This is another novel in my favourite genre of " waking up in amother world ".pretty sure I have a problem at this point but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The Story begins when our protagonist ' Hirasawa Kazuki ' finds himself in an RPG game that he was playing,and in the body of the worst character ever ' Harold stokes ', and he doesn't suck as in ' the weakest ' mind you.it's his personality that sucks, and his mouth and actions eventually gets him killed in the game.but our buddy Kazuki really likes living thank you very much.so he tries to save himself from certain doom without deviating too much from the original plot (cuz that shit's supposed to end with saving the world from certain doom).
The thing setting this story apart from others is that even though it's our protag's soul in there,that body still belongs to Harold stokes.which means what's inside and what's outside aren't in sinc.his mouth filters anything that comes out of it making any mild remark into a goddamn insult and it kills me
An example :
what our protag wants to say : " thanks for worrying about me "
What comes out : " Fool,do you take me to be so weak as to be beaten by something so trivial.you should have you eyes checked "
And I'm just 😂😂😂😂
And it's not just the way he talks either,everything from his actions to his body language are heavily influenced by his body,turning sadness into rage and fear into calmness and so on.
And the other thing that impressed me is that the consequences are acknowledged in this world.by trying to gain the upper hand in the story and accelerating some events,the world retaliated by pushing the entire story into high gear in order to accommodate to the change our protagonist was making which is a super cool thing to do.
Tl;Dr This story had so much potential to fail and yet the author managed to weave in some interesting concepts and put actual consequences to changing fate.
