Hi, I live in North Wales with my lovely wife, Vicky. She's a librarian and spends lots of her time sharing stories and leading Rhymetime sessions with toddlers in local libraries.
I've written just over 100 books for young children and I'm busy writing more. When I'm not writing or spending time with my family I can usually be found visiting schools and libraries all over the place to share my love of books, reading and writing and getting children excited about the very same thing.
Why not come over and take a look at my website to find out more, follow me on Twitter or just email me to say hi! It'll be nice to hear from you...
I think this book is good for children to remind them to look after their belongings, however I felt that the book does not show enough meaning and the ending is kind of disappointing as for young children it may not make sense. The fox shows he cares for his socks however does not link to how that's means to the mice and his grandma , I think the book is kind of confusing for young children . However , the illustrations are excellent is providing the emotion that ye fox goes through when looking for his socks showing his journey to children and bringing a sense of independence of keeping his belongings safe .
Miss 4 enjoyed it and was able to start pointing out the word 'Fox'.
Miss 4 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.
