She’s been writing stories since she was old enough to hold a pen, and after gaining a BA Hons degree in Drama and Writing, she honed her craft with horror and fantasy shorts which are published in numerous magazines and anthologies.
Angeline grew up on the edge of Dartmoor, Devon, amongst its legends and ghost stories, but now lives in central England with her husband, their two young boys, and a somewhat neurotic cat.

Compulsive reading, well written, full believable characters and their dystopian world. I was totally addicted to this series. I can see me rereading these books again and again.
Here's my reviews after I devoured each of the books.
The Bottle Stopper Book One
This is the first work I have read by this author, and I am impressed. This dark, dystopian tale introduces us to the characters who will be in the trilogy.
This is mostly Maeve's story, and it's not a pretty one. Maeve lives with her uncle who abuses her violently on a daily basis. There are lots of questions raised whilst you are reading, such as 'where are her parents?' and 'why on earth was she left with such a man?'. I don't want to say anything else or I will spoil the story, but do not underestimate Maeve or indeed any of the other characters.
There are quite a few characters in this first outing, but they all have their place, and we will, no doubt, hear all of their stories in time. Loved this!
The Matching Book Two
A brilliant sequel to 'The Bottle Stopper'. In this work, we find out more about those classed as the Resistance and what they are doing to undermine the Big Brother government, forced 'arranged' marriages where the women are brides to the highest bidder, and where Tale and Freda's beautiful, but illegal, love story may be broken in two.
It's a very clear, focused view of a future where nothing has changed, and everything has changed. You'll see what I mean when you read it. The twists and turns are great and the characterisations are so full that I know these people and care about them...well, most of them, anyway. Enjoy!

The Visionary Book Three
Absolutely fantastic - loved every second of it!
I've really been enjoying this series and can't wait for the publication of the final book in 'The Paper Duchess' series, 'The Mothers'. It can't come soon enough for me.
One of the characters, Corinn, wow, there's a woman you really wouldn't want to mess with. Beware bored psychics who like to play games with people's lives - just for a selfish giggle, of course... Methinks she could go too far one day soon.
Read this series in order to get the most enjoyment out of the books. Great story, well thought out, keeps you turning and turning the pages. Keep fighting the good fight, ladies (and gents). I can't wait to see how this ends.
The Mothers Book Four
Absolutely loved this series. Despite their circumstances, the female (and some male) characters were real, believable, and strong. So much so that I felt every single emotion they went through - their fear, angst, and joy.
I said in my review for the previous book (The Visionary), that Corinn 'could go too far one day soon', well that day came and she went far too far. She causes grief for so many. However, attitudes towards her change for one very important reason. Inside the Eye things are being controlled as much as possible by one very brave rebel, unbeknownst to the others.
Trevena's eloquent words keep you riveted to the pages, and you can't help but be drawn in to the book plot and 'The Plot'. Women are a scarce commodity and female children being born are a rarity. Yes, it's been done before, but this is just that wee bit different. The series is completely feasible, like most future tales concerning the oppression of women by men. It may well happen, who knows? I'll just be glad that it (hopefully) won't happen in my lifetime.
