I have been in a funk lately not able to decide on a book to read because nothing was what I wanted, but I get this email from Samantha Cade yesterday saying the book will be released on August 15th and then she would send out the reminder email for the reviews. So I download my preferred format thinking it will take me a couple of days to get into it. I started it and couldn't put it down. I found it quirky, funny, and exactly what I wanted. The sex is good, the dialogue is good. There is even some suspense and danger thrown in to make it a well rounded read.

The premise alone is worth many stars. Would kill someone for 7Million? Would you sleep with the man sent to kill you? Zane and Penny have to answers those questions and a lot more. This story is full of secrets, intrigue, cloak and dagger things. Not my normal romance sub genre with hacking and spying, but still it was a interesting read. Penny is scared but she is willing to do what she can to get to the truth about her friend. Zane needs money to help his sick mother. Two desperate people have to fight their way to an HEA. Action, romance and mysteries all come together in this romantic suspense.

A really exciting and thrilling romantic suspense novel. It is dark and compelling as our heroine digs deep into the seedy belly of underground hackers and corruption securities and government agencies to find out the truth of her brother's death!
Our heroine is scared and naive, but grows into a brave a gritty warrior, whilst our hero finds his way back to honour for the woman he loves! Definitely worth a read, as this is an action packed and satisfying read.

Wow this romantic suspense got my attention immediately and kept it. It was hard to put down. Well written with great characters and an explosive storyline. I felt like I was right there with Penny and Zane. Talk about chemistry, what about seven million dollars of chemistry!. Penny, a hacker is one strong female who keeps everyone on their toes. Things heat up when Zane, a former seal realizes that his seven million dollar contract is built on lies and the woman he has fallen for is his target. No spoiler here, but this is a great 5 star read. I received an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.

What a fantastic wild ride. This book was thrilling and exciting. I loved Penny and Zane. He might have been hired to kill her but he ends up protecting her instead. She ends up being one beck of a Bad A. I loved her protecting him too. She was out to get justice for her brother and finds love along the way. This book not only had an incredible romance it also had a mystery, deception, and let's not forget the psycho bad guys. Loved this book. Samantha Case wrote one heck of a delicious wild ride. Once you start this ride hang on cause you don't want to get off til it's over. I voluntarily received this ARC for an honest review.

A woman (Penny) just trying to get answers about her brother Ben's death which she thinks is murder. Ben worked for a world known company VC solutions. When she decides to break into VC and steal their information she becomes number 1 on their hit list. Zane is called in by VC to do a hit for 7 million dollars and Penny is whom they want him to kill and get back the information she stole.
When Zane and Penny finally get together the story really gets going. I really enjoyed this book and the concept the author put together. It took a bit for me to get into, but I am so glad I stuck it out. Good book and I would highly recommend it.

Having never read this author before, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but I have to say that I was quite impressed with Assassin In My Bed.
I thoroughly enjoyed this storyline of Samantha's. It was well written with interesting characters, assasin, hackers, danger and romance. The story is captivating and flows well. The main characters are very well described.
This book pulled me in from the first page and kept me hooked until the very last word!

This is one of the best written books I've read. The storyline between Zane and Penny is amazing and kept me on edge from beginning to end. Samantha has done an awesome job of writing a book that I couldn't put down. It's a must read for romance enthusiasts of all ages. I'm looking forward to reading many more books written by her. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This book was awesome. It was the first book I read from the author and it was so good. Zane's mom was absolutely hysterical in this. Zane and Penny had great chemistry. It also had moments of sadness relating to Penny's brother. All in all, a great book.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the first time I've read anything by Samantha Cade and let me you what, it WON'T be the last book I read by her! This book was phenominal. The mystery to it and the love that grows from it...wow!! I was getting thrown curve balls left and right and it was awesome!! Mind blown!! I highly recommend you reading this book!!

Looking for a must read, this is the book you are looking for. Penny and Zane will take you on a wild ride that will suck you in from the beginning till the end. The book is not only written well, the characters are developed so completely you will want more from this author. I know I do. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book

A wonderfully written story that had me from the first page, If this was a film I would be on the edge of my seat, the suspense was thrilling and the chemistry between the characters was smoking, I even had a few laughs.

Loved it!! I loved all the twist and turns. Not your typical assassin/romance book and has a girl doing anything she can to find out the truth. Insta-love type read with action of both types...great read.

Exciting & romantic read! I loved this story! It was such an easy flowing read. There is so much heart & bravery shown by Penny for her brother Ben. That chic has moxie! And sexy Zane he is a fighter to the end & not afraid of love! This is definitely worth the read!

I really enjoyed the book. It has a great mix of suspense and romance. Zane and Penny have amazing chemistry and they sizzle together. I really enjoyed the fast pace of the story and it kept me guessing.

Lower Your Expectations, I Guess
I guess my expectations were a lot higher than I expected. It was a great read over all, but I don't think this would be something that I would reread in the way way way distance future.

I cannot say enough good stuff about this book. It is AWESOME! Edge of your seat suspense with action, romance and a shocking betrayal thrown in; the constant anticipation of what will happen next keeps you turning the pages.
Penny Waters is a freelance social media marketing consultant who is looking for answers into the death of her brother. Ben was a Marine deployed to Afghanistan and then went to work for VC Solutions as security for American Ambassadors all over the Middle East. After receiving a disturbing phone call from him one night, he is killed in a terrorist attack a week later. Frantic with this news and haunted by her brother’s last words, she decides to do whatever it takes to find the truth and connects with a notorious hacker named Em Dash and his group to find answers. After breaking into VC Solutions and getting caught, she is on the run. Hiding out in an old barn with her brother’s best friend, Hunter, they work with Em Dash and his group to decrypt the files to find the answers she seeks. When no one immediately comes for her, she thinks she is in the clear until she receives news from her anonymous contact that VC hired an assassin to take her out. I receved an ARC of this book and it îs my duty to write a review. the book is romance suspense. The idea îs nice and it Could've been a really great book however it was not. IMO îs to compressed and I Could not relate to the characters. i wanted to feel the chemistry between the main characters just în order to justify their future actions. I mean we are talking about 7 million dollars, and they know each other for a couple of days, one week max and already they are saying I love you. from my Point of view it was too condensed and it needed some space to proper develop the story as well the characters, therefore 3.5stars, rounded at 4 Only for the idea
