Liu Ming, since he was young, has lived in a horrible prison called Savage Island, where the prisoners weren’t controlled by guards or security due to the island being supposedly inescapable. When the island sinks due to “mysterious” events, only a handful of people, including Liu Ming, survive – those survivors are then pursued by the government.

What will happen to him?!

Follow Liu Ming’s unexpected and amazing journey from captivity to spiritual growth beyond what most can imagine…

I don’t have the interest to finish this. It was too repetitive and dry about the 300th chapter. I made it to chapter 441. The only thing to anticipate in upcoming chapters are the identity, strength and race of the next villain. It started strong and interesting with a likable scrappy MC, survivor of a brutal detention center, that got a second chance to survive as a cultivator. I was hoping it would turn around. No such luck.

Pretty good

I liked the story, but it ended weird. Kinda on the fence on whether I like the MC or not. It is a much better translation than some of the other books of a similar genre. I will be getting the next book when it comes out.

Quite hard to get into the style of writing, but once you get it, it really a good story line.
