Berawal dari diskusi sama aba mengenai novel "laut bercerita" yg mengkisahkan hilangnya para aktivis 98 hingga membahas sekilas kisah Jack ma manusia triliun yuan yg juga sempat hilang di awal tahun 2021, membuat saya tertarik memyelami lebih dalam tokoh Jack ma dan membaca buku ini.
Bagi sy kisah Jack ma banyak memberi pelajaran serta arti dari sebuah penolakan, kerja keras, proses, motto hidup, kekayaan, dan kebahagiaan.
Dalam buku ini terdapat satu qoute Jack ma yg paling saya sukai _"EBay may be a shark in the ocean, but I am a crocodile in the Yangzi river. If we fight in the ocean, we lose; but if we fight in the river, we win"._
Di akhir buku ini juga dituliskan catatan pendek dari Jack ma yg membuat ending buku ini menjadi menarik dan sweet, yaitu mengenai "hal yg harus diingat baik-baik dalam hidup".

A concise and fair view
I think this book needs to be acknowledged for its brevity. Having said that, it highlights some of Jack Ma's best quotes and achievements. However, it does not describe his journey very vividly and neither his mistakes that much. I think that when he writes his own stuff, we will see more of it. This book is like a Eulogy to his work.

Short and sweet book to rekindle entrepreneur in you.
You can read it within half an hour and come to know about making of a business , emerging businesses and life skills to deal with success as well as failures.
Must read for high school students as well as higher fliers to enjoy like a tai chi session of balancing an relaxing.

Read it using my Kindle unlimited. It is shallow and boring with details of his companies which can be found in the company website. I read it to know more about him his failures and how he bounced back from them. It ends with a bunch of quotes from him. It is better to read a wikipedia page to know better about him

Loved this simple yet inspiring book
This book is written in its simplest terms . Jack ma is a phenomenal figure and there is so much to learn from him on his way of business! He is a true leader and this book will tell you why I say that!

Expected an elaborate account in the Biography but found a very brief and short insight into Mr. Jack Ma's life and business experiences. Nevethless it is still a good and quick read leading you to know more about him.

It reads more like a chronological short summary of life events. Doesn't read inspiring and gets boring many times. It could have been more elaborate with what were the factors leading to the decision.

A crap book. Wikipedia probably has better information than this book.

Only presents a very superficial view.
Would've loved it to be more detailed. This just seems like lazy writing. The entire journey should've been captured in great details.
