Yyyyyeeeeessssss, I'm so proud of Edge. Yes, it took him longer to finally get himself together, to be the man that Reece needed him to be, but he finally was able to realize what he had, before he lost it. Even though Reece did things as well, after she learned what Edge done, she still was overall a good woman. Reece was just tired of being taken for granted.
Reason gave Bronx a run for his money. After Bronx realized that he messed up, he did everything he could to fix it, but Reason wasn't having it. Reason gave him a piece of his own medicine, and it was then that Bronx realized how he felt about Reason. Reason finally forgave him, and I'm positive that he learned his lesson. I wanted Bronx to propose to Reason, because I definitely seen that happening real soon.
Teague was the perfect match for Brim. She kept him on his toes, and she was so in tune with his emotions. Much like his brother, Bronx, Brim was honest, but in a way that wasn't so blunt, and uncaring. Brim was the more rational one, and if anyone couldn't calm him, Teague could. What started off as a friendship, blossomed into both of them being in love, and getting married.
Ayah was Torren's peace....she was everything that Torren wanted and needed. Even though he was hurt by his former girlfriend, Tia, he never took it out on Ayah. Ayah had her own problems when it came to her living situation, and even though it ended tragically with her stupid aunt, she gained a love from Torren like no other. Also, she developed a bond with Teague, Reason, and Reece. If the aunt didn't choose to be in Ayah's life, that was her lose, because Ayah was a beautiful person.
The JUDGE finally was able to try to separate Melvin from Judge Harris. Judge Harris was selfish, and he would hurt people, as long as he recieved what he wanted. He was conniving, condescending, and manipulative. Melvin owned up to his mistakes, and took his son's, Brim and Bronx into consideration. He apologized for his behavior, and for the hurt that he brought to Brim and Brooklyn's mother, when he put everyone into an awkward, and uncomfortable situation. Brim and Bronx were better men than Melvin would ever be, but at least he knew that. Overall a good book and a good series.
