Christine, suddenly the most famous young soprano in the world, returns to Santa Fe to face a swarm of reporters and paparazzi. After all the excitement, and terror, of opening night at the opera, Christine expects to spend a quiet summer at the ranch before returning to Los Angeles. She instead discovers that Sangre de Cristo, is sold out for the season and she is expected to sing the lead.

The rest of the summer, and Christine’s senior year at The Belen Conservatory of Music, are a whirlwind of activity. The press goes into overdrive with the announcement of Christine’s engagement to Raoul, and world-famous fashion designers vie to design the dress.

Royalty and rock stars, billionaires and businessmen, stars of stage and screen, along with the merely wealthy and famous, descend on Santa Fe in a fleet of private jets and a mile-long private train, but will a ghost from Christine’s past derail the wedding of the century?

Christine is the fourth book in The Angel of Music series, and is based on Gaston Leroux’s novel, The Phantom of the Opera.

Alas, that was the worst book in this series. It is all about the wedding. One chapter for dresses, one chapter for adoption at the court, if you remember, Christine was going to be adopted by Erik's father... One chapter for meeting with wedding organizator... I was sooo tired reading it and sooo disappointed! There were some questions which must be solved, like Christin's relatives and, the main questoin, Erik and his disappearance... But what I've got instead? Wedding planning! Erik appeares in one chapter in person, and tree times more in short paragraphs...
Yes, I like the last chapter though, it has relations with the first book, and it was unexpected and charming. But in general - this book must have been ten times shorter and included as an epiloge into the book 3.
If there would be the book 5, I wonder...
