CODE NAME: STERLING What are you looking for? To be treated like a princess? Or a queen? They call me Sterling because I make women feel like royalty. I give ladies a taste of the good life. But all that has to be put on hold when I go visit family for the holidays. My dad would pitch a fit if he knew what I did for a living. Especially considering what I gave up. One thing I didn’t expect: to meet the girl from down the street, all grown up. She’s a knock-out with a wild streak a mile wide. I can’t get enough. The only problem is, she doesn’t know what I do. And if she finds out? She might torch my house knowing I deceived her. I have to find a way to keep her in my life. * * * NOT-EVEN-REMOTELY-THE-CLIENT: CYNTHIA I’m trapped. I’m stuck living with my parents for the holidays, all because I dumped my boyfriend, which also happened to be my boss. Well…my ex-boss, now. And my ex-house-mate. I need to get a new job, but no one is hiring until after the new year. I’m trapped in this boring town with a bunch of fuddy-duddy rich people and my crazy great-aunt, Bessie. It’s a complete shock when I run into Noah from down the street, Mr. Popular Hot Guy from high school. He’s as gorgeous as he always was, and logic says, every bit the playboy. So why can’t I stay away from him? Why can’t I learn from the rumors of the past and keep him at a distance? I don’t know, but the more I know about him, the more I’m hooked. And the more I get the feeling he has haunts from his past that he’s not telling me.
A wine country native, I moved to San Francisco for college just shy of a decade ago to pursue a lifelong interest in film. As I settled into the vibrant city, it quickly became apparent that, while I thought making and editing films was great fun, I lacked cinematic genius. For that reason, my career path quickly changed direction. My next goal was a strange childhood interest, conjured at the dining room table while filling out a form. For some reason, my young self wanted to be an Accountant. Thinking on it now, I wonder how I had any friends. Regardless, it was the direction I finally took.
While I could wrangle numbers with the best of 'em, and even though I wore the crown as the most outspoken, belligerent accountant in the world, my mind got as stuffy as my daily routine. It was here that I dusted off my creative hat and began writing.
I normally don’t read modern Romances but I heard that this author is a pen name for K.F. Breene - who I love.
Every book in this series made me laugh, smile & feel good. This one - especially so.
This is the final one of the series, I think. But if I found an additional book in this series, I would read it with unholy glee. Like a “Big Dick Weddings” series.
I've loved reading these books and I'm kind of gutted it's over.
This is Sterling ( Noah ) and Cynthia's story, and what a great book to finish the series.
Noah has always intrigued me throughout this series he came across as the most level headed if slightly conservative member of the BD agency.
I loved seeing him more relaxed in this book, showing us the real Noah the man underneath. He's actually a really great guy.
Cynthia is an absolute hoot, she clumsy and happens to be the black sheep of her family. She's also smart as a whip and very ambitious. She knows exactly what she can do if she's given the chance to prove herself. Her obsession with post - it's cracked me up.
I was so engrossed with Noah and Cynthia. I loved how they already knew each other from their childhoods and grew up in the same street. They both had crazy families that were hilarious especially Cynthia's.
Noah and Cynthia have scorching chemistry they just click. Their journey was fun and all kinds of hotttt. There's secrets, revelations and complications along the way. But ultimately it's about fantastic friends that have your back no matter what.
This is a feel good series that will make you laugh and swoon. I'd definitely want to be in their inner circle of friends, there's never a dull moment.
Sadly this is the last book in the series. I have loved every minute of this ride and would love another book with all the characters. Noah goes home to visit his family for Thanksgiving. His parents have no idea what he does. His father rides him all the time for quitting a job at his wealthy friends law firm. Cynthia broke up with her boyfriend who also happened to be her boss. Now she is unemployed and homeless so she moves back in with her parents. Who live 4 houses down from Noah's. Literally a crash in the grocery store isle reconnects them after many years. Cynthia is the little sister of one of Noah's many friends with benefits from his younger years. They really seem to have a spark but Cynthia doesn't want her heart broken like her sister's was so she will try to keep her distance. A few visits at each other's houses, matchmaking from Cynthia's Mom and the sparks fly. Crazy Aunt Bessie adds to the fun.
I recommend you read this book as well as the entire series. I am looking forward to checking out other books by Willow Summers.

Cait’s Score for Sterling : 35/40, 88%
CYNTHIA!!! She was absolutely fantastic, so so good. Her and Jamie together were hilarious! And her first comment to Ethan was great. She was my favorite girl, by far. Though Janie was a close second.
Noah was a sweetie, which we knew.
Their families were so great.... I mean Aunt Bressie, come on.
The BD family and their girls couldn’t be more perfect and I so loved the ending. Maybe someday in the future Summers could do little novellas for each couple with snapshots of their future, weddings, jobs, kids, happily ever afters.
And maybe, BD generation 2? 4 new guys? 4 new girls? A new family born.
I think I found Sterling the most interesting story, or Blaze. Either way, they’re all good and I recommend them all.
IF YOU SEE THIS, PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR FEEDBACK ON MY NEW RATING AND REVIEW SYSTEM. IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD ADD, CHANGE OR REMOVE TO IMPROVE IT? PLEASE AND THANK YOU, LOVELY READERS.
*Writing is referring to how well the author writes. I mean no offense to the author by mentioning it, but it makes or breaks a book for me 100%. 1 = I couldn’t even get through the first five pages. 2 = Made it to 20-30% before it hurt too bad. 3 = Mostly finished or skipped to the end to finish because it's tolerable, but it wasn’t my favorite. 4 = Really good writing, character development, etc., couple things were weird but overlooked cause it was good enough. 5 = Perfect everything, obviously.
**Level of Smut is referring to how to tame vs explicit it is, which is why I went with this rating system. THIS IS NOT A RATING ON HOW MUCH I LIKED THE SMUT. Kissing and/or making out does not count as smut. Also, when I say ‘sex scene’, if someone has an orgasm, I’m considering it a sex scene; no matter how they get there. It doesn’t have to mean the actual act of intercourse. G (Score of 1) - No smut PG (2) - 1 sex scene books PG- 13 (3) - 2 sex scene books R (4)- Your standard 3 sex scene book. These generally aren’t as long of sex scenes or as descriptive. X-Rated (5) - all the good stuff is in here, baby, and a hell of a lot of it. This would also mean that the story is extremely descriptive, as well, and would have to include A LOT of sex for me to consider it X.
*** Quality of Smut is referring to how well the smut is written, according to my tastes. I have certain words and kinks, etc, that I am not a fan of and will automatically drop it down if I see it. That may not be the same case for you. I’ll try to include my reasoning if there’s anything specific. (A+ = 5 - E = 1)
**** Did it Make Me Sweat ;) ? Tbh, did it turn me on? Did I want to read more and more sex scenes (The answer is almost always yes)? This is different from quality because of the simple fact that the smut doesn’t ALWAYS have to be A+ quality to make me sweat… or does it??? I guess we’ll see.
I really liked this book about the last of the Big D Escorts. Noah is technically a lawyer - he passed the bar and practiced law for a while and walked away. The book says why. His FMC is Cynthia - the youngest sister in a family that lives 4 houses from his parent's house. Noah previously dated the older sisters when they were all on HS. While visiting his parents for Thanksgiving, he runs into Cynthia (or rather she ran into him) at the grocery store. A bit of chaos ensued with many apologies ad she rushed out of the store as soon as she could. Sparks fly and things get very hot as they keep running into each other and the last of the escorts quits his job.
This was hysterically funny in spots and contained some funny rapid fire type dialog. I really loved the characters and how they all fit together as each becomes part of the other's lives. Sadly, this book wraps up the series and draws the overarching story of all of the characters from the previous books to a close. It was a fun, wild ride that I enjoyed very much.
Sterling is the fourth book in the Big D Escort Service series by Willow Summers and is the last book of the series. Willow is one hell of an author, there is not one book she has written that I have not loved. I laughed out loud and so hard I often had tears running down my fac at the antics of this lovable motley crew of hot, sexy men and their women. I was unable to put it down it was soooooooo good and I am sad the series has come to an end. This book as with the others is an erotic and hilarious tale of finding love, finding the one but all could be lost because of a job.
Noah and Cynthia’s story is a little bitter sweet because of his history. Cynthia the black sheep and the most misunderstood of her family meets up with a blast from the past but can they survive when the truth is revealed?
I have loved getting to know this bunch of yahoos and the women who love them. Noah has always seemed to me to be the quiet one of the group; the philosopher with uncharted depths and uncounted secrets. I think pairing him with a girl he grew up with, one he overlooked at the time, is just about perfect. Especially when Cynthia has Madison’s focus, Kaylee’s drive, and Janie’s straight up zaniness. She fits with the rest of the group while still being one hundred percent herself. Watching the group pull together to fix everything while Noah and Cynthia were breaking my heart, shows the true measure of family. Aunt Bessie steals the show. Hands down, every scene. She completely steals the show.
I’m so very sad that this series is over. I loved each of the books. The characters were so great. The writing is phenomenal in my opinion. I laughed so much in this book as well as the others. Janie and Aunt Bessie....OMG! Hilarious. I loved Noah and Cynthia’s story and history. Cynthia was a mini Janie which I loved. She had such an awesome personality. I enjoyed how her relationship grew with Noah and the time they spent together. I really liked Noah’s character as well. He was such a sweet guy. He killed me at the end. Had me tearing up. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this series. It was really so great and I am so sad it’s over.
Each book in the four book series can be read as a standalone, or for the best adventure in reading, read books in order. Each book is following a group of friends that believe that to be the best is to work their problems and even the good times with the motto of "together we are stronger". This motto has worked through all four books with STERLING showing their concern and understanding best. This book pulls at your heartstrings, full of highs and lows. As with each book, HEA is inevitable. I'm not ready to let my new family members go! More, please!
I loved all the Escort books, but Sterling’s story was far the best! I truly felt Noah’s heart breaking when he felt he could lose Cynthia. And yet I’m tearing up again thinking about it. The books are funny, sensual, and passionate. I love that all characters are included and keep the bond of friendship throughout each story. I will be re-reading them all again.
Hesitated to read the first one. Male escort service? Probably all sex and more sex, but was I glad I ventured past the first page of the first book. I loved every laugh, every tear, every moment of each relationship in this 4 book series. Please start from book #1. If you don't I promise you, you'll want to go back.
Just discovered my new favorite author! Great sex writing, excellent humor, laugh out loud! This is a great series and am looking forward to reading more of her work! I highly recommend reading her work!
I was sitting in front of the fire with my husband dozing next to me and had to put my hand over my mouth to stop myself laughing out load, I love this series and want to have teeshirts with the same writing as some of her characters. More please.
HOPEFULLY YOU READ THESE IN ORDER... GREAT CHARACTERS. REALLY GOOD STORIES. I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THESE BOOKS. I'LL MISS THIS GROUP! I'D LOVE TO HANG WITH THEM IN COLTONS KITCHEN❣️🧉🍹🍺🍾🥂
I really enjoyed reading this book. Ms. Summers really had me holding my stomach on this one from laughing so hard. I think everyone will enjoy this read and I definitely will recommend to others.
I have been waiting patiently as I read the other books to get to Noah's story. I just felt like he was the most down to earth and therefore the most realistic of the BD guys. The book did not disappoint and made me laugh out loud quite few times. The only bummer for me at the conclusion of the series, no one has babies or is married yet. I know the timeline through the four books is maybe a year tops so I understand why they weren't rushed in there. Maybe a follow up book with a 4-way wedding and babies is in the future???? Fingers crossed.
