Melanie D. Snitker's book, Finding Forever in Romance, takes place in the small town of Romance, Oregon. Brent Todd runs Romance's Finding Forever Animal Rescue there. Nicole and her son Tony, begin to volunteer at the shelter. Nicole is raising her son in Romance. She got married when she was only 19 and divorced because her husband said she made their relationship too difficult. Now she is afraid to take a chance and let go of the past so she can move toward new possibilities. She doesn't want her heart to break again. This is Brent and Nicole's journey. At 107 pages, this is an easy to read, one sitting romance.

Nicole is a single mom and I'm always drawn to stories about single parents. I thought the story was well written and complete, even though it was a novella. I loved that there was a great dane, calico cat, and some chickens as part of the storyline!

Finding Forever in Romance is a sweet romance and I am looking forward to reading more books by Melanie Snitker! If you like sweet, contemporary fiction, I recommend this novella!

I read this as part of the "Fall Into Romance" boxed set. Lovely book! I already read 3 other books from this boxed set, in which the main characters adopt an animal from the animal shelter. Wonderful to read more about the people who run the shelter and care for the animals! I like it especially that all the books in this set are connected, mostly through their love for animals.

Brent runs the animal shelter. Nicole is a single mum. Both have secret crushes on each other. I liked it, it was pleasant, it read easily enough, it had all the ingredients but… I didn’t feel this as much as some of the other stories… I loved the animals!

This was a very well written novella. The story flowed smoothly and you didn't feel rushed.

I enjoyed the story of Brent and Nicole. And how giving 2nd chances are a good idea. I love how the cat helped Nicole to see that.

This is the first if 10 novellas in a boxed set titled Fall into Romace. We are introduced to this small rural town in Oregon with Brent and Nicole's story. He runs an animal shelter and she is a single mom who manages the roller rink. A sweet romance, but nothing special.
