A very clear and simple introduction to what Scholasticism was, is (in 1904), and might be in the future. The author writes from a Roman Catholic perspective and employs a pleasant 19th century gentleman's English.
Suprisingly Up-To-Date and Relevant. An interesting introduction to Scholasticism, if not exactly framed as a primer. I didn't know really anything about Scholasticism, but this book serves well for learning about the varied context surrounding the movement, as it calls for a revival of the philosophy.
