I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!
I'm a native of Las Vegas, NV, so I'm pre-wired to love everything weird ~ although I don't find any kind of love to be weird. I'm a cis woman who's been happily married to the same lovable lug for 18 years. We have a 16yr old son, well, at least I think we do? Either that, or we have a ghost that eats all our food and uses up all wifi playing xbox while screaming into a headset.
As a new author, it's been amazing to find the amount of support that I've been given from readers and my fellow authors. Feel free to message me, I love to chat with fellow readers. Am I a reader? Heck yeah! In fact, I'm never certain that I can completely trust an author who isn't a fellow bibliophile.
I will try to update here when I'm doing promotional parties & chats. I usually do those on Facebook. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, you should totally do it! I only send out NL's to announce new releases or important announcements. I also like to note in my NL what I'm currently reading along with a cover shot and the link for anyone who is interested.
In the last book of the series, Alpha’s Solstice, we catch up to everyone ten years later. As much as I enjoyed finding out how everyone’s doing, it just got me curious to see if Ms. Hawke is planning a “next generation” of this series. The hints about the twin alpha/twin omega pairings would make a great story, so I hope we see it in the near future.
an audiobook copy of Alpha's Solstice was provided for the purpose of my review
This was basically an overview of the whole series. Both the Den and the Lodge come together to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
The one thing I was looking for was the storyline between Drew and Frankie's Alpha and Omega twins. She hinted that something is there, I hope that book is in the works.
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow- Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the at he kids' series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or 'Liberty' from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey’s books) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times a year (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time- reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok). It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
4.4 🌟's The Epilogue This was really a great idea to show what happened to the various couples and their families over the 10 years since the war with the Alpha Bear's sister, her mate, and the Rogues ended.
The families continue to grow, love flourished, some kids turned into brats, while others matured as older teens and younger pre-teens. The planning and execution of the party for the Winter Solstice was a feat only made possible by the cooperation and coordination of the Omegas, their children, and some of the Alphas from both the Den and the Pack. This was a well thought-out ending to two very entertaining and intertwined series.
Spoilers the only sad part is that only a handful of the characters out of the 13 characters from find ends and the 13 characters from The Lodge pack did you 23 people cuz each pack has one threesome reminds me of the blood legacies word has 13 families but huge part would have loved for all those 23 people and their children's children to be like and have two gifts that Hector and Frankie have anyway it was amazing it was brilliant I loved it from beginning to end Journey not over but a awesome awesome beginning
This was great. I loved seeing the lives of these characters from the first two series ten years after the previous book. In the case of the first series, it's been 16 years since we have seen these children or heard from these characters 1st person as opposed through other characters in passing. I'm excited for the next series, which features some the kids we met in these two series with some new characters mixed in. Plus the new series is going to have a rally cool plot that is a bit more mystical.
What a beautiful way to end this series. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this entire book. So much fun catching up with all the previous characters. The den and pack coming together is phenomenal. Outstanding way to blend the den and pack than doing it during winter solstice. Amazing that the original one has in the pack are pregnant again at the same time. I highly recommend reading this book and the entire series.
Nice holiday book with sexy look ins at all the couples. As usual I liked the wolf pack ones best. The omega's of both packs seemed to have been very fertile and there are a rash of pregnancies and births in this book. The holiday get together aspect was very well thought out and felt like a real occasion might. I think I caught a set up for something down the with two pairs of the boys. It will be interesting to see if and when we revisit these characters again.
This book was just pure fun. We got to catch up with all our favorite characters from the previous books starting from Omega Stolen all the way to Alpha’s Redemption. I liked catching up and seeing where all the characters were up to, as well as their children.
Overall Rating: 3.25 Stars. There was really no plot, but plot wasn’t needed. This was a fun and long epilogue to wrap up the Northern Lodge Pack and Northern Pine Den. Super fluffy and super cute – I loved it.
Bringing everything full circle has all the guys, their mates, and children meeting up to celebrate the solstice and the ten-year anniversary of winning the war. It was wonderful catching up with all the heroes and seeing their HEAs. The children are numerous and many more to come. The next generation is mating and starting families of their own. I'm ready to start the Blood Legacy Chronicles that will bring those mates forward.
This is a mix of all the mates and their love of their struggle to simply be happy. I would recommended that you read the other books, however it is simply my opinion that you could red it as a stand alone. The history and friendship they have together makes it a happy up beat story!
I love these series I enjoy so much reading them. And is so great that ant the end Northern Lodge Pack and Northern Pines Den have a book together . I felt sorry for Colin, Sean, Jules that they a miscarriage and I wish Drew and Frankie had more children but a part form that I really enjoy that all the members were happy and together once more. ...And i have to say go Kai :D cant believe 12 ...
Alpha's Solstice is the perfect wrap up of the Northern Pines Den series while allowing you a glimpse into what the future may hold. We get to visit with all the characters we have met in this series and then previous series, falling more in love with these characters. Definitely a recommended book.
Great way to end the series. I loved this short story with all our favorites mixed in, a great way to tie up the series and where everyone is now. Gives us hints at the future and possible spin offs and of course all the twist and turns with surprises! Leaves me wanting to reread the series all over again. Can't wait for the next.
A nice capstone to the Northern Pines Den series. The holiday season finds our shifters reminiscing and wanting to mark the 10 years (!) that have passed since the last story. I liked the idea of getting to see further down the road with these characters and their children. They're still sexy and still in love, but things are stable now.
Who would have thought so much would have gone on in ten years? The book was lovely to see how all of the couples were doing…and the many children they were making lol. It was a lovely catch up, definitely looking forward to the next stage in the spin off series.
I had so much fun reading this book. It was amazing to see all the old character meeting again in on replace and celebrating life. Susi Hawk just know how to write amazing stories. I'm eagerly waiting for the next generation stories. It'll be so much fun.
A great look into HEA of all the couples from the two series. Sentimental, sweet, funny, sexy, and heartwarming. The pack and den have come so far and it was great to see all of them still happy and in love. Fantastic way to end the series.
It was so good to get back too the pack and den. I loved how everyone got a little bit of story time. I want more. With any luck we get some stories about the kids finding their mates.
10 years after the rogue war mates are older, kids are old, and next generation starts their families. Nice to see what has happen to everyone and their families. Great to see that the love and continuous work to be together as one.
Finally got to read about the children that are in the blood legacy chronicles. It helped to bring the characters back to life i knew they'd been more but not much else. Loved this story of a group of people becoming a family and celebrating togetherness.
I loved how i was updated on all the couples lives and what is happeneinf with them. It is sort of crazy they all have so many pups after 10 years lols but a good read none the less
I'm so glad the author wrote this. It was good to revisit all the mates and their young, including the ones we didn't know about. I loved how it ended. Maybe there will be more in the future. Or a series that visits these guys.
Simply beautiful to read the stories of Both the pack and the den came together in celebrating life love and victory. I have enjoyed reading both series and can't wait for what comes next in the future 😁🤩
