Well that was fun...............
Well this little gem starts with Dylan and Rose in a very compromising situation and not at all how Rose wanted to lose her virginity.
Then we get taken back and told the story of how they got into that situation.
Dylan finds himself in deep trouble with the Moretti family, a mafia family in Los Vegas when a stash of money he was meant to be guarding gets stolen. Lucky for Dylan Nico Moretti has a new project he's starting and if the rumours are right Dylan is the perfect person to help.
Nico is opening a porn studio and wants Dylan and his 'horse cock' to be the star. Dylan takes one look at Rose the girl they have chosen as his co star and his a goner, where talking caveman possessive.

3.5 for my first read from this author!

I read the dirty bad things series together and all the stories and the sex scenes bled into each other.
This one is about a virgin who they are forcing to star in a porno. The Insta love is real but the sex scenes are hot enough to make you forgot this plot isn't so deep.

Rose too is now in debt to the Moretti family via her mom's boyfriend worked for the family too but now he has died leaving a outstanding debt. So Rose is to star in the porn also to pay off the debt to the family. But once Dylan lays eyes on Rose he turns instant alpha and in love.
This was a really hot Read! One you won't be putting down for sure.

Hard Core is a dual POV from Dylan and Rose. They both have to deal with debts to the Moretti mafia family. Not what you're thinking because I honestly had no idea what they were going to do to pay back their debt. Spoiler alert: porn.
That's the only thing I'm going to spoil about this book because honestly that's not going to really spoil anything about this book. Yes, it has sex but some of it is all for this whole porno thing that the new guy in the mafia wants to do.
Cringing? You should be. Why? Because Rosie is the virgin in all of this paying for a debt that isn't hers. Dylan is paying for his own debt though. However, they are both thrown into this horrible situation.
Other than that, I really liked these two. They are both thrown into a horrible situation but they both find love. Unexpected love is the best, right?
Overall, I really liked this book. I mean what's not to like about Madison Faye writing a book or a new series of hers? I'm basically obsessed with her writing. Her smut. Her everything.
I can't wait to dive into the second book!

I knew I'd regret this but I'm such a sucker for a sexy cover. It was immediately just way too excessive. Upon seeing that she has the wholesome girl next door looks he immediately deems her an angel and then he uses it so often that by the time I quit in chapter six I never wanted to see the word again. It had all the feel of Insta love except there were no actual romantic feelings. The Insta lust was also real but dear god she used some cringey language: "the cum boils hot in my balls" dude you might wanna see a dr that doesn't sound natural. "...pump my cum deep inside her fertile womb" 🤢 gross...And also you don't know anything about her womb she could totally be infertile. Really blatant homonym error. There's a lot of really bothersome hate at the beginning too. Like I personally wouldn't do porn but it's fucked up to talk about sex workers the way this author spent a lot of time doing. Heroine seems to lie to him to get him to agree to do it. The whole thing was a dumpster fire and I wanted no part of it. Dnf @30%

Yet another awesome series: Madison Faye outdoes herself repeatedly, and I am hooked.
Just to give you an idea of how obsessed I am, I'll let you in on a little secret: as I'm writing this reviews, I still have 12 to write - because apparently I enjoy procrastinating way too much - and, out of those 12, 11 are of Madison Faye book.
Yeah, you could say I've been on a binge of sorts, and I regret nothing.
This is book 1 in the series and each book can be read as a standalone and perhaps even out of order, but since I'm a neat-freak, I try to always read the series in its entirety and in order.
This is Rose and Dylan's story and it was so good. It has everything; the entire series does: it's hot, and sexy, and sweet and heart melting...
And I love that Madison always sorta gives us a glimpse of the others characters and a little taste of the stories to come; I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next one fast enough.
If you haven't read Madison Faye yet, you're missing out.
Give it a try. I can almost guarantee you'll love every second of it.

But trust me.. This is soooo good. I ate this up faster than anything. I am the biggest insta smut fan but anything involving more than two people is a huge RED NO for me but this story.. Dylan felt exactly how I felt!

Absolutely terrible as a book, great fun to read out loud to your partner to make fun of it together.
Insta love, she's 18 and he's 38 or something (which is always super great...), the threat of rape looming at all times, the writing was *repetitive*. It's like the author as a vocabulary of about 113 words. The amount of growling and roaring this man did, ridiculous. She did a lot of crying out and gasping. So exactly none of it was sexy, but again: great fun to read out to your partner. You can make it interactive like we did. Every time I paused, he was prompted to say "growls" and that happened *at least* twice a page.

Although I liked this book, it wasn't "great". I loved the premise, I truly did love Dylan and Rose. I am not sure what was "missing" exactly but it didn;t give me the butterfly feeling that I have had with other books from this author.
All in all a short, quick, smutty and very insta everything book!

Hot core, more like it :-D Las Vegas, a twistedly fun and naughty plot, a big endowed ex-Marine, and an innocent young woman all mix to create a really good smut romance.
I don't know if she read my mind, but this author has improved one aspect I missed in some of her stories. This time, the main characters do a lot more dialogue and connection than usual, and adding that to other scenes with more characters and plot development, really made a good impact on the overall sensation.
I love smut romance and insta-love, but enriching it always pays off. This still has a crazy plot which I relished, and lots of steamy times. You won't believe how insanely sweet and scorching-hot they can be at the same time.
It was so much fun to see the characters meet for the first time when they are being dragged to shooting a porn film against their wills, and then completely melt for each other. The author manages to keep the tone light while maintaining the double edge of the provocative side of their situation but still give them romance enough to make an emotional connection. And it was so great to see the hints for the oncoming couples in the series. A fantastic start, I loved this story!

Hard Core by Madison Faye is the First book in the "Dirty Bad Things" Series. This is Dylan and Rose’s story. Rose is young and innocent; she is ready to leave Las Vegas but she is prevented from leaving when she is taken by a mob boss who has evil intentions towards Rose. Dylan is a military vet (ex-Marine) and has taken a job working for the mob. When a job goes horribly wrong, the mob looks to pin the job on him. Only way the mob boss will let his “screw up” go, is to make him do something he doesn’t want to do, and be a part of the bad things to Rose. This is a mob setup between two strangers who find insta-love in the thick of danger. There is danger, passion, intrigue, suspense and action along with twists and turns that keeps this story hopping. I loved how intense and steamy this story got. If you like stories like that, then don’t miss Ms. Faye’s latest!!

Hard Core was a fast paced insta love erotic story. It isn’t very long but while there is a lot going on you aren’t left with the feeling that anything was missing. It was sexy, it was hot but at the same time I wanted more. Yes sort of contradictory but not that is was lacking I just wanted more of the story between Dylan and Rose. I enjoyed the added mafia angle element to the story and the payment of supposed debt owed. Mafia themed books are ones that I typically enjoy and I enjoyed Hard Core. I am going to keep this review short and sweet because I don’t want to give anything away. I will say that Ms. Faye has me very interested in reading more of this series. It was a hot start to a series that may end up being one I really enjoy.

Oh Madison... you might be new to me and I've only read a couple things by you but holy smokes did you set my panties on fire and completely stole my heart.
Sexy. Sweet. Easy. Safe. Madison Faye is NOT an author that you want to miss. Hard Core was everything it promised to be... in a dirty little package that packed a serious punch with a whole lotta heat.
He owes the mob. She's paying off a debt. When their worlds collide, it's epic, unforgettable, and totally undeniable. She wants him and he craves her. But one small (ha! quite the understatement) problem and a twist throw these two into the fight of their lives.
It's quick. It's naughty. It's over the top. It's insta-deliciousness. I just simply couldn't get enough.
I highly recommend this book.

This is a HOT steamy sexy story, so be warned where you read this book!
Rose and Dylan are forced into something neither of them thought they would ever have to do. Both have their own reasons for being where they are at that moment. But Dylan will protect Rose with everything he has. Rose will do everything she can to protect her sister.
The mafia is bound to make more money and they want to make it in the porn industry. So that is where Dylan and Rose come in. And even if they are unwilling they will make this movie.
I really enjoyed this story and the characters. I can't wait to see where these characters go in the next two books. I voluntarily read advance readers copy for my honest review.

I thought this would be better but unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations. I did find it interesting though to pay their debt they wanted Dylan and Rose to make a porno flick, him with his huge dick her with her virginity sounds good right. I found Dylan to be an annoying loser, he’s trying to save Rose from having to do this and tarnish her good reputation but with absolutely no leverage it was laughable he thought he could achieve this. I liked Rose I found her to be a sweetheart. I didn’t buy the ‘we’re in love’ at the end it wasn’t plausible to happen so quick. There was not enough time building their chemistry to make this believable, I would have bought likeable though.

Please break the rules a little bit and out with being the goodie two shoe! I always see the same sort of storylines with the heroine and the hero. I need something that doesn't follow rules for once!. Have blurred lines...be more wild please!

This is a fast-paced read that is off the charts hot. Rose and Dylan both owe the Moretti crime family and they plan on getting their payment by making a dirty movie. Can Dylan protect sweet and innocent Rose? I liked the story and the chemistry is steamy. A good read, looking forward to more in the series.

Quick smutty read by Madison Faye. Dylan and Rose's love definitely doesn't start the way we anticipate it, but it ends beautifully. From the sexy smut, to the plot and romance, this short read was a good start to the series.

This was such an amazingly unique and hot story. I am not going to give a run down of the plot as it is pretty straightforward in the blurb, but I do want to address the the greatness of this story.
The two main characters, Dylan and Rose, are PERFECT for each other. The balance that this author used to not only unite these characters but to make the reader truly believe that they were meant to be is amazing. Dylan is such a strong and bold character, but he softens and loves Rose wholeheartedly. Rose, on the other hand, is soft and innocent, but strong and loving. I really enjoyed this story and following these characters.
Madison Faye is the ultimate insta-lust, smutty, unrealistic fantasy romance writer, and if you have read her before you will understand. She is fantastic at writing MFM stories but this one, a MF, is one of her best. It is so wonderful that she could bring her amazing writing abilities (and hotness scale) to a couple where the reader falls in love with them both. This is one of my favorites and I wish I could read it again for the first time to re-experience it. Give it a try and enjoy. I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.

We always think about meeting the one, the other half to our soul. But no one, expects to meet a person that you have that instant connection with while the mob has you held hostage to pay for a debt that you did not owe. When Dylan was caught by Nico he knew he was in for a bad day, being told that he would be shooting porn to pay back his debt would never have been part of his plan. But when he lays eyes on the innocent beauty that was brought into the basement his protective instincts kicked in immediately. Finding out that Rose would be his costar makes him want to protect her even more.
These two have instant chemistry and when they sneak behind Nico’s back to practice their performance it definitely gets HOT. Can’t wait to see what is next in this series!!
