excellent stories
Obviously different in many ways from the movie. Only similarity is the characters and that it is only the first of 7 books about Barsoom. It is fantasy more than fiction when looked at in 2024 vs the year it was written. Still a good series of stories, from the author of Tarzan. ERB was certainly an author ahead of his time.
