The last in the series
So i believe this is the last book in the series. I enjoyed it just as much as the others although Eva pissed me off quite a bit and why did it feel no one really tried to get her help. Anyway...the pace of the book was pretty good though with it mainly being about Eva and Rosa, I felt that the scenes about Lauren and Anna seemed to break it up too much.
Regardless, I enjoyed it and I think if yoh enjoyed the other two you will enjoy this one too.

This has so much emotional turmoil going on & lots of intimacy. Focus was mainly on Eva & very glad for her happy ending....she has a good heart.

I won’t do a synopsis of The Hangover because if you are reading this you will have read Emma’s blurb and she has done a fine job of describing what the book is about.
The Hangover is the eagerly awaited 3rd in the Vincenti series and concentrates in the main on Eva and Rosa, but fear not Lauren and Anna are very much in the story.
Emma once again delivers a tour de force of a novel. The Hangover will expose you to a full gamut of emotions. From the first page of The Hangover your attention is grabbed by the scruff of the neck and you want to read on.
For me the mark of a truly good book is one that captures your attention from the off, you don’t want to put it down nor do you want it to finish, The Hangover ticks all of these.
The plot, as we have come to expect from Emma is well considered, intelligent and exquisitely written. One of my favourite lines from the book is: ‘The well-rehearsed line ricocheted around the bistro settling in the bottle of wine on the table’.
It is obvious from reading Emma’s books that she cares about her characters and you quickly realise that the characters in her books are not just there for the sake of it, they all have a meaningful role to play. Her characters have depth, dimension and they are believable and realistic.
Emma isn’t afraid to address painful topics in her books nor is she afraid to show that her characters are human with believable personality flaws. This just adds to her characters authenticity and credibility.
What you get from an Emma Nichols book is so much more than your stereotypical lesfic story of girl meets girl.
If you enjoyed Emma’s other two books in the series ‘Finding you’ and ‘Remember Us’ then ‘The Hangover’ won’t disappoint. The Vincenti series is the must read books of 2017 ..... scratch that they are must read books any year!

An Interesting Read
I am utilizing the review to review all three books in this series. Finding You, stands out as the strongest of the trilogy in my opinion. The relationship between Lauren and Anna is a palpable one, it leaps off the page from the moment they meet and that initial meeting is electric. Plot lines need to be believable even when fantastic is some way and this one absolutely was. There are some flaws that don’t necessarily deter the reader. Key among them is the handling of Lauren’s and Rachel’s marriage. It is resolved way too easily especially given the amount of years they shared. Most notable is that when Lauren is hospitalized, it was a key moment to make the angst be about perhaps Lauren remembering Rachel as her wife and wanting to stay in that marriage versus where it went. The exploration of the character of Eva and the third installment of the series in Hanover stands out as the weakest. I found Eva to be thoroughly unlikeable. A friend who only sought her own interests and key among her interests were who she could take to bed including her “best friend” Anna while Anna is pregnant no less. Look, I love some good low down titillation, but this was almost gratuitous and insulting in many ways. We are then made to believe that her trauma which results in her being an abysmal daughter and friend is her father walking out of her life and the third installment is about that. She is a shit friend, daughter, and girlfriend and the daddy issues were not enough to redeem her in my eyes. Our heroines do get back together but the detour takes away rather than strengthens the storyline. As far as series goes however this one isn’t bad. I do also give deference to the fact that Madeline stands as my favorite of this author’s work and recommend that anyone who enjoys a stirring and sensual romance read that book in particular.

Outstanding!!

Book 3: IT'S ALL ABOUT EVA… (with some unnecessary nuisance Lauren/Anna side plot interruption!)
What's so great about this book is the sublimely written storyline & perfectly developed narrative giving us profound insight & perspective of who Eva is beyond just a sidekick or Rowena's donut bringing daughter.
NOW… WHAT REALLY SUCKED…
** SPOILER ALERT **
…What sucks is how much pain, suffering & devastation Eva endured because she was abandoned by her so called "people who loved her" when she needed them most of all after having supported & cared for everybody else throughout the first 2 books!!!
(Coulda skipped that whole Vincenti spin off just to include them in the book if they just had been REAL friends to Eva!!!)
…But despite my anger, I LOVED this book & its a must read & must repeat to me!!

A wonderful conclusion
This final volume in the Vincenti Series focuses less on Anna and Lauren's relationship and more on Anna's friend Eva and her new girlfriend Rosa, who happens to be related to Lauren's mother's new husband. This is for the best, in my opinion, because further drama with Anna and Lauren would seem both cruel and forced. The way the revelations about the secrets not shared yet are handled in the story is just about perfect. Eva's path of self destructive behavior is painful, but realistic and well executed.

Just ok
The first two were much better than this one. I don't know exactly what was it that I found dull about this book but it wasn't on the same level as the previous ones. Maybe the amount of unnecessary sex scenes that felt more like fillers. I like the author style and i hope we get another one and (a better one) on the series , I would love to know what happens to Carene and i also found the doctor that Rosa met in London and even also Rosa's mother, I don't know but i see a potential story there.

For me, this was the best book in the series. Eva's story was heartbreaking at parts but it felt real and triumphant. I felt like Eva and Rosa's relationship was more fleshed out than Anna and Lauren's and their instant love worked better for them but I still couldn't really feel the depth of their connection until near the end. At certain points, I felt like Eva could have just as easily ended up with Charlie or Carina and it wouldn't have taken away from the plot.
I like Anna and Lauren and while I did want to hear more about them Eva's story was so compelling to me I felt like they detracted from the novel especially because their subplot felt kind of weak.

This was an outstanding book that depicts a roadblock that is too frequently an issue in relationships. The love story is heartfelt and emotional in such a real way. The difficulty of being in love with a person in active addiction and also with being that person are so vividly portrayed here that this book is a page turner from the onset. The struggles and victories are alternately frustrating and poignant. The rocky journey that Eva and Rosa travel is worth taking. Above all this is a story of perseverance, love, and communication. I highly recommend this book.

Many twists to get to the conclusion!
In this book 3 of the Vincenti series, Emma Nichols throws in quite a few twists with people who weren't previously mentioned. She did a good job of concluding Eva and Rosa's story and tying them into Anna and Lauren. Emma is a good storyteller, but this book just didn't seem as cohesive as the previous books and it needed another round of proofreading. There were an overwheming number of grammar, spelling and punctuation errors which, for me, took away from the fluidity of the storytelling!

Loved it! After feeling disappointed by the last book, this has more than made up for it. Good plot and sub plots well rounded characters, you genuinely like them and feel sorry for them. Lots of highs and lows. A lot more heat than any of the other books I’ve read by this author. Didn’t bother me, but if it’s not something you like to a lot of this maybe excessive. However I loved the book front first page till the last.

I loved Eva and Rosa’s story and happy about How it ended. Great conclusion to the series!!! I even reread the other 2 books before this one so I was reminded about what had just happened at the end of Remember Us. Always hard to see someone get lost in an addiction and I like the way her turnaround was done. Carina was and interesting addition to the story line.

Although this book had Lauren and Anna in it it focused mainly on Anna's best friend Eva. It was a good direction to take to keep the story fresh. When you have a series the more charaters you can intertwine the longer the life of the series. Especially if the characters are as stron as the ones Nichols creates. Hoping to see more in this series.

A relationship book
A relationship book. molving back and forth between the
anna-Lauren relationship and the Eva-Rosa relationship.. Not real exciting but the author is a pretty good writer so its keeps the reader interested in the story. Also the deaths of partents force the women to face up to their motality as the torch is passed from one generation to the next.

Beautiful
I was captivated from the first word in the first book of the series until the last word of this book. I have laughed and cried throughout. It was a true masterpiece written by a unique author who moulds characters that touch you. You become engrossed in their lives needing to see what happens next. Emma Nichols = genius

Enjoyable series
I liked the stories. I thought they were well developed but I do think this last installment seemed a bit forced or hurried. Did anyone else notice Eva's eye color changed in from green to blue?

I was very involved in this book. I started feeling the sadness of one of the characters. The story impresses from the beginning, and it has an spectacular ending. I really enjoyed it a lot. The Vicenti series is a magnificent story where you can use your imagination to visualize the beautiful scenes that are described through the reading. It will captivate you!!

Beautiful Series
Emma Nichols is one of the few lesfic writers that doesn’t have a bunch of grammar and spelling errors in her works. Her books are well-written and they evoke various emotions. You’ll laugh out loud and need some tissues.

Awesome
Loved the whole series!!! It would make quite a movie! The author describes everything in detail and makes you feel like you are there! And the couples face real problems and overcome them In a way that one can relate to.

Amazing!
This well written book concludes the Vincenti series with revealed family secrets, honest conversations about the past, self-destruction, rekindled love, and more. It can be read as a stand alone, but I recommend putting the entire series on your must read list.

A great way to wrap up a series, I really enjoyed Anna and Lauren’s journey and was so glad Eva and Rosa got it together.

Hard to finish
A simple book to read. Enjoyable not to many jokes, not much drama. The meeting with Daddy was the best scene.
