You're Getting Zaned! You're Getting Zaned! Everybody Getting Zaned!

Okay... this season finally hooked me. While part of me still wants a couple who ‘irreversibly’ fall for each other to break up and find happily ever after with someone else... most of the couples are actually growing on me.

This installment was fast paced and gripping. A few times I had to laugh out loud. Poor Avril... and Fiona always getting the yellow powder to the face. I find Zane interesting and funny. And I’m intrigued as to what is going on with him as well as Caspian’s story.

So for me this one had it all - adventure, romance, laughs, mystery and wtf moments. Totally think Vincent is fishy..

Neraka, you finally got me! This was was the best in this season so far. So glad the next one is out so soon.

Recommended for fans of: YA Fantasy, paranormal, people who don't mind cliff hangers, romance, adventure and of course all Shaddicts!

I don't like anyone that comes from Rose's bloodline. They are the most annoying characters. Serena, Hazel and Harper. They make these books so brutal to get thru. Harper really thinks she is the leader of the group and this is HER FIRST MISSION. Girl, if you don't sit your ass down..I just can't with her.

As always Bella Forest always ends the book with me wanting more. Sometimes, I don't read these books as they come out, I wait until they all come out so I can read them all at once.
So the plot thickens with the daemons. A lot if revealed in this book which raises more questions than answers. Turns out the daemons are WAY more organized than anyone knew. They have underground cities, they have a king and 7 princes that rule the different tribes all over the planet of Neraka. There were once millions of Imen on the planet but the daemons came close to hunting them to extinction and they would like to take over the exiled Mara's city as well.
Then we have Zane, a daemon...one of the 7 princes from the King who has a strange fascination with Fiona. I personally think he has a thing for her or at least that is how it comes across. All the different pairs (teams) get closer throughout the book which draws me into the book. I love the relationship/character development in all of Bella's books.

3.5 stars. A good read, however there was more build up than action. For that reason though I'm excited to read the next book in the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed the end of this book when the team have unknowingly walked into a trap. Its interesting because we don't often get to read of a number of them being vulnerable. There is a question of whether they were betrayed when entering the demons underground city and I would actually love a plot twist of that betrayal coming from Harpers love interest Caspian. There are far too many relationships blooming and I'd find it much more realistic if not all of them worked out perfectly.

I do, however hope that the change to Jax and Hansas relationship sticks as thats been a long time coming (he finally returned her love with a kiss when hiding and fearing they wouldn't make it out of the demons city alive).

The best parts to me were:

-caia and blaze locked in a meranium cage which neither the fire fae or dragon can escape. King Shaytan of the daemons has obviously been keeping tabs on them.
-fiona rescuing demios, Arrahs brother. However she's yet to give information to help gasp as a thank you for this so I imagine that something will intervene.
-finding out that the fire from the last book had been planned and executed by daemons but not in retaliation for the gasp team going into the valley of the screams because the timing is off. I enjoyed the kind of on the spot detectiveness of this, that didnt involve them reading in the library or integrating people.

Things I'm not sure on:

-the back and forth of Zane and Fiona. I like aspects such as the intrigue of him warning her about Vincent and his total fascination with her. But the use of that damn yellow powder that knocks her out all the time is off putting.
-there was some language overlap in this book which doesn't help separate the characters well. For instance 'we're in trouble' is said by at least 3 characters in consecutive chapters.
-some new characters being introduced to help their mission seem dull i.e lemuel and moses.
-the last chapter in which serena talks about the original druid delegation. It's been so long I can't remember exactly what she's referring to.

Overall lots to look forward to, I hope it focuses more on revealing the mysteries of the planet than on the ever growing relationships.

I dont know what to say

Definitely another edged of the seat nail biting can't put down book. I don't know what to say I have mixed emotions I so love the series and have fallen in love with all the characters. I just get frustrated with having to wait for more answers. Or just when I have it figured out I find out it's not what it seems. Bella is an awesome writer she keeps you on your toes. She has a fantastic mind. I'm glad there is only 7 books in this series at least I hope.

The shade 54

This is an interesting twist to the continuation of the shade of vampire. It is almost taking on a total different story line per say. It is interesting how craven thinks he is communicating with Jax or Harper etc when in reality the story has not told who he is actually talking to. Them of course their is the the love that is growing on Harper Fiona Jax etc. I'm glad they are finding the love but do wonder what wrong with Vincent well guess we will read soon. Total recommend this complete series

Underground city

The team is split into groups and are each given a task to complete while Jax, Hansas, Caia, Blaze, Harper and Caspian set off to trap a daemon and infiltrate their underground city. Things dont go according to plan and find themselves in a very dire situation. The pit wolf following Scarlett ends up saving her and he is weirdly adorable. I'm also really starting to like Zane. The chemistry between him and Fiona is big surprise since i thought her and Vincent had hit it off. So this new development has me very curious and eager to see how it unfolds.

I'm fairly certain I've become addicted to the suspense in these books. Watching the gang learning the answers we are all waiting for and then more questions lingering after a Den of Tricks indeed. As they wait for gasp they realize they can't just stand around and wait anymore so they begin to take action. We also get to watch their feelings blossom more as the tension builds. A great read it truly kept me captivated I couldn't put it down!

This book was great!

I love Bella Forrest books! But none are like the shade. I don't care how many there are, the shade is one of the best series. I never get bored of any of the shade books, they have humor, excitement, and r a emotional rollercoaster. I love the sole mates, and love. It will be a sad day to see the shade ever end. One thing is missing, falling in love so hard, then betrayal!

Well done Bella Forrest another fantastic story from our friends from the shade and our new friends. An awesome read that will keep you on the edge of your seat as you unravel the mystery and the love that is happening between our friends of the GASP and the unlikely potential mates they have found , just don't know it yet. A definite must read. And o can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Made for the screen

This series should be turned into a tv sitcom or mini series special on tv. I'll watch it on abc, cw, or anything local. It's to many books for a movie. Plus movies edit and take away from the books, but tv you can keep every detail to expand episodes. Just a thought...

Getting back to what I originally liked!!!

FINALLY!!!!!!! There is a return to good plot lines and not just who likes who. I was just about finished with the series, but glad I held in a little longer. This latest edition has me really looking forward to the next, I hope it's still pushing the plot and not just the couples!!!!
