A phenomenal debut by a brilliant new author! When you think about how to write the first book of any series, take a second to look at this work of art. Emerald is a beautifully written novel that grabs the reader from the very first word. It holds onto you until you realize half the day is gone and there is no more book to read. The fact that this was written by a brand new author is astounding. I am going to be honest, I didn't really like the cover before I started reading this but after reading Emerald, I think there could not have been a better cover for this book. From start to finish Lee leaves the reader wanting... no needing more. Lee is a very promising new author and I can't wait to read more from her!

Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 star!

I'm still trying to figure out what I just read. But in an amazing way. "Emerald" popped my Harem Reverse cherry! I need to clear my head before writing a review.

Review to come.

Emerald is Book 1 in the Silvia Saga by debut author Jenna Lee.

As Dara turns 25-years-old, life as she knows it is about to be irrevocably changed. Brought up in a series of foster homes, her only family is her best friend, Kayla. With an affinity for nature, she loves nothing more than taking long hikes in the forest. Only there can she recharge her batteries away from the daily hum-drum of everyday life, and find the peace she seeks. She has never questioned why that is, but all is about to be revealed when four (yes, count them!) HOT (understatement) brothers enter her life...

For ordinary, Dara is not! She is actually the rightful heir, and saviour of another realm. A world more beautiful than her greatest imaginings where magic and wonder await along with great peril. For there, she is finally home. Now she must begin a quest with the help of her Warriors (insert hunky bros here) to uncover the stones to aide her victory.

As the brothers' train Dara hard *snorts*, she must learn to trust in them, and embrace her magical powers. Feelings begin to develop which scare Dara. How can she possibly have feelings for each of them? That can’t work, can it?

Well, I for one, wouldn’t mind being the bread in that man-meat sandwich *smirks* Whaaaa? *shrugs* I just can’t help myself sometimes *winks* You all know how much I love a good ménage book, but I’ve never read a reverse harem story before. I think I like it!

I’m always in awe of the worlds and stories that authors create. The ability to transport readers to another time and place where anything is possible if you believe enough. This is one of the reasons why I love to read so much *pinches fingers* Just a tad, lol!

I give this book a solid 4 stars, and look forward to reading the continuation of the trilogy in Topaz and seeing the progression of the author’s writing.

Plus, I really, really, like really-really, need to know what happens to a certain character... Impatient, moi?

This is my first Reverse Harem read ever, and let me tell you it makes me want to read more The Warriors are literally a perfect package. All four men have the sole job of protecting, Dara, of loving her. I could feel the sexual tension with every page I read. It kept me engaged all the way to the end, and it was an easy read! Once you meet Oliver, Blair, Declan, and Harlan, you too will find your perfect man. Whether its all of them or just one -- you will find yourself attracted to them.

Dara is a strong heroine. She doesn't allow herself to be ordered around, and doesn't let the worst of life's situation make her fold. She faces each threat head on.

After reading Jenna's debut, I am intrigued to find out what happens next! I'll be impatiently awaiting book 2!

Beautifully written, the build up in the characters relationship is great you get to know each one on an individual level, the slow build up helps grasp the concept of how important they all are, this series is very promising it draws you in the plot is very well planned out and I’m very much looking forward to the next book

Starts off with a dire catastrophe where Dara is sent away for her well being when she is only ten years old without her memories or magic. Speed up to when she turns 25 and she is faced with her past and who she really is. Having to overcome many obstacles and regaining her connection with her warriors. First in this series and is full of action, sexual attraction and survival.

I had higher expectations for this book, which is entirely my fault. I should know better by now not to put any sorts of expectations on books.
The plot and the characters might have been fine, but the storytelling itself seriously sucked. I stopped about 20 pages before the end and started reading a different book, because I just couldn't find it in myself to care about what was happening here.
I did eventually came back to finish Emerald, but it was done with great reluctance and I did not enjoy myself at all. I doubt I'd be looking for any follow ups.

Thank you to Jenna Lee and the #Squad for providing me with this free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Do you love reverse harem? Are you still on a book hangover from Jaymin Eve and Jane Washington's Seduction and looking to fill the void?

This. Right here. This book is what you're looking for. While there isn't as much build up in this story, and instalove is common, it is explained away by the fact that she knew them when she was little and then had her memory wiped for a period of time. It's fantasy, and fine. I'll just roll with that.

The writing is witty and fun with a distinctive Australian flair. While there is nothing too descriptive in the first book despite the cover, I can certainly tell where things could get steamy in the next.

Be warned, this is a solid New Adult/Adult Fantasy. Cussing abounds, and Dara is not very, ahem, ladylike. However, she is still incredibly likable.

I enjoyed reading Emerald, and am looking forward to book 2 (Topaz) but I will say that in reverse harem series, I prefer not being able to pick any of them. I want to be able to pick them all right along with the lead female. In this one? I totally ship #TeamBlair. While not necessarily a failing, it is a possible shortcoming if I continue to have the same favorite and the only reason this one gets a 4 star rating from me.

It's quick, it's fun, and you can read it in a sitting. It's coming out soon--so look for it!

This is the 1st book in the Silvia Saga and I thought it was a great start to this series. I loved the MC Dara’s personality and how strong she is, and I loved how she interacts with her warriors Declan, Oliver (he is secretly my favorite), Blair, and Harlan. I also like how Jenna gave us insight to what happened with Dara 1st and not make us wait to see why Dara had no memory of who she was before the age of 10. I loved how each of the brothers have different personalities (even the twins) and together they are seriously the perfect man. You could tell how in love they are in with Dara and how loyal and devoted they are to her and to keeping her safe (plus that chemistry between her and the guys OMG!!) I can’t wait to see what happens next and see how the relationship between Dara and her guys develops!!!!

A promising debut that can only improve as the series expands. I really enjoyed the dark twists that created the conflict in the first place and the incredible world and magic of Silvia. I struggled to connect with the MC Dara, as she had a lot of internal dialogue that felt superfluous and contradictory. However, the book has a large character cast that the author did a superb job of balancing and making sure the reader gets to know and connect with each one. Her Warriors are all so wonderfully different, that I can't even choose a favorite. The author's writing was a bit unpolished but I feel this will continue to improve with experience and am anticipating the next book.

Great debut novel for a young Aussie author. I look forward to watching her develop her craft.
This is a fantasy set between Earth and another world reached through a portal. Dara has lived for 10 years with her memories and magic wiped and now it's time to go home. She is Princess of another world and her Warriors are hot. There is plenty of action and drama and a romance or two or three or four waiting to happen. Can't wait to see how this series plays out.

AMAZING!!
Wow, what a great first book. Loved the pace of the novel and the story flowed.
The MC was fantastic and can relate - loves the outdoors and getting away.
Whilst she is still learning where she fits into this world, she can hold her own.
Her warriors worked really well with the story and helped bring out the best of the MC.
Overall, I enjoyed the pace, the characters and highly recommend.

Emerald follows Dara, the lost princess of the land of Silvia. Tragedy befell her family, so she was sent to Earth to escape. On her 25th birthday, she goes out with a friend and meets a group of guys who feel very familiar to her. She undergoes a transformation. After initially freaking out, she learns of her past, and of her destiny.
From the very beginning, I was hooked. I could not wait to find out what happened next. I enjoyed learning about Dara, and watching as she reconnects with her warriors.

Emerald is Book 1 in The Silvia Saga if the other books are anything like this one hold on to your seats. Jenna Lee is a wonderful writer holding my attention from the first word to the last. Did not want it to end. Can not wait for book 2. I felt there was a great story line as I stated that held your attention. Loved that there was a strong female character and that she didn't take carp from anyone. Dara once turning 25 has to face her past and reconnect with her warriors. This first installment is enough to hold your interest and have you waiting for Book 2. Wonderful job Jenna. Highly recommend this book. A Must Read.

I absolutely loved the plot of this and I'm so excited to see where this goes next! Dara is likeable, but stubborn and I love how distinct each of the guys are, even if Harlan gets on my nerves. The only reason I knocked a star off is because it felt very whirlwind-y but I do like quite long stories and it doesn't detract from the storyline at all. Definitely worth a read, especially to see where the story is going!

I received an ARC of this and decided to review.

I received this book as an ARC and loved it!
Dara is a brilliant main character who is living a normal life until she turns 25 and everything changes.
The way her story is told is great and the description is wonderful, making me wish I was there.
I can't wait to read the next part and see what challenges Dara and her warriors have in front of them.

Dara loves nature and spending time in the outdoors, but is there a deeper meaning behind her need to go out? Dara is a strong heroine whose true identity is revealed in the prologue. She has four strong and protective knights to help her get back to the life she was supposed to have. I could feel the chemistry between the characters through the whole story.
There is still room for improvement regarding the writing, but I’ll definitely read the second one!

Emerald is a great introduction to The Silvia Saga. As I turned each page I kept wondering what was going to happen next. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. The book ends on a little bit of a cliffy, but it just keeps us wondering what is going to happen next! :)

This was a really good start to the series, and I really like the concept and the world Jenna Lee built.

Dara is just a normal girl, with a normal life.. or so she thinks. In the blink of an eye her whole life changes, and she's forced with a truth that's hard to believe. Luckily she has 4 sexy men to help her along the way. Now they have a plan to take out her uncle and save the land of Silvia.

Great debut story, curios as to what will happen next.

Overall a truly enjoyable reading experience. I struggled a little at the beginning but it picked right up and took me on a riveting ride. The word building was very well thought out and the story was set at a good pace. Eagerly awaiting book 2 to see what else will transpire. Kudos Jenna Lee! Well done! This book is a good beginning to a series. I can definitely see the potiential for this to be a great series. I loved the character development throughout the story. I would have liked to have more insight into the brothers lives but it isn't necessary for the story. I am definately looking forward to seeing where the story takes us!
