मोदीजी द्वारा लिखी गयी यह किताब संघ के उन अनेको स्वयंसेवको को श्रंद्धाजंलि है जिन्होंने राष्ट्र के लिए अपना सर्वस्व लुटा दिया। यह गाथा है उन कर्मविरो की जिन्होंने अपने जीवन का क्षण-क्षण मातृभूमि की सेवा में नेवछावर कर दिया।किताब में दिए गए कुछ प्रसंगो को पढ़ कर आंखे नम हो जाती है ।वह निस्वार्थता,वह अपनापन,प्रतिबन्ध व आपातकाल के दिनों का वह संघर्ष,समाज के प्रति वह नज़र्या वाकई में प्रेरणास्तोर्ता है ।
