This is a phenomenal resource! Chapter 1, which serves as a call to the contemplative in a too-busy contemporary life, would be worth the read even if the rest of the book didn’t exist. The description of singing plainsong is just technical enough. And the description of each of the components of the Evensong round out a worthwhile book! Highly recommended.
