Exiled to a life of solitude, this brother flies alone, but not for long. Author's This is a novella with mature language and themes, intended for adults only.
Thyra is on a yacht in the middle of the ocean. She left her stalker ex and has been traveling by boat for over a year. She has been having erotic dreams of this beautiful man. Every time she stops at land, she searches for his smile but can't find him. A big storm is happening and she tried to outrun it but now her mast is broken and the battery is dead. There is no way to get help, so she resigns herself to death. Endre knows his mate is out there. He has felt her since birth and knows her life has been rough. He also knows she is in trouble. He turns into his dragon and searches the area where he feels she is. Just as he feels her light dimming he sees a flipped over yacht. Because he can change into different animals, he changes to a seal and dives down to rescue her then flies her back to his home as a dragon. There is trouble brewing with the supernatural world. One of Endre's brothers come with his clan asking for a place to stay. Wruin and Abigail are involved in this story too. As well as Abigail's father. I definitely liked this book better that the first. In Endre, there was a lot of things explained that I was missing in the first book. This book drew me in so much better and deeper than before. Can't wait for the third book now!

"Dream Man"
This is the second book in the "Brothers of the Dark Places" series. While it is not necessary to have read "Wruin" it helps explain some things as characters from book one appear in this book. Endre is a dragon shifter that has spent many years alone after having a "falling out" with his brother the king. After escaping an obsessive ex-husband, Thyra has been sailing the seas and dreaming of a special man. Endre is that dream man. Will Thyra be able to accept what and who Endre is? When an evil returns will she run or stand with Endre?
This is the first book in the series I have read and received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
Tender and touching says it all. Endre has been alone (self-imposed) waiting for his mate whilst Thyra has been dreaming of him. The characters were great and the contrasts in their backgrounds and now made them more realistic and created greater depth in their feelings. There is history, drama, bad guys and a sneak peak at the next part of the brothers saga.
I enjoyed reading Endre, would highly recommend it (tender, touching and steamy) for a few hours respite from the seasonal chaos. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series.
Excellent book. This is one that to be understood has to be read. He is a dragon shifter and waiting for her as she is his mate. She ends up in a place that has always been a dream or fairy tale to her. I recommend reading it. It is exciting, suspenseful, dreamy and so much more. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
This is Endre and Thyra's story which I enjoyed reading I am going to be rereading this one over again and looking to see if there is any more to this series.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Endre was so sweet and protective when he rescued Thyra. I loved how Thyra thought her 'Dream Man' and his world were nothing but a hallucination. It was great seeing Wruin, Abigail, Holly and Lothar again. It was also interesting finding out about Thyra's magical connection.
'I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.'
Entertaining, captivating and very interesting read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Good book. I think I like this one better than the first, because it seems more developed and has consistency. Nice fantasy tale with some pretty hot bedroom activities.

Endre continues the steamy Brothers of the Dark Places series. Thyra, a human who somewhat believes in magic, finds herself in a sticky situation that only Endre, her fated dragon soulmate, can get her out of. Facing a number of bumps and bruises along the way, Thyra and Endre struggle to create a relationship while healing the emotional wounds from their individual pasts. A quick read and great addition to the series, I can't wait for more.

Stories about dragons and kingdom in Antartica is a lot to take in. Will Endre be able to keep his mate or will the truth drive her away? I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.
The story starts with action and ends with more. But in between you have lots of love, humor, and discoveries to be made and found. Endre is a dragon shifter who exiled himself to Antarctica and has been king of his solitary kingdom since then. He knows he has a mate since he started dreaming about her. Sensing her in trouble, he rescues her just in time. Thyra is independent and a survivor, but finds herself accepting her inevitable death about her sinking yacht in the middle of the ocean. However, with creatures of all kinds taking refuge in the Antarctic kingdom, she is forced to come to grips with the truth. Magic is real. While falling in love, fighting a war, and trying to find their place in the new world, both make discoveries about themselves and their history. You see some old friends and make new ones, and while Thyra and Endre get their HEA, the ending leaves you anxiously awaiting the next story!
I received a copy of this book from the author and I gladly leave my review. I really loved reading this book and it’s the 2nd one to the series. This story is about Thyra and Endre, Thyra just getting over a divorce takes a boat and sails across the Atlantic, Endre is a shape shifting dragon and has been watching his mate ( Thyra ) for awhile now. When Thyra is in a accident a Endre is there to save her, Thyra wakes up to find a man standing over her and that is the man she has been dreaming about. Endre breaks the news to Thyra and tells her that he is a dragon and she is his mate, at first she thinks that he is nuts but he convinces her that it’s all true. Thyra realises that all of the fairytales that she was told as a child were true. I was glad to see the characters out of Wruin in this book. Great read and I really enjoyed it, well worth the read.
I have fallen in love this series. I love that we get see characters from the first book. I loved the character development and how well the story is written. It has an amazing flow to the story and it extremely well developed throughout. I loved Endre and how thoughtful, protective and caring he is. Thyra is amazingly strong and so kind. Yes, it is a shorter book but it definitely doesn't leave you hanging. This most certainly worth reading and it won't disappoint. It will have you from the start to the finish and you won't want to put it down. Keep them coming and what a fanatic author Miranda Bailey is. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Enjoying the series so far, just wish they were longer - Recommend
I feel like I know more about the brothers and the magical world the author is creating within this series, although I still have remaining questions that I hope are taken care of within the third book. That is why I gave the story 4 stars. I was also able to read some of the other stories written by Miranda with the bonus stories. My only complaint is that I wish the stories were longer, so that certain aspects could be shown verses fast forwarding a week, a month, or a year and then just providing a recap of what supposedly happened in a sentence or two.
**** Re-reading will revise review upon completion ***** I originally received a review copy of this book checked it out from Kindle Unlimited instead -that way I got a chance to read the finished product This could be an amazing read!!! The characters and the world Bailey created were both unique and intriguing The tone and supporting cast, as well as the plot idea, were new and invigorating - Why then did I not finish it? The editing - I posted in my notes just a few errors that pulled me from the story - So much potential for this story
Good short read, that brings a little back in from the first book. We have Endre who is a loner and prefers it this way. Thyra who is running from her ex-husband, when she gets caught in a storm. Can Endre find her and save her? Will Endre accept his brothers back? Can Thyra accept the magic that Endre comes from? What will happen when now in Antartica with the wolves? I received an arc copy for my honest review.
Endre has been away from his people for centuries. Thyra struggles to forget her past and her fears but when Endre appears, she recognizes him as the man she has been dreaming about. Both are strongly attracted to each other even though Thyra is frightened. This book has anger, fear, action, hope and love in abundance. I really enjoyed the storyline and look forward to reading the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I bought this book to continue the story of Brothers in Dark Places. Thyra has escaped her past and is n her boat in the middle of a hurricane when Endre rescues her and takes her to Antarctica, his home. When he allows Taka and his people in because their home was damaged, Airitech infiltrates with them. He kidnaps Thyra. Will she be rescued ? Will Thyra choose to leave him ? Will they be mated ?
In this second book of the Brothers of the Dark Places Series, we have the story of Endre. Endre is exiled to a life of solitude, but when he rescues Tharyn in the middle of a hurricane and takes her to Antarctica, things change completely. In addition to discovering their feelings, a threat also appears to jeopardize everything that is dearer to the brothers. I loved to see the characters from the first book. I recommend the reading.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more by this new author in my ever growing collection. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
