there is something different about each of them, that you find you can't put her books into a category as it's not just romance, it's not just a mystery, and it's not just a horror story. In Rotten, we meet a Bad Boss who is truly Rotten to the core. Her name is Emery Swinn though it should be Swine instead. She is a B-Boss, and if you aren't doing what she says, or she finds you a threat, then you better be careful as she will not only fire you but she might even try to kill you. This story is about three major characters - Emery, Jonah and Danielle and how you should never misjudge someone who you think as weak as they might be the one to come out on top. This is one book that you will have to read as I don't want to give away the spoilers , but one thing I will leave you with is that this book comes complete with a major twist that I have to admit I did not see coming and when It did I was like WTF is happening and AARGH talk about intensity for the reader. This book also comes complete with a moral - Never underestimate someone as even the most unsuspecting person can surprise you and to borrow for one of Erin's other books - Karma is the B word.

This book is amazing and the author that wrote it was creative and skilled in character development. I'm sure we all know someone lying and sneaky like Danielle. Anyone that says this book is less than 5 stars probably hasn't even read the book seeing as how it's not out yet. I was lucky enough to get an ARC in exchange for an HONEST review.

As always this author does a fantastic job. I can't wait to read more!

Rotten started out with terrific introductions to the characters Danielle, Jonah, and Emery. I could tell it would be important to know where these characters stood and what they each wanted to gain. Jonah's intrigue with Danielle had me very interested in the story.
Danielle started out as a character that I wanted to support as she worked to better her life, but once she slipped up and uttered a name, everything changed in her world. She made a deal with the devil that there would be no coming back from. Sure, it would move her forward, but at what ultimate cost?
Emery was a deplorable person. Before she even made her official appearance in the story, I already hated her and everything that she represented. The way that she used and humiliated people was disgusting. She was the master puppeteer in this story, but unfortunately for her, she did not have as complete a grasp on all the players' strings as she first thought. This made her dangerous, but also somewhat careless.
The theme of cat and mouse was very appropriate in this story. The way that Jonah and Emery played their sides was well done. I was impressed with the way that Jonah was always able to switch gears and come out on top of the pettiness. He was a character that had great depth as the story moved along.
Rotten has a unique flow that keeps the reader guessing about what has taken place and what is yet to come. It kept me on my toes and turning pages faster and faster to find out what would happen next as the pieces fell into place. This book was amazing and delivered a very powerful message, both in its words and publication. I was thrilled that Rotten was able to rise from the ashes to the pure delight of Erin Lee's readers.

Loved this book!
We all have that person in our lives that only look out for themselves. They will pick up, chew and spit out anyone they can use! That is Emery. She walks all over everyone but has other people do her dirty work for her. How do you servive? You play the puppet in her games! But what happens when that is not even enough?
Erin did a WONDERFUL job showing all sides of being stuck in an evil place. The things people will do to climb to the top and save their own butts.
You will find yourself loving some and loathing others as this story unfolds! Absolutely loved it and could not put it down!

What happens when people are tired of their entitled, spoiled bosses? This book. Two seemingly opposite people come together to show that not only do opposites attract, but together, they can take on the meanest of bosses!

This was not a very long book, but it is straight forward and to the point. It throws you right into the action and doesn't stop until the end. The characters are done so well, had the story is disturbing well written. I would love to see more of these characters! I highly recommend this to anyone who like their revenge served ice cold.

Danielle is trying to make a life for herself and her daughter by working for Schwinn Inc. Emery is the boss there and she is, rotten, evil, pscho, not nice at all. Danielle has no idea how bad things will get just because she talks with Jonah, he is the man who Emery wants, but he will not have anything to do with her.
So this was a short twisted take about a spoiled woman who didn't get exactly what she wanted. This woman was beyond spoiled, she was psycho and went to the extreme to take revenge on the people who she felt rebuffed her.

This story is about a narcissistic Emery Swinn who has a thing for Jonah Dunn that can't stand the boss lady. Jonah is falling hard for an intern Danielle Mosley. Jonah and Danielle have secrets that could change their lives. Jonah takes life in his own hand and Danielle makes the only thing she can. Erin Lee takes a thrilling story and makes it a true page turner. You'll love the twists and turns.

Emery the typical bombshell, bitchy, high on herself higher power in the office wants something. The only good looking man in the office she hasn't conquered yet' Jonah. Jonah knows her type and is not interested, he likes the sweet intern Danielle. Will Jonah have a chance to get to bee with Danielle? or will Emery stop that right in their tracks?

Everyone at Swinn Incorporated knows you don't cross the boss lady--Emery Swinn. She gets what she wants when she wants it--now! But Jonah Dunn doesn't want to give her what she wants. Instead he's interested in Danielle, a lowly intern. Read this thriller to find out what happens when spoiled rotten Emery Swinn doesn't get her way. You'll enjoy it. I did.

Another spectacular read from multi-genre author, Erin Lee! I was amused when the author compared some people to the core of a rotten apple, just spoiled from the inside out. But no matter how hard they try to ruin things for the ones around them, they will NEVER win... which is very true.

Cannot say enough good things about this story. There is always that one boss in the office who thinks the world revolves around her. God forbid you don't bow down and kiss her feet. What they want, they get. This story brings justice and sweet revenge to the boss lady who finally gets just what she deserves.
