Ajay Devgn: Mr. Consistent Of Bollywood

Rate this book
With a career spanning 3 decades, Ajay Devgn has come a long way in Bollywood. He is still going great guns, and there are all chances that we are yet to see the very best of him on screen. He has only refined himself with age, and from the days of Phool Aur Kaante and Dilwale to the very recent Baadshaho and Golmaal Again, he has convincingly played an eclectic range of characters.Consistency has been his hallmark, both in terms of acting as well as the box office performance of his movies. An ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, Ajay also did a movie called Shivaay last year, which did reasonably well despite being caught in the demonetization wave. He definitely knows how to choose good roles and films, and who can forget his spectacular role-play in the suspense-filled movie, Drishyam?

While There Is No Denying That There Is Little Or Almost Nothing New In This Rather Short Star Biography That’s Almost Like A Summary On One Hand And An Essay On The Other Hand Done By An Excited Fan Rather Than A Professional Author. After All An Actor Of The Stature Of Ajay Devgn Definitely Deserved An In-depth Read To Highlight The Finer Nuances And Some Unknown Facts About The Actor Who Measures His Words And Speaks Reluctantly. As He Wants His Work To Speak For Him-Loud & Clear.
But Let Me Quickly Add Without Any Hesitation That Amit Ahalawat Has Done A Refreshingly Fine Job And More Than The Facts Reproduced In This Biography It Is The Neat Presentation That Remains With The Readers. If One Holds Any Grudge Against The Author It Is That It Is Really Too Short. Just When You Start Enjoying The Read Totally Immersed In The Book It Is Already Over. But Then How Much Can An Author Possibly Tuck Into An 08 Page Short Read? In A Nutshell All One Can Say About This Biography That It Is Almost Akin To The Hindi Proverb “Gagar Mein Sagar”.
Being A First Time Read From Amit Ahalawat It Sure Is An Interesting Read That Makes One Pick Up Another One Of His Several Reads No Sooner As This Star Biography Is Wrapped Up In A Single Start To Finish Read.
