Welcome to the premiere of the Posey Moon Murder Mystery series! Book One in this series, Murder in Blue Moon Bay, introduces our main character, Posey Moon, along with her bestie Suze and other secondary characters that will be appearing in each book. Murder in Blue Moon Bay
is a delightful, & suspenseful
Cozy Mystery, by Constance Hope.
Posey Moon, owns Books & Brew.
She was taking a much deserved
day off, & spending the day, with her
long time best friend, Suze.
But, Posey's fuming! Her car has a flat,
& her employee, that was working for her,
that day, was not answering.
Suze picked Posey up, & they headed to the book store. Inside, Posey & Suze, made a startling discovery. Things like that, do not happen in Blue Moon Bay.
It will keep you guessing till the very end.
I enjoyed reading this story.
A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!

The author says in one of the conversations of the protagonist, "I digress." Yes, she certainly did. Many of the things in the book were not needed -- long drawn out accounts of some very minor character or something that had happened in the past. Some were even repetitious. Additionally, there were three ghosts that appeared in the book. Only the last one, which was in the epilogue, actually had a relationship with the protagonist. Admittedly, the first two ghosts thought they did something to help the Posey; however, there was no real relationship to the protagonist.

A good start to a new mystery series, the characters are very well drawn and believable (Posey in particular is a great character and a bit different from the normal twenty-something central characters in mysteries).
The plot is very clever although I have to admit that I did spot the guilty party quite a time before it is revealed in the book.
I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series.

A quaint, delectable treat

Constance Hope whets the appetite with excellent descriptions of decadent confections served in a small town book store and coffee shop. This same shop is the location of a murder that has the residents shocked and scared.

No spoilers here. I will say that I am hoping for another book soon as this was thoroughly enjoyed. The recipes were great, too. Can't wait to try them.

Loved this book! Posey Moon runs a bookstore/coffee cafe. When her lazy, rude, slovenly employee is murdered in her bookstore she is deeply offended. So Posey and her best friend Suze decide they need to find the killer so they idyllic little town of Blue Moon Bay, S.C can get back to normal. There are some plot twists and funny characters. I recommend this if you are looking for a quick easy read!

This story was fun and delightful. Posey and Suzy are hilarious as they team up and try to solve the murder of Posey’s employee. Finding a moonshine still and exposing other secrets in what they thought was a quiet little town made the story even more fun. Take a break and enjoy this story. I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.

Blue Moon Bay

Great story line with interesting characters. Some twists and turns..unfortunately I guessed the killer about half way through. However it did not ruin the book for me because I needed to know how it would unfold.

I enjoyed this book. The writing style is interesting with lots of little side commentary about all kinds of things. For me it added to the story and made the characters really come to life. I look forward to the next book in the series.

It wasn't bad but I don't think I'm the intended audience. Also, I figured out who the killer was immediately which was disappointing. I kept hoping I was wrong and they were just a red herring.
