This is light and beautiful. If you really hate math, you might struggle with it, but for me it quietly brought back the feeling of discovering mathematics when I was very young. I’m not a genius or anything, but that sense of curiosity and wonder is there, and it made me nostalgic for a time when math felt genuinely fun.
The illustrations are a bit plain at first, but as you read on, you start to understand why they’re done in this style. They create a certain mood that actually fits the story and affects how you feel while reading. Since this is just the beginning, there isn’t much plot yet, but it’s a lovely start, and I’m interested to see where it goes.
