I admit that this piqued my curiosity since it has such high ratings both on GR and Amazon. I usually enjoy steamy Pride and Prejudice variations when they're done well. But this is NOT a book targeting the JAFF audience. I do enjoy the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, so I'm not a prude. This has none of FSoG's sweetness. It's just plain dirty. Fine for some, but not my cuppa tea.

It's obviously modern. Darcy is a self-made billionaire in the porn industry and has a huge penis. Lizzie is one of five "Bennet Babes" (not sisters) who run cam sites from the bedrooms in their Playboy-like mansion as they verbally tease, seductively move, strip, and masturbate in their online shows to entertain paying viewers. From what I gather in the bit that I read, both Lizzie and Darcy have massive sex drives and strong, dominant personalities. When they hook up (in the dirtiest connotation of the phrase), their sexual chemistry involves a back-and-forth of power. This is true in their business negotiations, too.

The author uses names that are either identical or obvious variations of those from Pride and Prejudice, but the plot and characters don't seem to resemble the originals much, at least not in the opening chapters I read. Perhaps the book evolves into something more similar further into the story, but I wasn't interested enough to stick around and find out.

The writing is good in that it's appropriate to the subject matter... very in-your-face, lots of blunt, impolite language, F-bombs, etc. I can't fault it from a technical standpoint (grammar, spelling). It's written in first person, alternating between Lizzie and Darcy. There's a pretty good story here, as Darcy and "Hawk" Wickham (a former porn star) are vying with each other to buy the Bennet Babe business. Darcy struggles to balance his lust for Lizzie with his intention to never mix business with pleasure.

I don't think it would be fair for me to post a star rating; I didn't finish, and the book delivers what the title promises even though I didn't care for it personally.

Alexis Angel has skillfully written a story that captivated me from beginning to end. This wildly hot and naughty story will definitely leave you drooling for more. Packed with a bit of humor, explosive chemistry and lots of hot steamy scenes, you'll be left in a puddle of lust.

I don't really know how to rate this. The book ended at 20%. SERIOUSLY. There was some story but it was mostly scenes after scenes. A bit more adventurous than i would normally read. The plot was not at all believable. Will is a self made millionaire who owns sex industry businesses Lizzy is a cam girl. He is thinking about buying the business that she works for and they have a quick relationship. Then out of nowhere they take a major step and the book ends. I can't say i was disappointed, it is what it is. But i was expecting more to happen story wise than what did. The ending just felt abrupt.

Jane Austen will probably be turning in her grave after reading this and, maybe, wondering why she didn't write this in the first place. I confess that pride and prejudice by Jane Austen was the book that captured my imagination when I was 11 years old and I've loved it ever since. I've read quite a few of the alternate versions of P&P but none quite like this. If you're new to Alexis Angel's books then this is going to be one heck of a ride for you as Miss Elizabeth is no prim and proper miss as she is in the original. I loved that she was a strong and determined young woman like the original and didn't have to have a man to be the woman and person that she wanted to be. As for Darcy, he was, of course, tall, proud, arrogant, presumptuous and ready to go after Lizzie as he knew from the moment that he saw her that she would be his. Whickham, whom I never like in any of the versions is equally such a slime ball , in my opinion, and I'm so pleased that Lizzie did not succumb to his dubious "charms". The thought of Lizzie working in the sex industry appealed to my sense of humour. Unlike the original, Darcy and Lizzie are not going to be circumspect and can hold more than hands in public. Full on hot and heavy sexual scenes that will make you melt so have the air con on and enjoy this sexy read. This is a real page turner and it was so easy to love Lizzie and Darcy in this version too. A great read that you won't want to put down and, of course, as it says in the description, it is very filthy! Enjoy.

Lizzie is a no nonsense woman that has her own web cam show and makes good money at it too,,, many people have paid for her to show them a good time, but none got to her, ever,,,, like "Mr. Big".....

You really MUST read this book,,, the things they do with, to and for each other,,,, as well, as the story line,,,, The bidding on the business "Bennett Babes",,,,, between Darcy and this guy "Hawk",,, the things that are done in this book,,,, I really think a bucket of ice near you wouldn't hurt,,, you can drink it about 1/2 way thru it,,,,, then I recommend getting more ice,,,,

Darcy is a wealthy man used to getting anything he wants and he wants Lizzie so he looks into buying Bennett Babes where she works as a cam girl. Lizzie knows her own mind and isn't afraid to show it even when its live on her cam show. She is shocked when a client drops a good bit of cash one night and she calls him Mr. Big and all his dirty talk just makes her want him more. What she doesn't know is that Mr. Big aka Darcy is trying to buy Bennett Babes and if he does that changes things for them. However upon meeting him Lizzie knows she'll do anything that she'll do anything to have him any way she can get him. So its no surprise that they end up having sex in her cam room. However she wants Hawk Whickham to buy the business so things don't have to end with Darcy. Will Darcy by the company and keep Lizzie around?

OMG! This is a twist on Pride and Prejudice that even I couldn't believe but I loved it. This was an amazing story that any reader is going to love. Now if you haven't read anything by Alexis Angel then be prepared for an experience like you've never had before. I loved how Darcy and Lizzie came together and really enjoyed this book. I can't wait for more by this author.

Alexis Angel has once again written a scorchingly hot book. This book was so enticing I could not put it down. The characters of Will Darcy and Lizzie were so well developed and so full of life. Their story is not one for the feint of heart. Darcy is a successful businessman who has made millions off the sex industry. Lizzie is a young woman who makes her living by doing cam stripping. Darcy is looking to acquire the business that Lizzie works for and once he sees her on video and they chat he's instantly smitten. Their chemistry once they meet in person is off the charts. They cannot get enough of each other and explore all kinds of sexual fantasies with each other. Their relationship is built on their sexual chemistry but can their feelings go deeper? You need to read this book to find out. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. The story is full of sexual situations that will give you butterflies. I loved how the story ends. I definitely recommend this book and give it 5 stars.

Wow what a naughty dirty little book!!  In the best way that only Alexis Angel can give!  I really liked the storyline behind this one and the idea of Bennet Babes. We all know the cam girls are out there so this was a way to see their side. And of course make it naughty and fun. I also loved Lizzie. That she was a strong woman with such a hold on her sexuality and didn't care about anyone else's opinions was a nice breath of fresh air. Loved this one. Be prepared to take a shower when you are done to hose off!  I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I struggled to get into this book the back and forth between Darcy and Lizzie drove me crazy, the constant struggle for power and mind games is not my thing but the sex scenes where as hot as ever and so that was enjoyable, Darcy is the billionaire that gets what he wants and treats the women he is with as disposable until he meets Lizzie on a web cam sex site he wants to buy and her attitude that draws him in and he has to have her but she puts up a fight and Darcy loves this about her because she puts him in his place time and time again but that’s the game to him letting her think she has control when she never had it at all. Loved this book. Alexis Angel can do no wrong. Lizzie was a kick butt chick she ran a business. A website called Bennet Babes a webcam business that caters to men's needs all done on camera. She takes no mess. Darcy is a business man who uses escorts to satisfy his needs. Can you imagine what happens when these two meet. Let me tell you you will need a nice iced cold glass of water even in this colder weather. These two are combustible together. This is a story you should not miss. I voluteered to read this arc for my honest review. Loved the story behind all the sex, and yes there was plenty of hot sex. Darcy has money, women, and a lifestyle that any man would kill for. He wants for nothing, until he meets Lizzie. She lives in a mansion with other beautiful women and does online sex shows for lots of money. Darcy has seen her and now that he knows her he has to have her. The sex is fantastic, Lizzie is smart and beautful and everything he did not know he wanted. But if he buys the mansion and the rights to the girls ,can he be her boss and still have her? Or will it ruin everything. Good story with a great ending and lots of hot sex in between.

Lizzie has one smart mouth and she doesn’t let anyone take advantage of her. She’s a cam girl and one of the most in demand ones out there which equals $$$$$ . Darcy is the top CEO in the adult industry biz. He is a man with rules which Lizzie will temp him and definitely cause him to break. They are electric whenever they are near each other , the sizzle and pop show is what I call it. They are freaking hot together and the sexual tension is high. I loved these characters and this story is insanely hot. You do not want to miss out on this story!!

An x rated take on Pride and Prejudice...

I didn’t particularly take to this book, I love pride and prejudice and this didn’t sit well with me... it’s nothing personal against the author, I just found myself skimming a lot and even that took me days to do.

Lizzy is a Bennett babe, a cam girl living in a mansion with the other Bennett Babes, they have a good life earning from their cam shows, but the mansion is up for sale and Will Darcy comes along as an interested party especially interested in Lizzy. Can he buy the business and get the girl whom he’s had the most amazing sex with? Or will someone else out bid him for the mansion?

Sexy fun story
Oh my, I really enjoyed reading this book. Lizzie is a smart a$$ and doesn’t let anyone take advantage of her. She’s a cam girl and one of the most profitable. Darcy is the top CEO in the adult industry. He has some rules. Lizzie just might make him break every one of them! They are like firecrackers going off! Of course there are over the top sexy scenes! Light bdsm scenes! Its all fun times! Alexis decided to give her readers a little bonus of several stories at the end. I enjoyed reading another of Alexis’ stories.

What an fantastic twist on the Pride and Prejudice classic! I loved that Lizzie was sexy, confident and smart. She knew how to get what she wanted, and she was honest about it. Darcy was a mega successful businessman wanting to acquire the cam girl company Lizzie was working at, and the twists and turns as their initial attraction builds up into something more interferes with their own personal goals. I thought this was a sexy but well written story, with characters we already felt like we knew.

I’m not sure how Alexis keeps doing it but please don’t stop.
Another incredibly hot and steamy read that I just couldn’t put down.
I loved everything about Lizzie. Quite refreshing to have a strong woman who owned her sexuality and was damn proud.
Lizzie and Darcy have some explosive chemistry with some wildly steamy moments including the off the charts threesome with Madeline.
Definitely left me panting for more. I think I need a very cold shower to cool down.

This is an X-rated version of Pride and Prejudice and does it deliver on the sexual chemistry. The characters are strong and determined and the storyline is very good. The author really has a sense of ironic humor by depicting the H/h as being involved in the sex industry. Well done! This is an entertaining read.

This is a hot one. Darcy is a super rich hottie looking to buy a cam girl business. Lizzie is one of the cam girls, living in a big house altogether. I like how they all are with each other, like a little family. Lizzie is sassy and confident, acts like it's no big deal to have a billionaire like Darcy on the hook. The banter between these two is great as well as the heat.

This was an enjoyable read, super steamy like you come to expect from an Angel book. I received an arc of this.

I usually enjoy Alexis Angel’s books, but not so much this time.
I did enjoy the way it was told, mostly by Lizzie and her way of not taking shit.
I thought it was too much. The first half if the book could have been shorter. The BDSM just didn’t do it for me. It wasn’t right.
It was hit and Intense, but it wasn’t enough for me. Sorry.

Alexis Angel is the Queen of hot and dirty, this story is a loosely based modern twist on an old classic, Darcy and Lizzie Bennett and was really good, the chemistry between the two was off the charts, and the sex, x-rated.

In terms of sex, this story delivers; however, in the emotions "department", I expected more--I even think a couple of the sexual encounters could have been replaced by Darcy and Lizzie actually talking to each other, which I was told they actually do, only off the page.
