I am a former British soldier now turned IT slave. I began writing around mid-2014. This was a semi-autobiographical military Trilogy, under a different name.

During this time, I took to social media to promote myself and my books. Whilst on Twitter, I came across another author Dakota Storm who also writes under a different name. After mutual consent, and a bit of arm twisting on her part, we decided to collaborate on a book titled "Explosive Chemistry"

I enjoyed the experience so much I decided to continue on my own. I then released two more books on my own. The first titled "Undercover Liaisons", the other "The Principals Daughter". Both of these have military themes running through them as they are based on my experiences in the military and Private Security Industry

I wrote a trilogy of books based on the life and experiences of a male escort. They follow a young Irishman, the innocence of his first chance meeting with an older lady. She opens his eyes into the world of BDSM. After gaining a taste for it, he tries to discover more about the lifestyle while travelling abroad. The final book focuses on him acting as a male escort in a professional capacity. The main character experiences both sides of the BDSM lifestyle as a dom and a submissive. It was a challenge as I write as both male and female POV in the first person.
I recently released my first erotica novel, which is a dark psychological tale titled "Alters"

"Salvation" follows the lives of two characters searching for their own personal salvation.

"Hemispheres" was released in December 2017 is a psychological story dealing with emotions between two different characters. I won't spoil the story, but one is a sadistic selfish property developer, the other a loving family man. The ultimate sacrifice to save a child, an intricate puzzle to be solved.

Hemispheres was freakin amazing! Zak Hardacre has written another fantastic Book! Gabriel is a self centered, sadistic man who is use to having his way in every aspect of his life, he faces a decease that no one should ever face in their life. Now a choose was made to try and change the death sentence handed to him, but only to face a new battle, but this battle is within his mind. Will he ever find the peace within? You'll have to grab your copy and find out, Trust me you won't be disappointed! This is a must read book! definitely worth the 5 stars! can't wait to see where this author takes his readers next!

A truly thought-provoking book

Where do I start with this review?! 'Zak Hardacre is a genius'....would be a good start!
From the first page his words drew me in and I was fully immersed in Gabriel's life. This man who by his own admission is dominant, sadistic, showing little or no sympathy and empathy to his counterparts. Suddenly he is faced with his own mortality and an opportunity presents itself.....can he go through with it knowing that things will never be the same again?
This is a truly thought-provoking book that has you questioning yourself and your own moral compass and it stayed with me long after I finished it. I thought Zak Haracre hit it out the park with Salvation but this!.....this is on another level! Bravo Mr Hardacre, Bravo!

Hemispheres is an extremely well written, thought provoking intriguing book. It features Gabriel, a self centred, dominant sadistic man who is used to being in total control and getting his own way both in his work and sex life. He lacks empathy or compassion and sees women as playthings merely there to satisfy his quirks and extreme fetishes. Suddenly he is faced with his own mortality and the only solution is the futuristic Nanobrain run by the enigmatic Siegfried. Being Gabriel he doesn’t consider the long term consequences to his family or to the host of this potential solution to his dilemma. It is then a battle of the minds as the two different personalities battle to take control. Once again Zaks visual imagery is powerful and there is a great mix of profoundly moving scenes interlaced with eroticism, sexual depravity and splashes of great humour. I love the complex concept of the plot and the detail Zak goes into bringing the ultimate dilemma to the fore, what would you do if faced with that sort of choice? Zak goes from strength to strength as an author and this is a well deserved five star read for me

"Hope is not just an emotion. It is a promise that something else other than despair lies around the corner."

What a ride! This was such an amazing book, I can't say enough about it! I wanted to hate Gabriel in the beginning, but I just couldn't!

Gabriel is a man who doesn't settle. If he wants something, he takes it. He cares about no one but himself and he's proud to admit it. He enjoys all that money and power bring him, including the women who submit to him. Then, life throws him a curve ball. One with a 3 month expiration date. One he's not ready to accept. Putting his money toward extending his life, he undergoes a procedure, that while successful, is highly illegal - transferring his consciousness to another host. He is supposed to be able to retain his thoughts, memories, and his deviant personality.

But, what happens when he starts having memories, thoughts, and emotions that are not his own? When he can't shake the feeling of being watched? When he's drawn to a past that never included him?

Was his decision more than just a second chance to live the life he had, or is it a second chance at.....everything?

This was my first read of Zak Hardacre. I was drawn in from page one of Hemispheres, and I can't wait to read Zak's other books! I would highly recommend this one!!

This is the third Zak Hardacre book that I have read, believe me when I say he has lifted the bar and excelled himself with this one.
Gabriel, a sadistic and ruthless businessman with a terminal illness is given a choice to clutch at life, but in a host another has lost. Reflecting on his life and how much it, and he has changed since his beloved wife passed away he makes that choice.
He is swept into a world of conflicting emotions, thought processes, anger and denial. Additionally the man who orchestrated the entire project is a sinister character with more at play than you realise.
Will Gabriel win the mind battles or Ryan or Kurt? This book takes you on a dark, erotic and meandering path leaving you wondering who will win the battle for supremacy. Fantastic ending to a complex story. Well done Zak.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Wow, Zak never disappoints with his story telling. I loved the suspense and twists in this book. The imagination that this author writes about is amazing. The storyline was so intense at times it had me biting my nails.
Gabriel is a arrogant tortured soul. He felt entitled to always get his way. Can he piece the puzzles of his broken mind? You must read the book to get the answers. I recommend this tantalizing story.

Not my normal type of books but after reading the Male Escort series by the same author I was given the opportunity to read a ARC of his new book. I was hooked after reading the first few pages as I just didn't know where the story was taking me. I won't spoil the story but I just didn't want it to end. Fabulous

what can I say? Zak Hardacre has done it again. another 5 star read.
Gabriel Rosenberg rich powerful confident work in real estate and is highly successful and is well known also feared by others. He likes structure and everything to be just right.
Born a Jew though as soon as he was old enough and could make his own way, he withdrew from the faith.
His apartment has a room that he calls utopia, his inner sanctum, his pleasure room if if you  like, filled with a vast array of items. He loves women but he likes them to know their place, people could probably refer to him as a sadist though Gabriel would be likely to admit he was. Following a rather steamy sex session with Anna he realises that his symptoms are getting worse.
Following an appointment with his Dr he is not given good news and he begins thinking about another option which was told to him by his close friend George.

Roxanne works as a prostitute, she has seen some things been beaten and abused. However the worst person she has been with is Gabriel who she describes as "a sick bastard". Thus ensues a rather hot scene using an item that was new to me.

He goes to see Dr Siegfried the Dr that George has told him about, though on hearing about the procedure there are some things that he needs to take into account before deciding if he can go through with it. Decision made he soon begins a new journey. I cannot really say much more without giving away some aspects of the book and I don't wish to do that. I feel that you need you read it yourself to get the full experience.

Following the procedure Gabriel moves to a new city to begin his new life starting it the same way as his old life a depraved sexual deviant. However things start to change Gabriel is changing, though is it for better or worse. Has the whole procedure been a setup? Two personalities battling within the same person which one will be victorious?

A highly recommended read, has a slight sy-fi vibe to it, with some highly charged erotic scenes all makes for another fantastic book by Zak, can't wait to see what's next.

Omg! I seriously don't know where to start! This book totally blew me away with it's concept, character progression and Zak's choice of ending (which won't be spoiled here)!
This story is about a sadistic and arrogant Gabriel who has had some very life changing news about a brain tumour he has. He has a tough decision to make, but doesn't realise the full consequences of that decision when he finally makes it.
He decides to go ahead with an unregulated procedure, performed by Siegfried, choosing life over death, in the most novel of ways.
What Gabriel is not expecting, are the ramifications of his decision, for himself and the host body.
The journey he goes on is one of discovery, but not just of himself!
I have read all of Zak's books and I never think a book will surpass his previous release, but he always proves me wrong!
As far as I am concerned, this is Zak's best book to date, by far!
It has everything I want in a book including extremely erotic sex scenes, Love, intrigue, friendship and so much more!
There are not enough stars that could honestly reflect how good this book is... I wish I could give it way more than 5!
Hemispheres is a book that should be on everyone's kindle/e-reader/bookshelf and will be one you will want to read over and over again! Well done Zak on delivering yet another masterpiece 😉

I never know what to say when I read a book that I thoroughly enjoyed. I can never think of the right adjectives to describe the emotions I felt while reading. All I can say is that you should read Hemispheres and I know you'll be glad you did. There were times when I wanted to slap Gabriel and other times I felt he needed a hug. He's faced with making a decision that will change his life forever. Not only is it morally questionable but ethically as well. This is most definitely a 5 star read.

Ever had that moment when you finish a book and all you can murmur is, Wow! Well that is exactly what happened when I reached the final word in this incredible, beautifully crafted story.

I love a complex tale with so many layers, and Hemispheres ticked all the boxes for me. The story flowed perfectly, keeping my mind whirling and eager to turn the pages. Gabriel is certainly an interesting character and my feeling towards him yo-yo’ed throughout the book. It made me question if I ever had an opportunity as the one presented to Gabriel, would I take it?

A fascinating, intriguing storyline, Zak has certainly delivered a mind blowing masterpiece and it’s definitely one of my top reads this year.

Zak Hardacre magically puts words on a paper for readers to be engrossed in his books. He has labored and delivered his latest book "Hemispheres". Gabriel Rosenberg is a rich, immoral, sadistic, and dominant man. His personal and business life is all about structure and only his way. Gabriel and George Burns, who have been friends for 30 years, are business partners in a thriving real estate business. Gabriel has been given three months to live because of a diagnosis of a brain tumor. Will Gabriel take this opportunity to be able to live at the cost of not seeing his loved ones? And if he does, what will Gabriel find? "Hemispheres" is one of those books that got me to think of what I would do if placed in Gabriels position. This is a must read that is by far different from Zak Hardacres other books. "Assume the position" and read Zak Hardacre's latest book "Hemispheres". Well done Zak Hardacre! 5++
