A pair of shoes won't change your life... But a diamond collar just might. I only have two passions in life - my jewelry making business, and women. And I like to indulge in both, any chance I get. And then I stumble upon her - Ella Monroe. Sassy but shy. Innocent but sexy. So sweet I know no other man has tasted her. She's my housekeeper's stepdaughter. Off-limits. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Collaring Cinderella (stand-alone). Virgin Cinderella is collared & debauched by her prince!

“Her dainty little feet carried her out of the hall, through the main door and far, far away. And I didn’t chase after her, because I knew she’d be back for more. There was no way she could fight the attraction between us.”

Collaring Cinderella (stand-alone) is an erotic modern take on a classic. High school graduate Ella Monroe is swept off her feet collared by her charming commanding and possessive “prince” heir to a jewelry empire Rafael Gooldwyn. Rafe with the blessing of a fairy godmother and complicated by the evil step mom.

Told from dual POVs, it’s a contemporary erotic May-December fairy-tale. The perfect, fast-paced in-between for when you are in the mood for OTT kink and a brooding, possessive and intense hero staking his claim.

“Mine,” Rafael told me simply. “Now everyone will know who my little princess belongs to.”

One word: Cliché! 🙄😒🙄

I mean what possibly can I hope from the rewritten novel of Cinderella. 😁 But I just finished a heavy series and since I haven’t read MF in a million years, I wanted to give it a go again. 😑

And my fellow readers, Shin is officially done with MF. 😂 As of now. Unless they are incest or a truly unique storyline, I’m never touching them again. ❌❌❌

I don’t even know what to say about what’s wrong with this novel because there are too many. 😂 First of all, am I the only one who thinks Rafe calling Ella “princess” all the time is creepy? 😒 And who knows a woman is virgin or not just by looking at them? 🙄 The portraying of stepmother is the epic fail! 🙄 Deflowering Ella is an epic mess. 🙄 Who does their first time outside buttnaked on the grass while fu*king snowing? 🙄 And what virgin says “oh F me deep and hard” just after the co*k went inside FOR THE FIRST TIME? 🙄😒 The insta-love is just corny. 🙄 And my highlights here are to emphasize how downright cliché the dialogue is. 😒 I’m done with MF. I truly am. 😑

Genre: Erotic Romance
Type: Standalone Book 1 of Princess After Dark
POV: First Person – Dual
Rating:

Ella Monroe was only eighteen with a big dream ahead if her. But the dream shattered when she was left to live with her evil stepmother and helped her as housekeeper to a dashing wealthy man.

Rafe Goldwyn used of having things his way. As an heir of a jewelry company, his life was surrounded by glitz and glamour. When he first saw Ella, he knew she was going to shine bright under his care, even when she didn't know it yet.

I felt myself come all over him, soaking his cock and making him laugh at me as he kept fucking, splashing all over his crotch and covering his balls in my juices.

I was interested to read this one because I haven't read Cinderella retelling before. And of course the promise of filth added to the attraction lol!

God, I wanted so much more of her. I was already addicted to the way her lips tasted, and I had to fight every instinct that made me a man, so I wouldn’t rip those leggings off her and taste the forbidden fruit between her legs.

Rafe had a filthy mouth which I wholly approved. Ella was young and innocent but thank god not a simpering fool. The sex was hot and dirty the way I like, but personally I prefer the overall sweetness to be less.

And now, with Ella by my side, I finally saw clearly, finally saw what had been missing all that time.

Collaring Cinderella is a story finding one true love no matter the circumstances. It would to fans of smutty fairytale retelling.

At eighteen, Ella Monroe wanted to attend university but had to put her plans on hold. Living with her step-mother to save money and cleaning the home of a wealthy man, Ella dreams of one day having her own loving family and can’t help lusting over the man of the house.

“Tell me to have a taste. Tell me you’ve been saving it for me, princess.” “Have a taste,” she begged. “Please Rafe, one taste...”

Rafael “Rafe” Goldwyn is the heir to a jewelry fortune. Having a playboy past, Rafe now has his eye on a certain girl in hopes of claiming her. When Rafe’s father gives him the impetus to move forward, he doesn’t hesitate and is anxious to dazzle his princess.

“She was decadent, like a fucking delicious dessert I shouldn’t have been having, but it tempted me with its sugary sweetness and the cherry on top… And I couldn’t get enough.”

As Ella and Rafe have some hot close encounters, it further fuels his desire to taste her sweetness. With Ella enchanted by Rafe and with the help of a close friend, Ella transforms herself and is ready to attend the ball.

Told in dual POV, this modern retelling of Cinderella offers the familiar range of emotion with Ella plagued by her evil step-mother but also empowered by the goodness of a loved one. Of course, Rafe is gallant and doesn’t tolerate anyone mistreating his lady. With steamy chemistry and sweet love, their story is one to warm hearts.

Collaring Cinderella is a fun novella that will appeal to those looking for a contemporary perspective of a charming fairytale infused with naughtiness.

A dirtier retelling of Cinderella story. Honestly, it was SO ridiculous and OTT... A possessive, obsessed hero and a weak virgin heroine (was original Cinderella also so weak? I've never considered this but now I've come to realize that indeed she was). I found it entertaining in the beginning but after a while it was all the same on repeat and I really had to roll my eyes so hard...

1.5 Smelly Stars

Ella Monroe, a smelly 18-year old, meets Rafe "The Sniffer" Goldwyn and I'm still wondering what did I just read? Another modern day Cinderella re-telling with a hero having a fixation on Ella's panties, ending up collecting them and sniffing them. Additionally, I'm not going to comment on the epilogue, UNBELIEVABLE. Read at your own risk...

Four stars ☆☆☆☆

“I put a spell on you,” I grinned at her. “And now you’re fucking mine.”

This is a short, erotic retelling of Cinderella- complete with an evil stepmother and a fairy godmother.

Ella has dreams to leave the household where she's verbally tormented daily. She makes a vow to leave on the same night her stepmother's employer, Rafe, is hosting a masquerade Christmas ball. What she doesn't know is that he's planning on telling everyone she's his... and that she won't be leaving.

She made me feel like a very, very bad man. So innocent and pure, and all I wanted to do was to fucking ruin her, make her submit, make her mine completely until she begged me to own her. I knew exactly what kind of collar she would wear for me, and I couldn’t fucking wait to place it on her slender, pale neck.

safety:
virgin heroine
age gap (18h, 35H)
breeding/rough sex
brief OW drama (the stepmother, H doesn't allow it)
no cheating/sharing
HEA ♡

Collaring Cinderella was everything the blurb promises. Its sugar and spice and everything Rafe wants! It was hot, it was raunchy and it was OTT.

Quick Recap
You have rich beyond measure hottie, Rafe and innocent down trodden Ella. Rafe see’s Ella and instantly wants her. Ella sees Rafe and instantly wants him. There’s an evil stepmother, a friendly/meddling neighbor (godmother) and sexual tension thick enough to cut.

What I loved:
When Rafe and Ella get hot and heavy, trust me, their not the only ones left squirming. This author definitely knows how to write a page turner when it comes to the smexy times!

What I didn't like:
Although the chemistry is steamy and the love scenes creative, the inner dialogue of the MCs fell to a dull pattern of repetition. It got tiresome to keep reading about how much Rafe needs/wants/has to have Ella. I know that Ella is a virgin, shy, innocent, perfect, blah, blah, blah. I don’t need to read about it over and over again, that track on repeat gets old. And I love shy innocent heroines!

As for Ella, I think there’s a difference between a shy introverted person and a walking talking push over. Ella was 18 but thought and acted like a child half that age. It was hard to wrap my head around the fact that she was so desperate for independence but was so easily manipulated by her stepmom. I wanted her to fight back, to stand up for herself. I was left wanting that empowering scene for her.

Favorite Line:
“I won’t bite,” I told her. “Though I might see how many licks it takes to get to your delicious center.”

* * * * * * * * * *
Can you read that line without laughing? Even just a little? Come on!

Memorable Moments:
This was went a bit down hill for me after finding out Rafe has one of his minions steal a pair of Ella’s panties for him. His logic is skewed…

I was desperate to see what Jennings had found for me, I knew he was discreet, and he wouldn’t tell anyone about my wishes. He was also married to his partner of twenty-seven years, so I had no worries about him having indecent thoughts about my girl.

* * * * * * * * *

Even if stand up guy Jennings didn’t care about stealing a poor girl’s panties, Rafe should have been worried about the blatant breach of his precious Ella’s privacy! The fact that he can’t stoop to do his own creepy theft but had to rope a third party into is just wrong.

And an honorable mention to the cherry popping scene that’s down completely naked, outside, while it’s snowing!

Would I recommend?
Yes, it was still a good read but maybe more enjoyable if you read it largely for the erotic content rather than a romantic one. ILUs are mentioned twice and the h doesn’t voice her’s until the last page, during the first epilogue, two months after the ending scene.

I took a bath and less than 2 hours later i finally decided to get my butt dry since the water was getting cold - and i had the chance to devour Isabella Starling's latest release. By gosh it was good! I love fairytales. And i love this author's mind when she pens her stories because they always captivate me. Mix the two together and you have a book that will leave you breathless, captivated and wondering if begging for another is classy. I absolutely loved this story and can't wait for more!

Great read if....you enjoy quick reads, retelling of fairy tales, hot scenes, and an HEA.

Side Note: This was not what I was expecting. I honestly was thinking I'd receive something darker and smuttier yet it was Idk tame? It was well written and had a nice flow, I just wasn't madly into either of the characters. Both were adequate re-imaginings of the classic fairy tales, but neither had something just spectacular to them, or at least not for me. The sex scenes were enjoyable though Isabella has delivered better (in my opinion). I did like the last few scenes of the book the best. Those def brought it up from the 3 star I was flirting with to the 4.

Absolutely fucking not. There was nothing here. He sees her scrubbing her floor and immediately wants her to "submit" and "collar" her. So, I'm thinking, he'll save poor little Ella and make her his submissive. Right? Logical conclusion.

But no, he lets her continue to be mistreated by her stepmother even though he's angry about it. He goes to her house, eats her out in the kitchen, invites her to his ball where he will choose his wife, then tells her she will be knocked up by the time she leaves the ball.

At the ball, dear stepmother lies, so of course Ella runs away only to get assaulted in an alley way where the hero rescues his princess. They fuck, quite vanilla-y for all the collar and submit talk. Then they live happily ever after. Oh, wait. He gets her pregnant first time. Then two months later when they discover she's pregnant, he fucks her and KNOCKS HER UP AGAIN. Therefore, her second child is born only 7 months after her first. MIRACLE FUCKING INDEED. Superfetation has only happened like 9-10 times in recorded history. I'd be okay in with that in a book if so many other magical things hadn't happened.

There is absolutely no conflict that couldn't be resolved by him just plucking her from his guesthouse/stepmother. Why did there need to be a ball? Just because it's a Cinderella retelling? If so, maybe rethink your plot, or make in NOT a Cinderella retelling. The plot here was so fucking convuluted that it just made no sense and ruined whatever sexual arousing it might have done. These 4 and 5 star reviews are just fucking ridiculous. This is probably one of the worst books I've read this year.

Oooh, I forgot. He could smell her. Like a vampire. Or a shifter. Like a predator!!!!!!!! Oh my! Seriously, he kept "knowing" when she walked into a room because he could smell her. Whaaaaaaaaaaa?

Collaring Cinderella was a sexy, short fairy retelling. I loved the characters, even if Rafeal came off as a jerk in the beginning. I hated Ella's step mother as expected. However, I loved how things turned out for Ella and Rafe. I really would have loved for the story to have been longer, I felt like it was too short. I wanted to read so much more, I really loved the story line, it was unique to the retelling aspect of this story. Isabella Starling is a phenomenal writer and I cant wait to see what she comes up with next.

This is hands down my favourite Isabella Starling book in a long time! It still had some of the darker elements, but overall was a much lighter romance than the last few I’ve read from this great author.

I’m a sucker for a grown-up fairy tale and this sexy version of Cinderella was fabulous. I loved the arrogant, alpha and sexy af “prince” Rafe and our Ella was sweet, sassy and innocent.

The heat between Rafe and Ella was crazy and I loved how he put her awful stepmother in her place. Rafe’s dad was also a sweetheart and I loved the little twist at the end for him.

Fun, steamy and fabulous modern-day Cinderella romance! Loved it! :)

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of the book.

Quick, steamy, and fun - Isabella Starling did a fantastic job of modernizing the Cinderella tale by adding a male lead with a hint of dominance and a whole lot of obsession and a female lead that was barely legal. It was a case of lust at first sight for Rafe - to say that he fixated on Ella once he caught a sniff of her would be an understatement. Ella was a very sympathetic character - as is the case in Cinderella stories, she lost her beloved father and was under the heavy thumb of a callous (and delusional) step mother. I liked that Ella's "fairy godmother" was embodied by a kindly neighbor, who got her own HEA as a part of the story as well. This is my first read by the author and I'm looking forward to seeing what she does in a full length novel where the plot is original and the characters are more developed. 3.5 out of 5 wine glasses.

The hero was disgusting and horny douchebag. There's no story. He just sees her sweeping floor and tells her he is going to fuck her. Then he does. The heroine is greedy desperate bitch. Why do I read such books I don't know. I'm fooled by the blurbs. And maybe this one was something to do with the title. 😒😒😒

Excerpt from the book. When he sees her for the first time. It's there first meeting and

“Is that so, little girl? You’ve known who your mom’s been working for all along? You touch yourself to the pictures of me you see in your little magazines? Cover up my date’s face and pretend it’s you? Good fucking girl, doing my work for me. Bet you worked that sweet little cunt until it squirted over your fingertips. I do hope your mom didn’t hear.”

Ughh....
Sorry I'm not fan of such Overconfident Heroes😑

Fun and sexy...

Well I was expecting a a scorching hot, dirty quick read and I was not disappointed.... I loved this take on the traditional fairytale......

The premise was fun and the characters were fascinating enough for me to become invested in their relationship even though the time spent with them was so brief....there was a great balance between humour, and drama as well as some very hot steamy sex....Rafe is a gorgeous, filthy talking alpha male and Ella is both beautiful and inexperienced but that does not mean she is a pushover; I loved her attitude to life..sugar sweet with a pinch of sass.... and of course there is a fairy godmother with her own brand of magic sparkle and a wicked stepmother but the less said about her the better...

I really was captivated by this story and the tortuous journey the protagonists embark upon in search of their own version of living happily ever after ...I received a copy of this novella from the author....

a fast, sweet and so sexy contemporary fairy tale!

This is the first book by Isabella Starling that I read, and it was so amazing!! It's a novella, so it's shorter and it usually makes harder to know more about the author and her/his writing, but this book, even being smaller (as a novella must be), it was amazing, and a great way to meet a new author.

It was extremelly sexy, Rafe and Ella had amazing chemistry, the sexy scenes were hot and the story made me so nostalgic remembering Cinderella's story!

Ella is inocent, pure, sexy and selfless! Rafe is a former manwhore but after meeting Ella he becomes a protective alpha male that will stop at nothing until he gets his sweet Ella!

I definitely want more books by this author!

Collaring Cinderella is a sweet retelling of Cinderella with a sprinkling of Isabella Starlings magic fairy dust.
I absolutely loved this story as it completely hooks you in from the beginning.
Rafe and Ella were a perfect combination for each other and like it said in the book what Rafe wants Rafe gets.
This story is so good I couldn't put it down.
I loved Ella's innocence and Rafe's protective nature towards Ella.
He really was her knight in shining armor in many ways.
I think this is my new favourite book by Isabella Starling.
You need to one click this book as soon as you can and get taken on magical journey.
I just hope you love it as much as I did.

Wow what a short and sexy read this was.

Any book that takes on one of my favourite fairytales is gonna need to be read. So when I seen Isabella had released this little beauty and read the info I knew I just had to read it and boy, I’m happy I did.

Ella has an awful stepmother, she’s made to do everything and left to feel worthless que Prince Charming in form of Rafe who sees her as a person and not a servant.

Can I just give a shoutout to those sexy times because damn, they were super hot. I absolutely loved them.

This is my first read from this author and going by this beauty, it won’t be my last!

Collaring Cinderella is a delightfully-smutty twist on a the classic tale but awfully sweet and romantic at the same time!!! I absolutely loved reading Isabella Starling's take on this classic tale! Without revealing too much, the story was great and I had my eyes peeled on the words as I read and read and I could not stop reading! By the end of this tale I was in tears but in a good way!! I would definitely recommend this book to my friends that love classic tales with a dark twist!!! Thank you Isabella!!! I can't wait to read more of the Princess After Dark Books!!!

After reading the blurb I couldn’t wait to get started on another one of Isabella’s books. I loved this take on Cinderella, it was a very hot and steamy read that I read in no time.
I loved how much Rafe cared for Ella in such a short time, I thought they were great together even though there were some parts where Ella annoyed quite a bit. I also loved the side characters in this story and how they all interacted.
A really good read with an ending that was so cute and sweet!

COLLARING CINDERELLA is an insta-love novella about a jewelry industry mogul and his housekeeper's beautiful stepdaughter. This is a modern and sexier version of Cinderella, with its dash of drama and action-thrill. Rafe was quite a naughty, dirty-talking Prince Charming. And I loved how his former nanny became Ella's fairy godmother of sorts. I'm also glad there were happy endings for two loving pairs, not just for Rafe and Ella *wink*. I wished this book was longer because I really enjoyed it. But overall, this was a captivating read and I'm excited to read more fairy tale retellings from the author.

3.5/5

The novella was a quick read. It had its magical moments because it had its own take of Cinderella. The sexual chemistry between the main chatacters were good. Some lines within the story though didn't have to be used. I was like did he really just say that...? It wasn't a bad read but it could have been done slightly better.

I shouldn't have liked this book but I really did. When the public's focus for weeks has been about inappropriate sexual advances men have subjected women to and for me a reader who doesn't believe in instant love this book should not have sucked me in the way it did. That's how well Starling writes. She sucked me in with great characters. Rafe didn't seem at all creepy and Ella was obviously not offended by his directness. The fairy godmother and evil stepmother were perfect and suited the story perfectly. Far more than Prince Charming in the old fairy tale, Rafe was the kind of guy I'd like to walk into my life. Sigh.

Collaring Cinderella is a sexy, fun twist on an ages-old story and is sure to delight readers.

Naughty, naughty, naughty....I absolutely loved this deliciously naughty version of the classic tale of Cinderella. We get a sinfully sexy couple, an obnoxiously annoying stepmom that adds a bit of drama (just a little bit), a safe read with no cheating (yay), 2 epilogues & 2 hea’s (yes....2) equaling a definite one-click. What a great book....more please😉😈😍.
