Merely Adequate
Previous books by this author were more readable and believable. In this one there remains some good writing and good insights but they are diluted by near-impossible leaps in time, distance, motivation and physics - even by fantastical science fiction standards. It contained a fe dozen too many “and then a miracle happened” moments for my tastes.

Somewhat plodding, but not bad
Jumped around too much in the earlier chapters. Character development was too long. Nice about face on the perception of the real Swimmer intent.

Abandoned half way through
Some really great parts, but not many. Mostly ok, but not enough to spend the time when I could be reading something I really like.

Third Book is Excellent
This is a great extension to the Breakers series. I believe I will have to finish out the serious. Very fun and exciting storyline. Well done.
