This was a good story but as highly entertaining as it was, there were so many things that realistic or make sense even a fictional land. Like why would a millionaire not get security alarm system or hire private security after their lives have been threatened? Maybe just to pile the book with break ins and poisonings on a daily basis?

I was awake til 1:30am reading this suspenseful story for I knew sleep could not come until I was finished. Of course it was well worth it for this was an exceptional read. The shocking revelations came at several instances as Ivy's life & marriages were explained. Great characters, storyline and content.

Oh my gosh, after not reading a book in months and picking up this book first. This book has so many twists and turns at times it left me speechless. Book is full of suspicious and unpredictable. Just when I thought I knew who it was , it wasn't. This was a great read.

Her 13th Husband

The twists and turns left me speechless at times. I honestly thought Ivy was faking like she didn't play a role but after everything I learned I was a bit shocked. Mama Kay was definitely her sister's keeper because she went above and beyond to provide protection when needed. I thought Cage was a bit creepy but I'm glad he finally put Ivy in the know about what was occurring around her and why. Simeon should've stayed clear and allowed the professionals to handle things. I wish things were different for Juju and Ivy got the opportunity to whip Sheree's ass just once. The culprit behind everything was a for sure shock. See what not asking the right questions and being completely sure will do! Who would've ever thought being a widow so many times would cause so much trouble. Overall I loved this book and didn't want to put it down and glad some happiness eventually came about from all the chaos.

I love ❤️ everything about this book 📖 and whats funny is my sister saw the title of the book and called me she was like “Pepper the book ur reading sound stupid”, I was like “oh yeah why u say that” she was like “it just does” so I laughed 😂😂 I asked her what she think the book may be about she was like “she must can’t keep her husband” I scream laughing 😆 saying I’m sure u and a lot more ppl think that and I told her “y’all are all wrong”...... Anyway BM Hardin this book had so many dang on twist and turns so full of suspicious 😒 I was like who the hell is taunting her they were getting on my nerves lmbo...I don’t wanna say much w/out spoilers but put it this way u got grab ur copy of Her 13th Husband!!! 😉😉

Good book

I always enjoy reading books by this author. She has catchy titles for her books and they are fast paced. I thought the book had a good concept. A little cheesy towards the end but all in all a good read. I had to take off a star because of editing. This author has been in the industry too long to keep hiring crappy editors

My Thoughts....

If you are looking for a good mystery, thriller and suspenseful read you have come to the right place because this authors novel "Her 13th Husband" was quite a read full of secrets that were simply off the chart being very well done! I thought that Ivy's 13th husband was something but their was one more that was simply crazy. With all of the twist and turns you will be kept turning the pages to see what was happening next. That Mama Kay was simply one not to be messed with as she showed how well she was definitely was a protector and 'sister's keeper.' This is definitely one of those reads that will keep your attention all the way to the very end. Thank you, thank you to the author for not giving us a cliffhanger!!! You did a wonderful job in presenting and giving your readers a well written story that worked its all the way through by answering all the questions that needed to be answered in the fantastic read.

A rollercoaster ride from beginning to end!

B.M Hardin definitely delivered with this story so far off the beaten path, you couldn’t turn away if you wanted to.

When I first started reading, I was a little put off by the plot because.... what are the chances of this really happening nowadays. However, with every swipe of the page I was pulled further and further down the rabbit hole trying to solve this stone cold who done it and WHY are they doing it! The mystery in this story had me literally SCREAMING at the characters thinking I had it all figured out just to be knocked over the head with another twist and another turn to the story leaving me more mixed up than before.

It was a great read filled with laughter, sex, murder, and revenge. An excellent way to kick off my 2018 reading!

Fast-paced...but the typos!!

The premise of the book was interesting so after reading the sample, I purchased it. Though the read was fast-paced and page turning, I was turned off and very disappointed by the excessive, unnecessary punctuation, the extra words that didn't belong and other typos.
Ending seemed kind of rushed and generic. All that being said, I'm curious to see if the other books are written this way. I want to give the author the benefit of doubt that maybe the others will have better editing than this one.

Undigestible

While this story is fairly predictable, the punctuation and sentence structure are amateurish. This author simply does not understand the proper use of commas and rather than stating "he put it inside me", it reads " he put it inside of me". This unnecessary use of superfluous wording drove me mad!! A terrible read.

I’ll start off by saying that anyone who calls their friend ugly isn’t a good person. So “Ivy” isn’t a good person so she reaped what he sewed for sure.
Because let’s be for real, it’s crazy to think that anyone could get married 13 times. And perhaps if you date people for more than a few months before you make a lifetime commitment (I don’t think she saw it as that) to them you could see flaws better? But what do I know…
She needs deep healing. Why you jumping from man to man? Like be alone!
But outside of all that, this was a hell of a mystery and I really had no clue who was the culprit! This story had deaths, attempted murder, sexual assault, and stalking. There was a little romance, too! It wasn’t a perfect read, but it was a good read! I’ll definitely check out more by this author!

Wow! I never thought this story would go like this! Talking about a mother's love! I really enjoyed this book! It kept me guessing until the very end. Just goes to show you never know the true person behind the mask! BM Hardin is an excellent author, I am loving her novels! Keep up the great work!

Marriage.  A lifelong commitment.  A vow between two lovers.  To love, honor and respect until death due us part.  That is a heavy statement for anyone to make one time, but when you make that vow multiple times people start talking.  Are you really marrying for love or is it something else?  How do you know when it's enough?

Ivy Raye is a simple woman.  She gets up and goes to work and back home she goes.  Her best friend is her mother, Mama Kay.  Ivy only has one problem, she loves to get married.  I guess that would be a good thing for any other single woman who has been looking for a mate but Ivy seems never to have a problem finding the next one.  Mama Kay doesn't seem to find a problem with Ivy marrying so many times, she just wants her daughter to be happy.  If Ivy's happy then Mama is happy, but the moment Ivy is no longer happy then it is time to move on to the next one.

Her 13th Husband is a book that will keep you looking at the pages thinking "I know she didn't!"  The way that B.M. writes this book you are just waiting on the other shoe to drop . . . And it does!  The cast of characters (no matter how short lived) will have you talking back to the book.  When they ask a question in the book, you find yourself talking to the book asking the same question!  It is a great read as usual coming from this author, I have read several of her novels and I have been pleased with each of them.  Double check you proofreading and spell check but over all it was a very good read.  I would recommend it to everyone.

The Black Widow

This book is so good. I love a good romance, drama, mystery and suspense storyline and this one did not disappoint. My attention was held from the beginning to the very end of the book. As I read and tried to figure out who was behind trying to expose and kill Ivy, who was on her 13th husband and the other 12 had died while married to her, then someone else would look like they had a reason to want her dead.
When the truth came out it was a real shock and surprise. While reading my emotions were all over the place.
I recommend this book to read and if I could I would give this book 10🌟.

Interesting

Ivy Raye and Mama Kay had a lot of secrets. Deadly secret's at that. The mind games, trickery, and lies has carried these women through life but neither one of them was prepared for the tables being turned. Ivy was paranoid and didn't have a clue why after she married Nino. Thing's took a turn for the worst. She soon realized that her past was coming back to hunt her. Mama Kay was ruthless. Her love for Ivy caused her to go above and beyond to make sure she didn't get hurt. However someone had found what Mama Kay was hiding to where she eventually had to tell Ivy a shocking truth.

The typos, my lord. It was so distracting! Using taken instead of taking, threw instead of through, scroll instead of stroll. There were also missing words in some places and extra words in others. (Rage!) The story itself wasn’t bad. Some of it was predictable. Some of was entertaining and funny when it shouldn’t have been (that’s more on me because I find humor in the most random and inappropriate situations). Some of the things that were happening were just off the wall and unbelievable, but this IS fiction so anything goes. But I was definitely side eyeing throughout the book like “really, that’s how it’s happening?”

An incredible writer. She is better than a spider spinning a web. She captivates the read from the 1st sentence. This book is her web. She held me in her web. The characters..... Mama Kay my favorite, are individuals that stand on their own merits. But the story that is told. The reality of the issue at hand. 13th Husband will have your mouth open. Did she really do that? Kudos to Ms. Hardin. Keep using the gift that God gave you. This book is awesome. Not what I expected. Enjoyed it tremendously.

Once again Ms. Hardin you had me on the edge of my seat! This is another great book of yours that has not disappointed me. I was wrapped up in all of the action and suspense. A rollercoaster ride for sure

Where do I begin. BM Hardin does not disappoint. She has a knack for writing some of the most outlandish unpredictable books and this was no different. I must say that this book kept me on edge. I enjoyed it and I was almost afraid to get to the end. Msg. Hardin is not for the faint of heart nor is her writing. She brings something totally different the the game. Her 13th Husband is written proof of this. Kudos for continuing to kick it up a notch.

I Was All In, Until...

This story had me from the beginning. The murders, the mystery. Everything just seemed to flow easily from one thing to the other. Until you get to the part where Cafe confesses everything. They're all cops. Cage and Juju falling in love with her. Nino a profiling psychologist? Someone marrying her mother to get close her? All of that really stretched the bounds of credibility to me. But that aside, it was a good read, that I would definitely recommend. Definitely will be looking for more from this author.

Potential to one day be Headline News

Even though this book was a bit exaggerated I had to keep in mind that it’s fiction and fiction can take an author in any direction they choose.

With that being said I can see someone getting away with marrying 13 husbands and 12 of them being dead in real life. This book is not beyond reason however, I just didn’t like the way the story neatly came together in the end. It was too tidy for me.

But I still love the author and her works.

WOW!!!!! BM Hardin Never Disappoints

What an amazing and very unpredictable book. There are so many surprises that I didn't know which way to turn. This book was well thought out and I had an amazing time reading. It will definitely have you wondering what and who. I stayed on the edge of my seat, and I loved the ending. Ivy, Mama Kay, Nino and Cage will definitely keep you on the edge of your sear wanting more .
