Fallen Angel is the fourth episode in the career of Nurse Carmichael - that awkward, insignificant and pathetic figure, who at the same time is more dangerous to know than a black widow spider.

Released from the psychiatric ward where she has been having treatment after her suicide attempt, Carmichael takes a post as night nurse in an old people's home, run by a sinister and seedy couple.

But why did her predecessor leave so suddenly? And what is happening to the old people themselves?

Anthea Cohen combines an exciting intrigue with an unsentimental look at the seamy side of nursing.

I realise that forensic science has made great leaps and bounds in the last 20 years or so, but surely Agnes must be really lucky that she hasn't been caught at least in this case. If the police had investigated they would at least have questioned her. Fire investigators surely cannot have missed how the fire started. Luck certainly seems to be on her side.

Avenging Angel , is more like it!I love you too much

This plot is very interesting as it coming from the thoughts of a very irrational person. I don't like to give away any of the plot! The author has worked too hard to craft a story that is fascinating! Great reading!

Very intriguing story line, I found myself caught up in the story line very quickly. This is the first book by Anthea Cohen but it won't be the last. This is a quick moving story that really gets you into the story line. Would recommend this book to anyone that likes a good read.
