The Fun Factor: A mystery adventure with games and gadgets for kids ages 9-12

Rate this book
There's something very odd going on in the village. First, the Internet goes down – permanently. Food deliveries stop. And stuff starts microwaves, dishwashers, phones… even Dad's fancy drone-controlled vacuum cleaner. Thora suspects her shiny new step-mum is behind it all. Frosty the headmaster is definitely up to no good, and even the village shopkeeper looks shifty. But our amateur detective and her mates soon find out that this plot goes right to the top as the rest of the world tunes in. To unravel the mystery, they'll need to play the grown-ups at their own game – or the fun will be gone forever. The Fun Factor is packed with gadgets, jokes, explosions and intrigue – a fresh, funny and exciting read for children aged 8 to 12.
