Siarra
Sweet, smart, innocent Addilyn. The little nine year old girl that frequents the library that I work in. Who knew that dropping her off home one day after work would change everything? Well that was how I met him – Psycho – Addie’s father. What else? Well, he just happened to be the president of the local motorcycle club the Rulers of Darkness who was known for their not so legal activities and the danger surrounding them.
The issue? He wants his daughter in his life and so do I. I was committed to her after all of these years goddamit and he was practically a stranger. Neither of us are willing to bend so now we must coexist. It wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t for the constant teasing about my choice in clothes or my glasses or the way I liked books and learning. That was the least of it. Having to be around a man that aggravated me, tried to boss me around, tell me what to do and how to do it, and drove me - MAKE ME WANT TO SCREAM - out of my mind was pure hell. Not to mention he was my god, hot damn, sexy and made me have all types of thoughts that were totally irrational and out of line. I mean, how can I fantasize about someone I absolutely couldn’t stand? I’ll keep all my dreams – or should I say nightmares – to myself. If I happen to enjoy them in the moment then fine, but I was not going to cross that line with him. Nope.

Psycho
Siarra, the little pain in my butt nut job. The girl was a bonafide pint sized crazy person. Most times, I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to brain her or bang her brains out.
My little girl was crazy about her, therefore I couldn’t quite get rid of her and bury the body… no matter how much she made me want to. The little librarian nerd had a temper that outrivaled some men. Heck, she’s scared a few of the toughest I know. What’s my biggest problem with her you wanna know right?
Her dorky glasses, tight as sin teddy bear pajamas – sans bra, fiery attitude, and fierce protectiveness made me crazy. I was constantly horny around her and I knew that I needed to stay away from her because if I had her I was gonna own her. That wouldn’t work out so well with the whole Addie thing being in the middle. She made my inner caveman come out at all times. But it aint gonna happen, I can hold back. Now, me keeping myself from strangling her is a promise I don’t know if I can keep…

I have always been an avid reader. As a child, I dreamed of writing books like The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I used to write so many things in my journal. None of which were actual diary entries but chapters for stories in my head.

It wasn't until recently where I had the courage to take something I actually wrote myself and upload it. It took a lot of coaxing from friends, but in the end, they won.

I didn't think that anyone would be interested in my books, but the feeling I got when I saw my book - something that I wrote - on Amazon for purchase... there's just no words to describe how overwhelmingly happy and shocked I was.

So what happened next? All of those new chapters and stories that I wrote and normally leave on my desktop taking up memory on my computer's hard drive also made their way to Amazon. I write because I have stories in my head and I like them enough, that I don't want them to be forgotten. I know as a reader I believe that stories and memories are meant to be shared. I only hope that my readers get as much satisfaction from reading my books, as I do writing them.

So, I can't get my head around the fact this book has 3.97 rating - it was horrible, beyond horrible.
The grammar that could have easily been fixed before being published irked me a lot, especially the wrong use of words and punctuation. Aghhh! But the characters? Yeah, a big fat 0.
At first I thought it would be cute with a dorky librarian and a alpha biker, however the librarian has multiple personalities and the biker is the most verbally abusive man ever.
I am all for a rough and rugged guy that drops the "f" bomb however someone that calls his own kid a bitch..um no! Numerous times? Fuck no..
Then other things pop out like when the mothers of the girls came over for xmas, and biker comes to make out with geeky libararian right in the front of them? Drops hundreds of fuck words and then calls her a bitch, and the moms swoon? Get the fuck out!
She goes to have sex with him not even ten minutes later, screams the place down, and the moms are cheering her on, with their kids right there? I'd be out that place so quick, WITH my child. Author must research a bit more about what makes someone a decent mother.
Author was trying to make this female heroine into a strong woman that doesn't take shit from anyone but swoons when hero calls her a bitch, as well as his kid. This was a big fat 0 for me.

Premise had potential but execution sucks. Writing was clunky and book needed a good editor. Hero keeps on calling the heroine and his daughter as ‘his bitches’. It was seriously annoying.

Siarra knows she shouldn't have favorites when it comes to the kids that frequent the library but she has one, Addilyn. She knows her home life is not good and when she gives her a ride home she finds herself in the direct path of Psycho, a biker who is the President of The Rulers of Darkness MC.

Psycho just learned he had a nine year old daughter and he is pissed to find out her life has been a nightmare thus far. He doesn't expect a nerdy librarian to get in his face and protect Addilyn, Psycho and Addilyn come to a loose agreement where Addilyn is concerned and Psycho finds that he is drawn to Siarra. He wants her but believes she doesn't want him. They fight like cat and dogs, the attraction is off the chart. What is it going to take to push Siarra and Psycho together and can it last?

I went between a 3 and 4 star rating but in the end I enjoyed this story. The book has some grammatical flaws and I did get a bit tired of Psycho's language. That being said I liked the plot line and I thought Siarra was a hoot. If you like biker stories one to pick up.

Crazy librarian

This was a pretty slow burn MC romance. I’ve never read one like it before and wasn’t sure I’d like it as I usually expect and receive something hot and heavy. But in the end, I loved it! Just wish there was an epilogue.

i thoroughly enjoyed this book though there were a few spots where the editing fell down. the story itself was a bit cliched, the basic plot being fairly popular in current mc romances but it was an interesting take on the play and i loved all the main characters. loved the humour and the sweetness & sass. so looking forward to reading tank's book

This is an okay book. In fact I never thought that I would like this. This book is kinda nice but too lengthy. I got myself interested but it was getting repetitive and boring. So I skimmed through but still it was going on and on. So I had to give up. Maybe I will try reading it again sometime.

I loved the characters in this book. Plenty of humour, action and a dash of feels. The writing was a little choppy at times and the editing wasn’t great but the strength of the characters and their banter kept me hooked.

Love me some Sia and Psycho

Amazing story ! I loved Psycho . He was super jealous and possessive and never cheated . Sia was sweet but when she needed to be she could be psycho too . She took care of his daughter like she was her own . Their is a hidden gem and even with all of the grammatical and spelling errors it was still worth the read .

Cute intro to the series

Good story. Pretty well written - it actually got smoother the further along you got in the story. Grumpy hero is far too tame for this guy, lol. The heroine is a riot.

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Trope: enemies to lovers
Angst: 😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥
Triggers: none

Started out with a bang but fizzled out for me. The characters and dialogue really belong to young people and was, at times too funny and at the same time so immature. I can see a younger adult really enjoying this book. The basic love story was pretty good, however the execution just didn't meet my taste. As I stated, I'm sure there are a lot of readers who will enjoy the book. It's lite, no darkness, more so along the lines of a gang and not a MC.

I loved the premise of this book. I liked how Sia was true to herself and rather kicka$$. I loved Addilyn too. She was such a sweet little girl and went through so much heartache in her young life. I wasn’t keen on ‘Psycho’. His view of women was appalling. Yes I understand the biker lifestyle and what it entails, but calling women ‘bitches’ ESPECIALLY one whom is looking after your child, that’s not on. I didn’t like the reference. Club workers - I can handle that, but not a 9 year old girl and Sia.

There was a lot of good in this book. One of the issues that let it down was the dialogue and the spelling/grammatical errors. I know that authors put their heart on the line to release their babies into the public and they hold their breath hoping that their books are liked and successful, but if you are expecting money for these said works, the works should be proof read before released. This is fraught with errors. An example is when you are describing sculpted muscles, they are ‘taut, not ‘taught’. Taught is when you are receiving instruction. Like a teacher taught her students history on Monday. I know it is a simple thing, but when you have these mistakes, it throws the reader off. I had to re read sentences and paragraphs to make sense of what the author was trying to convey. It chucked me out of the story. Also the details were missed. Addilyn got a dog. But when she was taken, and Psycho went to Sia’s house after Sia disappeared, there was no dog. So where did Ironman go? Was he still at Sia’s home? Or was he at the compound?

Still I persevered and finished the book in one day. I will be looking out for the next story, I got the feeling that there is a big story between Tank and Danny. It will be interesting to see what the author comes up with. But if it’s a MM romance, I’ll have to pass. That’s not my bag. I did like the child sex trafficking arc and how it brought attention to the disgusting practise.

This wasn’t the worst book out there, but if it got some BETA readers and a good editor, it would be great. Please, if you are proud of your work, and I know you are, spend the time and money to put a polished book out there.

This was a book I dug out from my TBR from some years ago, I honestly didn't even remember what it was called but for once the endless saving of links and screenshots served me well.

I wanted to love this, admittedly this was my first biker romance, though I have many more on my TBR, so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but I knew I wanted to love this book… unfortunately the best I could do was mostly like it.

The concept is amazing and had so much promise. I loved Siarra, a sexy, well-intentioned nerd with a temper and a heart of gold, honestly it reminded me of my BFF. And the moments between Siarra and Addilyn, the long-lost daughter of an MC President, so sweet and perfect.

My issue was, mostly, with Psycho, our leading man, and it's a problem I've had with more than one of them. The way he speaks to/thinks about the FMC and even his daughter, rubs me the wrong way. Even in his nice moments the inner monologue just feels…problematic. I love lust, I am fine with annoyance, I can get behind swearing, but sometimes what he's thinking or even threatening… it's not appealing. It feels like he's crossing lines in a way that just aren't necessary.

I will also say that at certain points Siarra's unique voice seems to blend a bit too much into Psycho's style of thinking/talking, and while they're bound to influence each other it just felt out of character to me. The other thing is that there are some spelling errors, or missing words which can happen but the frequency for me felt like it took me out of the book. Because it wasn't on Kindle Unlimited I bought it in order to read it and while I don't necessarily regret it, I don't know if I'll read it again.

Siarra Sabatini - librarian

Addilyn "Addie" Porter - will be going into 4th grade, has lived with her aunt Maggie since her mother dropped her off when she was 3 years old, Siarra has taken her home from the library when it's to late to walk

Alejandro "Alex" "Psycho" "Sy" Mercado - head of the Eulers of Darkness MC and Addilyn's dad.

Shelly - Addie's mom

Maggie - Shelly's sister, Addie's aunt that she had lived with since she was 3 years old

----------
During the summer months Addilyn spends her days at the library ready books above her grade level. Ms Sia will driver he home on the days it is to late, or to dark, for her to walk home. She lives with an aunt who is her guardian. Most times her aunt doesn't even know she's been gone.

This time she is driven home she tenses up. Siarra picks up on this and walks her to the door, even though she didn't want her to. When she walks her to the door there is a loud fight going on inside. She has Addie hide and goes in to see what is going on. That is when Siarra meets Addie's dad, Psycho. He finally leaves and Addies aunt makes Siarra take her.

Addie's aunt had taken Addie when she was 3 years old as long as her mother sent monthly checks. She figured if Addie went to live with her dad she would still get the checks so she didn't care where Addie went.

It takes Psycho two days to find out who Siarra is. When he does, he goes to the library to confront her. It's then that he sees Addie. After listening to Siarra and Addie converse he asks if he can see her. She invites him to her house at 8:45 to meet and talk with Addie . . . and the story really begins.

This turned out to be such a good read! The plot itself was okey, but what really sold me were the characters. I loved Psycho's and Sia's personalities. She is a geeky librarian, who sometimes turned into a she-demon if you anger her while still looking like a complete dork and he's a scary badass Prez of a MC club that everyone is afraid of, except the little girl who's got him wrapped around her finger. They're a match made in heaven, right? I did find Sia and Sy's interactions ridiculous at times, but in an amusing sort of way. They were fun to read about.
The story was slow going, but I was definitely enjoying it. What spoiled it for me was the ending. First, I think that the whole situation with Acid was a little far-fetched. I mean, Sia should have just called Sy the moment she found the warehouse, instead of going on some badly thought through mission that she probably saw in some action movie and decided to reenact. That all could have gone a lot easier and less cliche. But while I can get past that, what really got to me was the sheer idiocy of the last few (two, was it?) chapters. Or more specifically- that ridiculous argument that Sia came up with. I absolutely hate fights based on miscommunications or misunderstandings and that is exactly what happened here. She saw something, came with her own ridiculous explanation for it and then got upset. And he let her.
That argument is the main reason I'm not giving this book the four stars rating.

Great story but....

I really liked the story with the kid bringing them together. Liked all the characters, though i couldn’t fully figure out the kids age through most of the book, sometimes she seemed like a teenager and sometimes she was really young, based on the things she said.
The entire book did have way too many errors, though not bad enough for me to stop reading (which I have for many books with horrible spelling, punctuation etc errors) mostly punctuation, misspelled words and even a few missing words but like I said wasn’t too bad that it ruined the story, though I would have wanted a refund if I had paid for this book with the amount of errors it has. Most of the errors are so small that the author should be a little embarrassed. Though in a few places I feel like an entire sentence was missing, they would mention something like a sound but it took a paragraph or two before I understood what they were talking about.
Psycho doesn't seem Psycho enough to me, he doesn't really seem much of a bad guy really. I didn't like that he called all women bitches, even his young daughter, though he mostly did say it derogatorily, I still didn't like it.

Questions I have after reading.
****may contain small spoilers*****
What happened to the dog? And why would she be so scared and mad about it at first then suddenly she was OK with it.
Why did she allow Psycho to continuous call her bitch, but yelled and argued about everything else? I get that he wasn’t calling her bitch in a derogatory way but why wouldn’t she at least bring it up
Why is she so strong most of the time, not putting up with his shit at all, yet several times became weird and insecure about what to call their relationship, if they were exclusive, and did he love her, even though he continuously called her his, and no one else could have her.

it was okay

Not sure how to review this book. In all honesty I wasn’t sure if I was going to finish, but if an author takes the time to write a book and I start to read, I feel that I should finish it. Okay so the characters, I really wanted to like them, but it was a struggle. Everything felt forced, Siarra’s character was all over the place, and a bit of a doormat, the action that finally got her to walk was so low down the list wrongs from Psycho. Now Psycho, he was annoying beyond belief, his alpha ways were downright infuriating, but not in the way I normally love from my MC books.

I liked the bits of humour throughout the book and the way the MC brothers feared Sia and Addie was funny. I’m not sure if the author was trying to introduce the characters and set the scene for future books, but for me if kind of fell flat. The book was littered with typos and unfortunately too many of them did interrupt the flow of the story. I know it was explained early on that a certain word was a term of endearment in Psycho’s world, but it did grate after a while 🤷‍♀️

Not sure that I would read any more in this series, sorry 😞

Odd, hysterical, sweet and fiul mouthed

The Librarian is not your average romance. Sia is sweet, at first, but has a temper so hot it sends bikers running in fear. It's a good thing she uses her super power to protect Sy's daughter, Addie. Her discovery shook the club president but once he knew about her he made sure she was cared for. He wants so bad to be good father. He's crude, opinionated, bossy as hell and has no clue how to handle the glorious geek that is Sia. His little girl is a bit of a braniac, too, so he has his hands full. While they never exactly explain how the club stays solvent a scene later shows that they're not stranger to violence.

This was a fun read. The speech patterns threw me at first but once you sound it out it flows better. Bikers doing the sprinkler and karaoke sounds hysterically awesome. And the Xbox beatings? Ha! Some of it didn't mesh and contradict but as a whole it is a very fun read. I'm interested to see if the next book features Tank and the rescue they took in.

A few things bothered me about this book and the simple fact that he referred to the h and his daughter as bitches in his mind and never in a negative kind of way isn't at the top.
- So they never brought up "club business" but then he had to stay with the h's house for a couple of weeks b/c he was being watch but never brought it up again. Did that problem just magically disappear?
-Second if the dad changed all of his daughters information so that only he and the h were aloud to pick the little girl up from school how was the mother aloud, the school had to have known that the little girl's mother wasn't in the picture that didn't add up.
-Third if the h followed the man to the warehouse why didn't she call for help help right away why wait 4 HOuRS OUTSIDE just to follow Acid into a club, that's DUMB AS FUCK, just so she can bump into at the club just so he can bring back to the same warehouse, AND LOCK YOU ASS UP IN A DOG CAGE NEXT TO THE LITTLE GIRL YOU COULD HAVE SAVED HOURS THE FUCK AGO JUST DUMB SHIT !!!!!!!!

This book has great characters and a good plot. I was very entertained by the dork and the badass! It was funny at times, had great chemistry, lots of denial and at times, plenty of action. All the ingredients were there and I really enjoyed it. But there were problems, though, too. And normally they don’t bother me too much, but in this book there were plenty of places where a good editor could have made the difference between a 3.5 Star read and a 4.5 Star read....and I say this only because the the errors make the reader reread sentences to be sure you understand it correctly and it happened enough that it was annoying. It has such a great plot that I kept going, but that one thing could have made a good book even better for the reader. Another thing was...no way was it even slightly believable that the club guys were afraid of Sia’s crazy. Just no way. No doubt that the author is talented and I’ll be picking up more of her books in the future.

The story line was a 5 star.

The believability of the characters.....maybe a 2.

Their character traits didn't match the dialog. Pyscho was a decent guy who really was a good father but his dialog and thoughts totally didn't add up. I get that he was a MC prez and all but he really was a good guy.

The language used around other kids and his own was a turn off. He would not have spoken that way. And the other adults would not have accepted it. I know it's an MC story but....

Also there was way too many grammar mistakes which made it difficult to read at times. The time lines didn't always add up. At one time Pyscho was coming over to talk but he was told to show up at 8:45pm. After talking to his daughter an hour they ate dinner. Who feeds a nine year old at 10PM? It seemed that was the norm. When Siarra hid her phone with her location she was at the club. How did Pyscho know she was in the warehouse by the pinging. Details Belle. You need better editors!

Damn, i didn't expect THAT, it was hot!
I love Sienna's character (i like strong women and she is AMAZING), one star lost because i hate the "bitch" comment... but seriously Sienna's character was everyhting (same with Addelyn btw) and the MCs were hot together!

That being said i completly understand people being completly turn off by the amount of "bitch" Sy called Sienna and how Sy acted with her in general, in "reality" that would pissed me off and this in other book would annoy the heck out of me (and it did annoy me) so i prefer to clarify it for the people who will read my review and compare it to the others with less stars: i manage to rate this high because i try to "forget" the bitch comment or i try to took it more "affectionnally" (even if in real life, if a guy dare call me bitch one day he better be prepared for his face to met my fist...) but i try consider it as when i call my sister "bitch" with all my love and she does the same :D

Excellent fun story. Laugh out loud a couple times. Super sweet characters full of sass and vinegar. I stayed up all night reading this one.

I would have loved it, but it was so full of grammar and editing errors that I gave up looking for them. Typos. Wrong words. Missing words. Made up words (niched instead of nixed). They are truly a detraction from the flow of the story. But the story itself was fun.

I was a bit turned off by Sy (Psycho) constantly calling Sia bitch. Like this is her title or an endearment. I know it probably was to him, but I found it a bit too much. And Sia never called him on it.

There is more to this story. Book two takes up with Tank and Danny. Despite the things I did not like about this one, I am eagerly looking forward to reading more. So because of that, I bumped up my rating. It has enough to bug me and make this a three star read, but I REALLY liked it! And I want more. So it went up to a four.

I liked the premise of this book, I loved Sia and Addie, and I even liked Sy - what I didn't like was the constant use of the word 'b*tch', I realize that this is an MC book - but really since when do you constantly call the one you care about b*tch. I could deal with Sy's constant dressing down of Sia - her clothing, her taste in books and movies - but would a compliment hurt. When he was fixing Misty's shirt - *ahem *ahem - that was falling off, almost exposing a boob, and Sia walks in and sees this, is hurt by what she sees, leaves - and Sy has no clue why she is upset - what a dolt. But yes I enjoyed the book, and Tank - what a hoot!!!

I don't ever complain about the grammar in a book - stuff happens and things are missed, but this book, way to many missed mistakes and grammatical errors.

A MUST READ!!! Loved Sia's (the main female lead's) character. Her personality when she's upset is hilarious.

This was the first book I've from this author that I had to find out if she had more. Thank goodness she did. The last 3 days have been nothing but my head in one of her books and very little sleep.

Next, I read Hades Riders MC: The Complete Series. Third was Rambridge Security, and finally, I just finished reading Provocation.

I'm about to start reading The Laws of Love because I couldn't find the next part of Provocation, but I had to take a moment a write a review for this incredibly gifted author.

To The Author:

Thank you for publishing these stories. Life is not always peachy, and escaping in a good book is less expensive when you're on a budget and have no outlet to get rid of stress and forget the problems of everyday life.

Be bless.

Respectfully,
MJ

I loved the description of this book and it propelled me into reading the whole story. Psycho and Sia couldn’t have been more opposites of they tired. For the most part I really did love it. Add in A super cute kid, great secondary characters, I enjoyed it. I hated the way Psycho was though. I love MC novels and read my fair share of them but I really struggled with his inner dialogue. Sometimes it made no sense to me or seemed like he was being overly harsh to make him seems bigger and badder but all it did was turn me off. The overall story and plot was very enjoyable and engaging. I would try another book in this series to see if maybe it was just this hero that rubbed me wrong. 3 stars #2OCCJD
